He never promised an easy life but He did promise prayer, grace, help and true freedom.
What is redemptive suffering? Why do we Christians say human suffering has meaning and purpose? What does the Cross have to do with us today?

Sadness or suffering and joy seem opposed to each other. How can Christ be joyful on the Cross? How was the blessed Mother joyful as she saw her Son and Savior crucified? How did St Paul say he rejoiced in his sufferings?

God really can provide for all things...usually we just want Him to provide for our needs as we dream them up. His ways are not outlet ways!
Scandals are not reasons to reject Christ and His Church but to trust all the more in His Divinity and less in fallen humanity
God has formed a covenant with us and has ratified it in His own Blood. This means something drastic for us and it is beautiful!
