This week I am kicking off a series of small business stories with some inspiring and incredible women in business. The first episode I am chatting with Antoinette Stonham from All About Style. She has been in business for many years and has lots of stories to tell. This was such a fun chat! I hope you enjoy listening as much as we did putting this together.
A little bit about Antoinette:
I Am Passionate About Helping Women Feel Confident In Their Own Skin. Dressing For Their Body And Enhancing Their Beauty Through Fashion.
In 2013, I launched my business All About Style. As a Personal Stylist in the working class area of Campbelltown, people thought I was crazy! The perception of Personal Styling is that it is only for the rich and famous. However, I wanted to bring my knowledge and experience to women of all ages and budgets. Money should not be a barrier for looking fabulous.
I looked back on my years of experience in customised pattern making and design, in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs. I already had the expertise and knowledge of the male and female body shape as I was able to draft patterns specifically for all shapes and sizes to flatter and balance the body. I also had the eye for colour and style, which would give me an edge over most Personal Stylists.
One experience that really pushed me to start my business happened while shopping with a girlfriend. A lady was in the dressing room next to us who was being helped by the shop assistant. I was watching what garments she was trying on and not a single garment suited her. The shop assistant sold her an expensive outfit that was not only the wrong colour for her, it was totally wrong for her body shape and was not flattering at all. Till this day I feel so bad for not saying something.
The reason I felt inspired to help was that the shop assistants are driven to make a sale, where I am impartial. I tell you the truth and want you to leave a shop with an outfit that will have you looking and feeling your best.
I had some great experiences in pattern making over the years and even had the opportunity to design and create costumes for the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras. While raising a family and supporting my husband in his business, I put aside my dreams. Turning 50 really kickstarted my passion to do what I love, and I have loved every day since.
Since the beginning I have styled both male and female clients, from all walks of life, as young as 11 years of age to the maturity of 90 years old. All body shapes and sizes from 6 to 26. I love playing dress-up from your wardrobe, experimenting with new styles for you and teaching you how to do it for yourself.

This weeks episode is I am chatting about owning your worth! Your worth is unlimited but often we tie our worth to our pricing which results in undercharging, discounting and a lot of mindset drama's when people reject our offers! We often make assumptions about our clients and customers and what they will pay for our things based on our own feelings about self-worth.
Today on the podcast I am dropping 5 really simple tips to help you supercharge your goals so you actually achieve them! I know I am guilty of setting goals at the beginning of the year and by the time February rolls around I have made no action toward actually making them happen. So they end up in the bottom of a draw somewhere never to be seen again. The problem with this is, we then end up creating things in our business that aren't aligned with what our purpose and bigger mission is so we get to the end of the year and feel like we haven't done what we wanted to. Most of us our super time poor right, so instead of trying to do all the things, focus on what is really going to help you hit your goals and say no to those things that won't!So here are the 5 tips in a nutshell:1. Don't look too far into the future!2. Break them into bite sized chunks.3. Write your goals down everyday.4. Feel into the emotion or intention behind your goals.5. Make sure they are aligned with your values and set your soul on fire.Do you set goals for your business? Or maybe you have and you have already forgotten what they are. The good news is there is never a wrong time to go through the process again. You don't need to wait until the beginning of a month, quarter or year to set them. 1,2,3 GO! Grab out your notebook right now and get cracking on setting some goals for the next week, month or quarter! If this is something your struggle with, or if you struggle staying accountable to achieving them, then lucky for you this is my jam! There are two ways I can support you to set aligned goals and actually achieve them:1. In my Facebook Group you will find a tonne of free trainings and I am in here daily offering accountability and support2. My 1 Month Intensives where we work together to:* set aligned and confident goals * create an action plan for you to achieve them (and I hold you accountable to implement this for the whole month) * Unlock the mindset blocks and challenges that are holding you back from doing the things!
