There’s a lot of pressure on us to hustle and get ahead. Long hours of work at school or a job are encouraged by society, and working is a good thing. What can become a problem is when we stop seeing the things we gain as gifts and think we’re responsible for what we have in life. If we take this attitude further, it’s easy to start expecting that we should have the best of everything and demand it. Let’s make sure we stay thankful for what we have.
God does have a plan for each one of us, and it’s beautiful. Sometimes it’s hard, and painful, and it’ll bring us to our knees. But that’s where we learn how to be strong through His strength. No matter what season of life we find ourselves in, God has the future ready for us.
Making friends isn’t always easy, so what happens when our friends don’t share our faith? Can we still be friends with them? If so, how can we make sure to hold on to our faith?
Here are six ways to hold on to your faith, especially if you’re starting college, a new school, or job. They’re really things we can all do.
You’ve grown up with yourself, so shouldn’t you know you? Before you start college, a new job, or switch schools, Make sure you know your faith, your values, and who you are.
Forgiving people can be hard, especially if you’re like me and think that means saying that what happened didn’t matter. Let’s look a little deeper at forgiving, because it really involves grace for the person who was at fault and the person who was offended.
