Can we believe more today than yesterday? Can seeing every day events in a different perspective shine a light on the potential in our lives? I believe it can. This podcast was created to help learn the important lessons in life from every day events.
If you feel this way you are not alone.
I have been hearing this statement from more and more people lately. Its impacting all of us and it’s a big deal. It’s a big deal, one because it’s become so prevalent and two because left unchecked its impacting people’s lives in so many negative ways. It’s also something anyone can turn around. Because of my work I get to spend a good amount of time in the coal mine looking for canaries. I’m coming above ground to tell you the mine is full of them. Flying into walls. Unfocused, overwhelmed, stressed out, confused, suffering physically and missing life. If you are feeling like one of those canaries read on.
Today's podcast ponders what happens when we grow in life and what the impact could be on our world.
How can we make the world better? Is there a sliding door of opportunity right in front of us that we are not paying attention to?
I thought about this while I was out walking the dog this morning and it made me wonder what would happen if the 8 billion or so neighbor’s we have worked on themselves, as Jim Rohn said and, “Became more” Just a bit more. What would the impact on the world be? More than we can possibly imagine was my answer.
Control this- And You Can Have Anything
I get this sounds like another overblown, wild promise in the world of life and business but hear me out. This is 100% true and if you gain dominion over this, you really can have anything.
The greatest challenge we will ever face is the voice in our head telling us we can’t. You see for every last person on earth our common enemy is thought. We are not aware of it but what happens is that every time we have a thought we go inside the subconscious mind, open the files from past experience and ask, “What do we know about this”? The information stored in the mind from past experiences informs us. The information by the way can be put there from a variety of places. Your own experience. Something you heard on the media. From a co-worker. A neighbor. The pages of a book. Any source that has the capacity to allow you to take in information. Then, when we have a thought, we access this information, and that’s how all decisions are made.
Giving thanks is such an important element to attracting more. It is also important to know our place to look to others who gave so much so that we could have what we do today.
As a small boy I learned the words to In Flanders Fields. I have never forgotten them and every year they play back in my mind, reminding me what others gave up so that we could have our freedom.
FEAR!!!!
Just saying the word fear, conjures up so many different images deep in our subconscious minds. I want to talk to you about fear today but perhaps about a different kind of fear. The good kind.
I’m Randy Taylor and thanks so much for taking the time to join me for “Here’s what
I’ve learned”. I’ve decided after decades of the study of human potential this next
phase of life for me is to share as much that I’ve learned with as many people as
I can, so thank you and if you find value please share it with others.
There are two kinds of fear. One that will strip away everything we are capable of and the
other that will make the life we have always dreamed of possible.
How to program yourself for success.
The FACTS of Your Potential Explained by Science
The Molecules of Success
Today I wanted to share with you some incredibly important information about your future and your potential and how to push past what holds us all back and to once and for all create the roadmap to the life you can have. The life you deserve. The life you have always been capable of. It is all based on what I will refer to as the ‘molecules of success.
I always welcome your comments and questions. If I can answer questions or help in any way please e-mail me at

One of the greatest skills we can learn is the ability to be humble enough to learn from others. I am someone who has been so very lucky to have had amazing mentors in my life. The shoulders of giants I have been able to stand on. Mike Cooper who brought my radio career to life. Jim Rohn whose words helped to bring me out of a dark place and begin to learn what is possible. What I wanted to share with you today are the unlikely mentors we can all learn from and who can have the greatest impact on our lives if we listen.
Please share this with others if you find value in it. If you have comments or would like to connect I'm always available and love what I do

CONSCIOUS INTENTION- How to overcome doubt
The question I was working on when I created this process I've called Conscious Intention was what is it that holds us all back from really achieving all we are capable of and more importantly can we do something to overcome it.
The reality is for all of us all is that we are capable of so much more than we could imagine. To achieve any goal we need to first identify it. Then to create a plan. Then to take action and finally to continue on long enough until the prize shows up.
A challenge that we all face during the process of getting there is maintaining our commitment. Here’s my definition of that. “The definition of commitment is the continuation of an activity in the apparent absence of results”.
So here’s the process. I want it, I’m doing things to get it, I’m hitting obstacles, I’m still trying and I don’t see it”, ah forget it, its not working and I give up. Sound familiar?
Through the understanding of the science of human behaviour this new approach to overcoming doubt may just be the answer you have been searching for to help achieve your goals. You absolutely can live with Conscious Intention.