If this sounds like something you need support with I have two spots available right now! I would love to chat with you, and even if these aren't right for you the 20 minutes can be super helpful to unload everything going on in your mind and gain some clarity.BOOK A CHAT HEREIt's hard to see the big picture in our own business because we are so invested in everything and so busy with the actual 'doing' in the business. Having someone else help us to zoom out so we can look at everything from a new perspective and identify the opportunities for growth and income generation is one of the most valuable things I have done to grow my business with more ease.Happy goal getting lovelies,Zoe Xx

Today I am sharing with you 3 things I am doing differently to achieve the results I want in my business. I am always looking for easier ways to do things and to try and create EASE in my life. So I am saying goodbye to the things that are feeling hard and not aligned with my goals this year. So the 3 things I am doing differently:1. I am not setting SMART goals this year. GASP! Yep, I am just leaning into focusing on my intentions which is to help as many ladies I can show up in their business in a way that feels fun and easeful so they can create more income. 2. I am not doing things that feel hard or sticky, or out of desperation to just make money and 'hit my goals'. I am going to do more of what feels GOOD! 3. I am not putting unrealistic expectations on myself. I am accepting that as long as I am showing up and delivering value and creating an impact for my people that I am doing my job and the money will follow.
I am using these two journal prompts to help me reaffirm to myself that I am on the right path and acting in alignment to my values.1. How did I show up and make an impact today? 2. What value did I deliver to my community today?
If you want to have more fun and do more of what you love while creating more money then I would love for you to come along on this journey with me. What is one thing you can commit to doing differently in your business right now!? Until next week, ZoeXx
And we are back!! I had a small hiatus at the end of last year to give myself some space to get things back into alignment but I am fresh and rested and raring to go! Just like that, we have welcomed in a brand new year, a fresh start and a chance to set our intentions and goals for the year (which is my absolute favourite thing to do!). So that is what prompted the inspiration for this first episode back of The Inspired By Her podcast. I am trying a few new things this year to achieve my ultimate goal of doing less.So alot of these episodes will be audio clips from lives I am doing in my FB Group (which you can join here) as I am all about showing up for the ladies inside there this year and delivering massive value! This year I am calling in more ease. I am done with doing all the things. I am choosing to say no more and hell yes to only those things that align with me, my values and my intentions. I am saying a big hell yes to making ME a priority this year so I can give more to those around me (you can’t give from an empty cup #1 big learning from 2020!) I am choosing more fun and less hustle. I am choosing to do less but deliver more. This year my intention is ALIGNMENT and I am so fired up and ready to get stuck into making this happen.I hope you enjoy this episode and I would love to know what are you choosing to do more of this year?
This one is a goodie ladies! Overwhelm and a general feeling of being busy are such common thoughts and feelings for us ladies in biz. They become our normal right!? But what can you do to reduce these feelings when things get all too much!? We are the creators or our reality which means we are creating these problems for ourselves. But that means we have the power to create the solutions too! I have shared 5 simple ways to help you reduce the feelings of overwhelm around your ever growing to-do list and I share it this week after I was feeling totally overwhelmed at everything I needed to get done this week and realised I needed to change something NOW! I hope you enjoy. I would love to know what your biggest takeaway was from this episode!? Got a friend who you think needs to hear this? Why not share it with them and help spread inspiration and success with your biz besties!? Until next week! Zoe Xx
This week on the Inspired By Her I am chatting with Molly Elmer who is a side hustle coach and mentors millennials to launch online side-hustles - without needing to quit their full time job.I am all about the juggle over here - I am juggling business, part time work, 2 small kids and a husband plus all the other things that life throws at us. This weeks episode it short and sweet - stop ignoring your money! Start showing it some gratitude, nurture it and give it a bit of love. When was the last time you stopped to really think about your relationship with money? Are you still burying your head in the sand and ignoring your money, yet expecting it to nurture and support you!?If you aren't showing respect and gratitude for the money you have then you cannot expect more to flow to you! So my tip for you this week is to:1. Sit down and think about what your habits are when it comes to spending, investing, saving, paying bills and debt? What are you avoiding? What are you doing that isn't serving you?2. Show gratitude for the money you have - check your accounts weekly, pay your bills on time, be intentional with your spending3. Set a weekly money date to show your money some loveLet me know what you discover when you start to dive into this!Xx
What do your thoughts and mindset have to do with running a successful business? The answer is everything! You could have the best strategy in the world but if you don't have positive and abundant beliefs and mindset than you may find you won't get the results you want. We are the creators of our own reality through the beliefs we have and the thoughts we think. These determine what we take action on and what we filter our reality for. There is a quote by Henry Ford which sums this up nicely - "Whether you think you can or can't, you are right.". So By changing your thoughts you are then changing the narrative or story of your life, which is so powerful! Today on the podcast I am talking about just 3 of the money stories that are sabotaging your success. There are so many different limiting beliefs and stories that you may have (even if you don't realise). The first step to rewriting these is to acknowledge them and get curious about them. So if these resonated with you, what is one thing you can commit to today to change this narrative for yourself?

