Governors shred the Bill of Rights

Bryan Fischer here with today’s Life and Liberty Minute. Our nation’s governors have been routinely shredding the Bill of Rights throughout the panic over the Chinese virus. New Jersey governor Phil Murphy arrested folks attending a synagogue and closed down beaches. When asked by Tucker Carlson this week, “By what authority did you nullify the Bill of Rights? How do you have the power to do that?” He responded with the most appalling thing I’ve ever heard from the mouth of a politician: “That’s above my pay grade, Tucker. I wasn’t thinking of the Bill of Rights when we did this.” If thinking about the Bill of Rights is above his pay grade, he’s not qualified to be a sanitation engineer, let alone the governor of one of most important states. If we want to reopen America, let’s begin by reopening the Constitution and doing what it says. Starting today.