The Secret to Growth- In all areas of lif
Everything we have ever achieved in life and all that we could possibly ever want will ultimately come down to one thing. To grow. To do that we need to move past our comfort zone.
I’m Randy Taylor and thanks so much for taking the time to join me for “Here’s what I’ve learned”. I’ve decided after decades of the study of human potential this next phase of life for me is to share as much that I’ve learned with as many people as I can, so thank you and if you find value please share it with others.
So what is it that you want and have yet to achieve? Do you have health goals? Financial goals? Relationship goals? Skills you have yet to master? Goals to create things and build things and help others you have yet to accomplish?
If we keep doing what we are doing we will keep getting what we are getting. In order to have something different we need to do something different.
Overcoming Distractions
So how do we do it? How do we get the most from life and not allow hours and days and years to be stolen away to distraction?
I’m Randy Taylor and thanks so much for taking the time to join me for “Here’s what I’ve learned”. I’ve decided after decades of the study of human potential this next phase of life for me is to share as much that I’ve learned with as many people as I can, so thank you and if you find value please share it with others.
I know for most all of us it doesn’t feel like it but our time is limited. What we have and who we become and the experiences we have in life really is up to us. It’s a choice. It’s so easy to allow distractions to take a minute here and a minute there. A minute can turn into an hour and without seeing it happen days can flash by turning to years like telephone poles on a picket fence and the things we wanted to do and who we hoped to become can sadly slip away.
Don't shelter your dreams where you can't hear them.
Today's podcast is a great example of what happens when you take an inspired thought or goal or life and breathe life into it.
You have the power to do so much
The seemingly insignificant actions of life can create such a profound impact. You can and do make a difference every day. Often times it begins with just a ripple. All we need do is begin.
We have all experienced beginners luck.
Often a door begins to open only to be pushed back by challenge and adversity. Beginners Luck is a universal law and understanding it can pave the way forward for you.
Regardless of the distractions of life. Important moments happen every day.
Today's podcast shares the great genius of a four year old.
Becoming anything we can imagine is possible.
This lesson came by way of an unlikely piano player in an empty bar.
How much life are you missing? Paying attention to this simple fact can change everything.
We are all pulled seemingly in a million directions every day. Taking us away from being able to do more and create more and most importantly to experience more. This episode makes it abundantly clear just how much we are in control.
It's easy to fall into the same trap every day that gets us off track and we stay there.
Without knowing it, it is easy to self-sabotage our day and the truth is all of it is within our control. Starting the day off on the right foot is a choice, and making that simple choice each day will have an enormous impact on how the day turns out.
Think of all the goals from the past you gave up on. What if you didn't stop.
The study of the science of human behaviour for over 30 years pinpoints exactly what happen to every one of us when we don't achieve a goal. Here's how you can change that.
What were once your vices could become your habits
It's easy to get stuck in life and believe we are who we are and can't change it. Not true. Anything can be changed. Any doubt can be turned into a belief. Any lack of activity can be put on autopilot if you are prepared to follow a simple process. Create the habits you know will impact your life. You can do this.
Much has been said and written about The Law of Attraction. While it may seem very etherial in the world of quantum physics a great deal has been studied and proven. As such we are energy. And yes, we are in control of how it goes out beyond our physical bodies.
The advice you need to get what you want is right there
This is fascinating how much in life is at our disposal (FOR FREE) when we just alter how we see ourselves. Any comments on this and your own life is always welcome