Confidence is state and we hold the power to choose in a moment to feel confident or not. Confidence is about trusting yourself and having your own back so that even when things don't go to plan you pick yourself up and try again without beating yourself. It's about being okay with making mistakes and failing occasionally but still loving and accepting yourself.
The decision to turn your passion or hobby into a proper business can be scary and there is alot to consider. This week on the Inpired By Her Podcast I am chatting with Ros Gervay about her story in turning her passion for art into the business she has today Ros Gervay Creative. Ros is open about the ups and downs of the road to building a business and the road is often not a linear one but has plenty of detours along the way. This is such an inspiring and fun chat! About Ros: I am an Australian abstract artist based in Sydney Australia with a passion for all things art, creativity and design. I have always been interested in the creative arts. When I was in high school, I wanted to be an artist but was led towards studying Design at Art College and became an interior designer. After moving into corporate real estate, I found myself further and further from hands-on creativity and self-expression. I left my job to get a Masters in Teaching and today I work part-time as a teacher whilst building my art business. The turning point that resulted in me fully committing to my professional art career was my young children. My two beautiful girls helped me to see that I needed a means for expressing myself and regaining my identity and self-confidence. Being in the soul-enriching space of art and creativity has brought me great peace - my art practice and art business have me constantly problem-solving and I love every second of it. This week on the podcast I am chatting with Caroline Partridge from the Social Strategy Mum. Do you focus on the number of followers you have but forget about creating valuable content for your audience? What about, have you ever launched something that failed so you gave up on the offer and completely started from scratch. Then this episode is for you! There are so many moving parts to social media and marketing and alot of the time we are flying blind! In this episode Caroline shares some really valuable gems about how to build a profitable business with a small but engaged audience and also shares some secrets around why your launch never actually failed! We talk about how you don't need a huge audience on social media to create a profitable business. A small but engage audience is much more powerful than a large un-engaged audience, yet often we focus on the numbers of followers we have but we aren't looking at the value of our content. If your content sucks and doesn't provide benefit and value to your audience, even if you do have a huge audience they still won't buy from you. We also talk about launch strategy because this is a huge pain point for a lot of ladies. Launching doesn't need to complicated, and no launch is ever a failure. If your launch doesn't go the way you intended, it just means you have been able to learn the lessons you needed to in order to tweak your launch strategy and launch it again. And let's be clear - your first launch will most likely suck! So don't give up, get up and try again. This episode is jam packed with so much information from Caroline, you will want to get a pen and paper ready for this one! If you have been following along at home you may have seen that last week I completed my NLP and Time Line Therapy Practitioner training. It was an intense 7 days but I have walked away with some very cool tools to be able to help my clients shift their limiting beliefs and negative emotions around money. There are only 2 things in life that stop us from achieving what we want. 1. We have a limiting belief 2. We aren't taking action
In this episode I share 4 ways you can start to overcome both of these to start create a new reality for yourself and build the life you truly desire. I have four introductory 1 on 1 sessions available right now to celebrate this new milestone. So if you would like to know more about these you can either send me an email (zoe@thenumbershub.com.au) or book in a 15 minute discovery call here https://calendly.com/the-numbers-hub/15min. I really hope you enjoy this episode as much as I did creating it for you. Until next week, Zoe Xx

I get a little bit personal in this weeks episode as I share a reflection on the month of June and how I didn't achieve my goals I set. We tend to see everyone celebrating their wins and success but failure is something that doesn't get spoken about a lot and it can be a little uncomfortable. I have shared a reflection on what I learnt from not achieving my goals and what I did to pull myself out of the disappointment of feeling like a failure. Hopefully there is something I have shared that resonated with you! If you loved today's episode I would love for you to share this episode with one person who you think also might need to hear this message.
