Hi, I’m Anna Gannon, a mother, wife, and intuitive meditation, movement and energy guide. I created this podcast to serve as a sacred space where we could explore our evolution, spirituality and growth as mothers, women and humans living in today’s modern world. Come dive deep into your inner world, and discover ancient wisdom, rituals and practices that will support you on your motherhood journey. Each episode ends with a guided meditation and energy practice that will allow you to step further into yourself and this work.
This meditation practice guides you towards connecting with your breath. Effortlessly allowing you to settle into presence, as your mind relaxes and your body restores.
Whenever I sit down to be interviewed, lead a meditation, or simply talk to a random stranger about meditation, I always find myself dismantling the popular myths that surround what meditation is and isn’t.
In today’s episode, I’m breaking down those myths so that you can feel more knowledgable and at ease in your practice.
We’ll be discussing:
When the best time to meditate is.
If there is an ideal posture.
If it’s ok to fall asleep.
Whether you are meditating if you are thinking.
And if one style of meditation is better than another.
Whether you are new to meditation, or a seasoned practitioner, I hope you’ll receive some nugget of information in this episode that will support you in starting or maintaining a meditation practice.
In this meditation, you will be guided into an expansive visualization as you learn how to embody and illuminate peace. Allowing you to touch peace as it’s flows throughout your past, present and future.
When we think about what it means to obtain our dream life, we often think about action. We plan out the road map to success, and take the appropriate steps that we hope will eventually land us exactly where we'd like to be. However. what we often overlook is that no matter how hard we plan, the results are rarely up to us. COVID19 for example, has put this fact right in front of our faces. It has forced us to collectively PAUSE, look around and access what it means to live a beautiful life. In today's episode we discuss what it means to go with the flow of what's unfolding in every moment, how our dream life may be closer than we think, and how slowing down and pausing might be the answer to touching the peaceful calm that resides within all of us.
From a young age, Alysse Doty, a mother of two, became aware of her ability to hear people's thoughts and channel information from the beyond.
However, after a few occurrences of her sharing what she was hearing as a child with others, Alysse decided to shut down her abilities. That is, until they erupted out of her again when she was pregnant with her first child.
Now, as a channeler who’s studied with some of the world’s leading masters in sacred healing, meditation, intuitive guidance, and yoga, Alysse draws from a deep well of resources, including psychic-mediumship and Spiritual Response Therapy (SRT) to channel information. Using these tools, Alysee guides people back into the truest part of themselves. Taking them beyond the cognitive mind, so they can learn how to cultivate knowingness, develop relational intelligence and trust the wisdom that they hold within.
On today’s episode, Alysse shares what it was like to hear things as a young child, how she was guided to begin working with a pendulum doing SRT, and how as a mother, she has learned to lean into her intuitive abilities and trust in her innate wisdom.
About Alysse Doty: Alysse draws from a deep well of resources , including psychic-mediumship and Spiritual Response, to guide people back into truest part of themselves. Maintaining good energy hygiene. This practice allows you to clear and cleanse your energy so that you can feel refreshed and renewed.
As mother’s, it can sometimes feel challenging to hear our own thoughts, feel our own energy or simply connect with our breath. However, when we practice good energy hygiene, we can create space to hear, feel and sense ourselves again. Allowing us to act and respond from a place of clarity and connection, rather than frustration and or fatigue.
In this episode, we’re discussing what energy hygiene is and how we can use it to support ourselves as mothers and humans.
I’m Anna Gannon, a mother, wife and intuitive meditation, movement and energy guide.
I created this podcast to serve as a space where mother’s can come to remember who they are. Each week we will be exploring various topics in the realm of consciousness, and doing a practice together to experience the topic first hand. It’s my hope that this podcast and community will support all of us in living more awake and compassionate lives as humans and mothers.
In this week's episode we are diving into what intuition is, the different ways we receive intuitive information and how we can build our intuitive ability by paying attention.
As always, at the end of the episode we will settle in for a meditation and energy practice that will allow you to connect with your intuition at a deeper level.
If you'd like to see this week's intuitive movement practice, you can find it @motheringawake IGTV on Instagram under Yin heart opening massage.
In today’s episode we are exploring frequency and vibration. We will be discussing what the human body’s frequency is when healthy and unhealthy, as well as how our frequency changes when we come together to do things like meditate or pray.
Lastly we’ll be diving into the power of the rose, which has the highest tangible frequency of all physical form, and doing a guided meditation using the image of a rose to uplift our individual vibrations, as well as the collective.
