Creativity Shots is a quick podcast about how artists get creative. Each week, artists describe their process, how to build an audience in the social media era, and the journey of a new artist. Creativity Shots is not meant as a course about how to get creative. However, it will hopefully inspire people to do just so: it is full of helpful tips from creatives with various levels of success. I, Acee, will be sharing the steps of my own journey as well, and insights to how creativity works for me.
When you're a content creator, you eventually have to put out stuff on the Internet. Though when it comes to that, one of the most common excuses comes from perfectionism : when everybody has a perfect Instagram feed, you feel like you need to create something as perfect as they do. It's been a while ! In this second episode, Acee takes a look at how artists often tend to get inspired in a very sexual way. In a sense, sexuality is one of the most creative parts of a person's life, too. How are those 2 worlds related? Why is it we typically set them apart?
PS: Sexuality and art are both considered sacred by many religions, and rightly so. I think both sexuality and art have a mystic aspect to them... To be continued?
