Changes to Weather Channel Outwear Coming Soon? As recent as April 2021, we saw all the jackets with The Weather Channel logo and the Landsend Logo being worn. The Landsend Logo was large and very prominent on all of their outerwear clothing.  There are youtube videos on the Landsend youtube channel that feature prominent videos promoting the Landsend apparel.  Cut to August 2021 and they are all but missing. Then I searched for the weather channel webpage on Landsend https://www.landsend.com/theweatherchannel/ But going to the above link sends you to a plain jacket on the Landsend page. The age old traditional image of what it is to be a ‘real man’ often involves a smoky bar without a woman in sight, where men can go to drink beer, chain smoke, and talk about sport. We see this image in our favorite nostalgic movies (yes, I’m looking at you Gremlins) as well as in commercials, and other forms of advertising. What we rarely see in this image though is those same manly men rolling around on the floor drunk: and that’s because real men don’t get wasted. The Statistics Surrounding Binge Drinking Drinking might well be a rite of […]

If you’ve seen the latest Star Wars – Rogue One, you may have enjoyed the character of Chirrut Imwe played by Donnie Yen.  He repeats a mantra that sticks in your head, and in the movie was a bit humorous at times.  I am one with the force, the force is with me. Anyway, freebie Tuesday here is a desktop background artwork done by this guy Darth Temoc on Deviant art. 1920×1080 Desktop Wallpaper

For the first time in a while, we have a first-person shooter video game out that brings the best graphics and killing that is WW1.  But in all honesty, it comes nothing to the amount of death, rather, senseless death. How it Began Think about how the War started, fate stepped in.  A group of plotters including Gavrilo Princip in a conspiracy to assassinate Arch Duke Ferdinand gathered along a parade route in Serbia. The Arch Duke was visiting to see military maneuvers in Sarajevo. They throw a bomb, it explodes and hits the car and bounces off, hits the next car […]

Patience is a Virtue As with most things in life, being patient with your bread and just allowing it to grow naturally without trimming it, at least in the first 4-6 months, is essential. Once the hairs grow out in all areas evenly, you can pick a style that suits their length and thickness. Choose a Style that Compliments Your Face Not every face will be suited to a certain style of bread. In order to look good with a beard, you need to select a beard style that enhances your facial features. Beard Oil is Your Friend Beard is […]

For those of you who grew up in the 80’s or on the cusps of the 80’s the latest netflix tv series of Stranger Things takes you on a nostalgic journey through a ton of awesome 80’s movies referencing some of the greats. As […]

In the purest form of the term, manscaping is about a man taking charge of his life through cleanliness and hygiene. Through maintaining the canvas of our bodies, manscaping allows us to take control of our life.

I had a chance to chat with Jason of Tryablade.com as I had recently been turned onto the site to quickly and easily sample a large number of different double edge razor blades.  The speed of shipping and great customer services prompted me to follow up with him and have a quick interview on the site and how it came about.   How did you come up with the idea of tryablade.com ? When I started wet shaving, I didn’t know what blades to buy, so I bought a sampler from a web site that contained about ten full packs. […]