This week on The Inspired by Her Podcast I am joined by Hollie Barac from MayDay VA who is the absolute queen of organisation in business! Hollie talks to us about the journey she has taken to get to where she is now and how each of the different turning points in her life have resulted in the business she has created today. Hollie has just recently pivoted her business and achieved her goals way ahead of schedule - which is incredible! She shares with us some of her wisdom on how she got to achieve this. This is one inspiring episode about how the journey to success isn't always straight forward and doesn't always go the way we envision. It is a true reminder that life is not always about the destination but the journey that we take to get there. Grab yourself a tea, coffee, wine - whatever your drink of choice is and snuggle in for this amazing, inspiring episode.
The day this episode is released is the 1st day of the new financial year! There is something about this that makes me feel like it's a bit of a fresh start, like we can clean the slate and start new! So I thought it would be timely to talk about setting financial goals for the financial year ahead. We can easily get caught up in the day to day running of our businesses that we don't make this a priority, but if you really want to uplevel and grow your business you need to start making time to work on your business and not just in it. Setting a goal give you something to focus on and you will start to notice you change your actions and behaviours to those that are moving you close to your goal, you stop wasting time on the 'white noise' and those unimportant tasks that aren't aligned with your vision. I'd love to hear your thoughts on todays episodes! If you love this podcast I would so appreciate if you subscribed to help me share my message with more women to create inspiration and success! Until next week, Zoe Xx
If you are anything like me, you find it extremely difficult to turn your business brain off and you come up with brilliant ideas at the worst possible time (in the shower, in the middle of the night, while you are out walking the dog). You probably have so many ideas floating around that it can feel a bit overwhelming right? And because there are so many of them, you don't know where to start in turning any of them into actual achievements. Well today on the podcast I have the wonderful, Michelle, from Laptops and Lattes joining me to talk you through why your ideas aren't a creative curse (even though they might feel like it) and some simple tips to take them from an idea to an achievement. Michelle is the founder of an amazing community for service based women on Facebook, Laptops and Lattes which you can find out about here. https://www.facebook.com/groups/laptopsandlattes If you want to know more about Michelle and what she's all about here are the links to find her: Instagram - https://www.instagram.com/laptops_and_lattes/Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/laptopsandlattes/Website - https://www.laptopsandlattes.com.au/ If you loved today's episode I would be so grateful if you subscribed and left a review so I can get into the ears of more incredible women. Until next week. ZoeXx
This week on the podcast I tell you a bit about my story and how I came to create this podcast. I had a light bulb moment not that long ago that made me see I was not choosing to take actions that made me feel incredible and amazing. I was waking up each day waiting for things to happen but I wasn't putting in an ounce of effort to make them happen. Once I realised what I was doing I started to choose to take action so I could show up as my best self. I set my intention each morning on how I want to show up and how I want to feel, and I choose to take the actions that will make be feel INCREDIBLE. You get to decide the actions you take each day! So if you don't like how something is making you feel than you have the power to change it. Start questioning why you are feeling the way you do, what is causing you to feel like that. And if you don't like it than you my love, have the power to change it. I hope you loved today's episode and if you did I would love if you shared it with just one person who you think might also love to listen. Until next week. Zoe Xx
