I sat down with Paul Stenson in this weeks episode. Paul is renouned for his outrage marketing tactics. He runs the Charleville Lodge and White Moose Cafe, which is a hotel based in Dublin, and he vlogs daily (with a creative twist) on the hotels social media page. If there's one thing this man doesn't fear, it's snowflakes!
This week I was joined by Susan and Carol who set up a group called "A new normal", along with two other women, Karen and Ann. The group is for people who have lost someone close to them through suicide. The girls had first hand experience with this, as their kids were victims of suicide. They had very interesting stories to tell, some great advice and insights into mental health as well as how to handle grief.
I'm joined this week by Mark Ward, a local TD in my area running along Sinn Fein in the General election 2020. I asked Mark about why we need to get out and vote, what difference it will make, Sinn Feins main objectives if they are voted into power and we focused a lot on how the homeless situation can be solved.
My mam is back with me this week, we spoke about our gas night away in Cork, the days my mam smoked hash, have we ever pissed ourselves as adults and who we'll be voting for in the election !
This week I talk to a good friend of mine who goes by the name of Thommas Kane Byrne. You may know him from the virgin media drama series, Darklands, where he plays the notorious gangster, Butsy! But, I know Thommas on a more personal level, he's absolutely gas and so talented, he grew up on Sean MC Dermott Street in Dublin inner city, and had plenty to talk about from life in the flats, to writing plays, anxiety, and his latest role on TV.
