In this episode with Rabbi Leib Chaim we discuss what happens when we continuously choose unhealthy patterns and feel powerless against breaking out of them. Whether it's with unwise decisions towards finances, relationships or even our diets, it seems that our emotions always take center stage with reactive dramatics, Rabbi Leib and I discuss how we overcome our emotions and feelings by using our consciousness and intellect to choose better for ourselves.

In this episode with one of my favorites - Rabbi Leib Chaim we go into the topic of learning how to find your unique path in life that lives in accordance to your authenticity by finding a way to be needed by others and God. We delve deep into how exactly we obtain a life of TRUE fulfillment and happiness. We uncover why it is that we are called to live a life as unique as us and how to cultivate the courage in finding one's own path in the world. Being NEEDED by others, being NEEDED by God to share our gifts and our light with the world is why we are here... tune in to hear how we access that.
Each one of us are called into step into our greater selves, this is our calling. When we step outside of ourselves and think about what we have to offer and how we can give to the world, we evolve into a more holistically aligned life for ourselves. Rabbi Leib Chaim is one of those rare people you meant every now and then who truly lives from his soul and is one of the happiest, most insightful people around.
Rabbi Leib Chaim is a Chabbad Rabbi living in Israel with his family teaching Jewish mystical truths to his community in which he serves. In my visit to his home he shares the true meaning of our lives and that our happiness in life is reliant on our shift in perspective from focusing on fulfilling our own needs and instead to how we can serve our community and meet a higher purpose.

This episode is filled with one of my most inspiring friends who I am honored to know - Omad Shakur. In this episode we discuss Omad's childhood in Sudan, encountering unimaginable hardship of being taken from his family, running away from a Sudanese boarding school and becoming homeless all before the age of 10. Omad reminisces on how he was able to be reunited with his family and restart his life afterwards. My greatest admiration of Omad that I think is clearly shown in this episode is how he has taken these hardships and used them to strengthen his heart, soul and character. We cover the lessons learned through such tribulations and how they can be the stepping stone for our own development.

I am so proud to introduce the podcast and its first guest- Rabbi Michael Cohen where we use Jewish spiritual tools to talk about purpose, turning weaknesses into strength, and how inner peace/conflict is being mirrored in our external world. Kabbalah, ancient Jewish mysticism, uses the word 'yeud' to describe one's purpose and Rabbi Michael and I discuss the internal access point into finding those answers. Rabbi Michael shares his beautiful personal stories of tying together his own passions of environmental leadership, peace and conflict resolution amidst the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. He is a fabulous teacher who uses such potent words to carry strong messages and it is my hope he gives value to you as you listen. As always, keep an openness when you listen to this content, and I guarantee you'll always leave with something out of it.If you enjoyed this episode (I mean it's the first episode), or are intrigued by the mission of SoulKissed, feel free to follow, rate, subscribe, leave a review and share the storytelling with a loved one. The Nickelodeon show that is now streaming on Netflix: "Avatar: The Last Airbender" is a show that reaches far beyond simple plots and morals from other children shows. Children, Adults, Westerners and Eastern Philosophers alike find many vital life teachings in the show through beautifully complex and relatable characters. In honor of Avatar reaching Netflix and tugging at my heartstrings all over again, I am starting a series on the SoulKissed platforms sharing the lessons I find while revisiting memory lane.
In this episode we explore the sacred relationship between death and beginings and the art of letting go. In great teachings of both Taoism and Zen Buddhist Spirituality both taught in the show, letting go of fear and the past are challenges that are essential in overcoming in order to reach mental clarity and emotional balance.
We examine the characters in the beginning of their journey and observe how they were able to dive into their destinies with full power and focus through letting go of their past and releasing fear properly.

So many people in this world including myself and my friends are having plans change unexpectedly, we're losing jobs and nose-diving into times of complete uncertainty and instability.
In Today's episode I give the same word of advice I gave to my friend who has been experiencing extreme anxiety and depression over this quarantine situation from the Coronavirus (COVID-19), not having a job lined up and asking all the big questions like: "what do I want to manifest into my life?" and I am hoping it can help someone else who needs to hear it:) We have to learn how to embrace all the uncertainty, it's part of the collective's spiritual journey and we are in a process of shedding the old that never served us so that we can WAKE UP and realize we are CREATORS of our own reality! What do you want to manifest in this life? Now is the time to ponder these questions.
don't forget: its in the emptiness that everything is born

I talk with Rabbi Michael about growing up dyslexic in a time before dyslexia was even known to the general public in the way it is today. We dive into the mindset he had when teaching himself how to write and spell properly and the significant lesson he learned from consistently committing to turning his perceived weakness into newfound strength.

Hey Guys!
Today we're just going to have a really chill conversation with one of my good friends who also spent a long time abroad and was completely changed from it. Over a couple of drinks, we shared and bonded over the difficulty that exists in reintroducing your better self back home and how to marry the two sides. One of the most important challenges we will ever face will be reinforcing our evolved selves back into a back where that may not be so easy to do. Join us in this super casual, super not sober conversation.
