Pastor Boyd continues our series entitled "It's All About Jesus". In this sermon, Pastor Boyd shares the story of Cornelius and Peter from Acts 10. He emphasizes that no matter how impressive our background is, it won't get us to God. He also talks about Cornelius' remarkable spiritual traits and his obedience in following the vision he was given immediately. Additionally, Boyd discusses Peter's hesitation in going with the three men sent by Cornelius until God spoke directly to him. Finally, Pastor Boyd encourages those who have not yet committed their lives to Jesus to do so right away--like Cornelius did--so that they can experience all the benefits of a relationship with Him.
Rev. Kelvin Walker concluded the series by honoring Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s motivation of love, the very thing that transforms how we live when we "put it on".