Understanding the science of the mind is essential in overcoming stress.
You can do it right now. Here's how.
Don't get faked out by the calendar.
The measure of a great life all comes down to the sum total of great experiences we are having. Are you getting your fair share?
Who will write your screenplay?
Without realizing it, we are all directed by the screenplay of our lives. Here's what most of us don't know. We can pick up the pen and start writing the story we want to live.
So here we are. It's 2021. Will we set the goal to have a great life or sit and wait for Covid to pass? Here's why not to choose the latter
So often life becomes limited by how we view an event or situation. Changing how we view it can most times create amazing opportunities. Covid is one of those such events.
Sharing My Truth
“Anyone, and I honestly believe anyone can find their passion and make it their life. They can, they really can”
Over my lifetime that statement has brought out a legion of opinions counter to my own with all the reasons why I was wrong. I have never swayed in my quiet belief of this but being honest with myself right now, I know it has had an effect on what I do and how forthright I am in my work. I’ve had great success helping people mostly in business reach higher and achieve many goals. With that being said, my passion, my real strength, what I am the best in the world at is believing in others.
I am certain anyone can find their passion and make it their life and I’m no longer going to bend from that. There is no such thing as winners and losers. It is the opinions of the world that create that great divide, not who you are as a person.
There is one gift each and every one of us needs and could use anytime. One size fits all.
Not since the 2nd world war have we faced such an enormous challenge. The hope of this commentary is to compel as many people as we can to do all that they can. Your family and community and country and world need you now more than ever before.
Inspiration can come in every shape and form. This time, the lesson for us all comes from a 7 year old.
The most important element of life is not fame or fortune or great wealth. It is PASSION. When you find it it all becomes clear. Go looking and don't stop until you find it.
CAN'T. I hate this word. We all should. It's wrong and it does more to take away dreams than almost anything in the world. I know if you say it, you are most certainly wrong.
You don't lack the ability to accomplish anything. It all becomes possible when you find the reason.
Pushing past the noise of the world, set the goal to understand the power of quiet excellence.
Its common phenomenon this thing called beginners luck. When it fades it challenges life itself. The key is to just keep going.
Dance today. Dance often. Don't care what the world thinks. Care how it makes you feel.
This day. This life. This journey. We can live the life we are deserving of or we can settle. Here's an idea. Don't have a plan B.
In truth, life is just a collection of experiences, good and bad. How many good ones we choose to have will determine the lives we lead. Know this. We can either get THROUGH the day or FROM it.
The loss of human potential is immeasurable. Far too often we give up because our goals don't arrive on our timeline. We must know, success happens at the speed of life.
We protect our kids from watching violent movies and playing violent video games. Sound advice. Why do we believe we are are a new species when we become adults.
Now more than ever, we are constantly bombarded by images of others, leading to a decline in self-esteem and belief. There is and will only every be one you. So just do that. Compare you to you.
It's so important to put our own lives and challenges into perspective. When we do the view can open all doors.
Stress pushes us to invest all our time into something we can't know. Save it for when we need it
There truly is nothing more important to give another than your belief in them. Give the gift often.
Sometimes the collection of just a few words can make us see our path forward in life. This is one of those phrases.
This is a CALL TO ACTION. Please listen, comment and share with others. YOU can make a difference.
What we fail to pay attention to in life, sadly gets lost and with it our true sense of balance.
Here's a question most people never stop during their entire life and ask. To really ask?
Why is it that earning more money seems so elusive for so many? It may not be what you think.
As our lives unfold moment by moment, it may not seem like it does but make no mistake. What you do matters.
Are the rules you are following serving you? Maybe it's time to challenge a few of them.
It's so easy to get paralyzed by the inaction of everyone around us. Great thing to know. Don't let it be you.
Sometimes those things we fear the most are what strips away potential. Know the real risks in life.
Life lessons often times come from simple stories. The story may be simple. The impact is enormous.
Those closest to us can have a dramatic impact on what we do and what we believe we are capable of. Is our best friend the enemy? Listen to find out
Did you know where you are is a direct result of choice? Choose your own path or it will be chosen for you.
Those things that stand between where we are and where we want to be are little more than illusions.
The influence of others in our lives can form us into a mold we may not have wanted to live in. Being aware and keeping the good will aid in our walk down that authentic path of life.
There is one word I learned from my little girl that we all need to know and use often. It's the word that breathes life into dreams.
50 years is a long time to check in with ourselves. Thoughts on keeping your goals on track.
That dragon of doubt is something we all face. But really. You can't beat it one more time? Listen and know you can.
Can we find the answers on our own to anything? Sure, I guess. If you want them much faster allow others in and know this. All you have to do is ask.
Do past failures impact what happens to who we become and what we have? It certainly can unless you have a different perspective to manage the mind and overcome past challenges. Here's an idea that works.
We all have those things that we just don't like to do. Deep down inside we also know not doing them is holding us back. Here's a way to get them done and get on with your successful life.
We are all affected, impacted, influenced by and directed by others. When it comes to deciding right from wrong it's the person staring in the mirror that really knows.
Inside we all have this incredible creative power to build and do and have and become. Having the right conversation with ourselves is so important. If you feel stuck try this. Try thinking with your fingers.
Some of the greatest life lessons come from reflections at the end of life. Its where true perspectives comes into view. For this professor, his came after only 46 years here. Words left to teach us all.
Think for just a moment of something really amazing you would like to have. See it in your mind? Great, now follow the example of nature and go get it.
One of the most important is to not judge the present by the past. We all have injuries. We are all left with scars. How we see it and how we move beyond it is key to moving forward in life.
Most everyone is on the track. The right track to having or becoming what we really want in life. The truth is for most of us, all we need do is turn up the volume.
Not the stuff but the example we set. As parents it is so easy to fall down that slope of trying to provide all we can for our kids and lose sight of what they are learning but watching us do it.
This podcast will provide some background on why I decided to create this and what it is all about. More than 10 years ago I began writing a piece on personal and professional development called Perspectives to share with my clients and database. Each perspective is a short story of the events I have taken note of in life and to then try and define the lesson from it. Over the years it has grown and now the written stories goes out to thousands every day. It was the urging of a client who said, "It would be great if you recorded these so I could listen to the in the morning or in my car". And so it has. My hope is that in these stories you will see more of your own potential and be inspired to believe in yourself more and more. If you enjoy them please share them with others. My greatest goal in life is to help as many people as I possibly can believe in themselves more. I of course welcome your comments and contact.

Oh Canada ‘A’………………. we knew it all along.

OK, so 100% every person on this earth has unlimited, untapped potential. Convincing the mind of it is the switch that turns ability into reality.
