Oftentimes we fall into a 'quid pro quo' relationship with God. We think if I do _____ for God, he'll do _____ for me. Fortunately for us that is not how a real relationship works. God is faithful and has extended unconditional love and grace to us! Join me, and Pastor MK, as we preach 2 Samuel 7 this Sunday!
The word "admonish" is not often used. It's an important command, something all Christians are called to. We're called to correct and warn other believers when they are flirting with sin. They are called to do the same for us. Admonishing is an act of love! This Sunday we'll take to heart the teachings of Jesus as we are instructed to admonish: privately, positively, and prayerfully.
And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.
In Galatians 6 encourages us to be "burden bearers". We're to help people get back up on their feet (spiritually) and back to the way of Christ. We do this gently and humbly just as Jesus perfectly did so for us.

In the Bible we meet Jesus in a man named Barnabas. He was the greatest encourager around and do you know what set him apart from everyone else? He turned outward not inward. When he had chances to shrink back, use his wealth on himself or a chance to celebrate his own success he turned outward and sought to bless everyone around him. We rarely see his name but he influenced the majority of the New Testament. Let's turn outward not inward!
God loves us. He serves us. And in response, we are called to serve others in love. Join us as we study Galatians 5:13-15.
God desires us to confess our sins, He desires to forgive our sins, and He desires to bring us back into relationship with him. Prepare your hearts and the elements as we partake in communion this Sunday.

When we forbear with others we accept them despite their imperfections. When we don't forbear with others we rob them of a chance to encounter God's grace.
The costly love of Jesus, the compelling love of Jesus, and the command to love like Jesus. We'll be studying John 13; Jesus, the foot washing Savior.
Just as God invited Zechariah, the shepherds, and others to join him, God invites you too! When we enter into the pain and messiness of the world, as Jesus did for us, it can be uncomfortable and even scary. God gives us the same word he gave when Jesus was born, "Do not be afraid."
This week we will look at Jesus' teaching regarding wolves in sheep’s clothing and the false teaching that comes with it. How do we identify false teachers? False teaching?
Fasting is a spiritual discipline that God can use to transform our hearts and lives. If we fast without a spiritual purpose it's a diet that leaves hungry, angry, and even worse ... hangry! If we fast with a spiritual purpose expect to meet God in a transforming way!
What does it look like to 'love your enemy' today? Jesus tells us to "Pray for Them & Hang with Them"! This is a challenging and incredibly relevant passage.
Psalm 119:105-112 reminds us that God's Word guides us and helps us orient ourselves in a disoriented world. The Psalm also reminds us that life is extremely hard yet in the midst of the hardship we're to be committed to God and his word because he's been committed to us.
“God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore WE WILL NOT FEAR." Psalm 46:1-2a
This Sunday we'll be coming together with one voice praying that God would expose the lies of the world and usher in the truth as only he can. Last week we focused on heart change - this week we're asking for world change. Join us as we dive into Psalm 5!
Psalm 4 encourages us, despite what's happening all around us, to pray that God would change what's happening inside of us. We can relate to the Psalmist in that there seems to be chaos all around yet the Psalmist, Jesus, and Paul focus on genuine heart change.
The resurrection of Jesus Christ actually happened and he invites you to his table of transformation!
We will see Paul’s remarkable, world-altering, Holy Spirit response. And learn how to imitate Him as he imitated Christ!
