Hello My Listeners!
Welcome to Episode 10. - Pour Into Someone
It is the final episode of Season 10!
I am so grateful to God and everyone who has been listening from the beginning of the season right unto now. I cannot Thank you enough for the feedback, comments, encouragement and prayers.
Today I want to share about pouring into someone. We all have a light in us that the world needs to see but this journey makes us hide that light and stay in the place of doubt, shame, sorrow and regret. You are more than just a person to have children, you are much more!
So, I want to encourage us to pour that light into someone today, this season, this period… Pouring doesn’t have to be just monetary, it could be a smile, a wave, a compliment to someone else that puts a smile on their face (I know you need that smile on your face too but imagine being able to just move beyond your feelings and do just that). It is not the magnitude that is important but the genuinity and simplicity of that act. The happiness it will stir up inside of you will be unexplanable.
We are all tied to each other's stories one way or the other. I to you and you to me and someone else. We have other areas in our lives that are flourishing and someone might just need a word of advice from you too, give it freely, this is also an act of pouring into someone else.
I pray that God will give you the strength to pour and receive the goodness that comes from it. I would love to say this “ You are a Christmas closer to seeing your children”
I love you and God loves you even more.

Welcome to Episode 9. - Trust God Completely
Hello My Listeners!
What is trust? Trust is the firm belief in a person or something or its ability.
How much do you trust God? The answer might be completely, it used to be my answer too until God told me how I didn’t. And it was true because I trusted Him in every other area except when it came to infertility and believing that He would give me a child. I believe Him for every other aspect of my life except this one.
I remember sometime recently we were having a chat and He told me that I didn’t trust Him completely. I had put having a child in a section where I believed I had to do this myself. That day I repented that day and asked the Holy Spirit to help me. And he has been helping me ever since then. He can help you too, you just have to believe and take yourself or any man out of the equation and watch Him do wonders.
One day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day, you can find this in 2 Peter 3:8. I will wait for Him no matter how long it may seem to me because I believe He has done it and it will be made manifest.
I pray that the Holy Spirit will give you the strength to yield and lay it all down and trust Him completely.
I love you and God loves you even more.

Hello My Listeners!
Welcome to Episode 8. - Accept & Lay it Down
In this Episode, we look at Hannah at Shiloh. The encounter she had with God when she acknowledged that only God could give her the child she prayed for and laying down all depression, worry and embarrassment. She dedicated Samuel to God to serve Him. She understood that God would do it and that it was not about her, it was about God.
Children are a heritage and a gift from God. She came to the understanding that this child is God's and not mine and she had to lay down all selfishness.
Samuel is still talked about today because He was destined to be a prophet. The children God wants to give to us are kings, queens, princes and princesses but can God trust us to dedicate to Him and lead them in the way of the Lord?
Read 1 Samuel 9 again and see the encounter and ask God for that encounter Hannah had with Him.
No matter how long it might seem in our eyes. He is never late and He is always ON TIME.

Fighting through the storm is like pushing through a mountain literally. We have come from accepting that it is okay to not be okay, to grieve over the loss, know yourself in Christ, love yourself, be happy and live in the moment! Even after all these the storm still comes but you have to face it and fight it to remain happy. Infertility is a journey and not a final destination. A journey because you will get to the place of having your children. During my fighting through the storm moments, one thing kept me going and it was knowing God was always with me because He told me not to be afraid. Psalm 28:7 AMP “The Lord is my strength and my (impenetrable) shield; my heart trusts (with unwavering confidence) in Him, and I am helped; Therefore my heart greatly rejoices, and with my song I shall thank Him and praise Him”.Psalm 56:3 ESV “When I am afraid, I put my trust in you”.Isaiah 41:13 ESV ‘For I, the Lord your God, hold your right hand; it is I who say to you, “Fear not, I am the one who helps you”.These scriptures will give you the assurance of God’s faithfulness. He is an “impenetrable shield” nothing can get in! So when you stay in God, you can face the storm head on and out at the other side stronger, victorious and happy.I saw an instagram reel that spoke about the metaphor of the cow and the buffalo. They both sense the storm coming but the cow runs away and the buffalo runs into the storm! The cow gets tired and exhausted, because the storm caught up with it remains in the storm longer than it should, and ends up miserable and guilty. But the buffalo on the other hand, after facing the initial terrifying fear, comes out of the storm appreciating the water and grass that it bought with it. Who have you been, the cow or the buffalo?Who would you rather be now, the cow or the buffalo? If you have any questions, contributions or comments, please send an email to happillywaiting@gmail.comGod bless you as you listen.Thank you.
Live in the MomentWhen you wake up in the morning, do you stop to appreciate the sound of nature? I know a number of us in this part of the whole world would say with all the loud generator sounds, vehicular movements and the hustle and bustle of the early morning, how is that possible? There is beauty, peace, clarity in embracing a moment. We ignore the moment of bliss and dwell on all the activities and negativity. I remembered our 4th anniversary, hubby made so much effort to get us to have a staycation at a beach. There was the boat cruise to the beach, food, salt water, moist air and a whole lot of freshness. I was excited or so I thought. At the end of that day, instead of continuing to embrace and live that moment of peace, intimacy and love, I settled for my frustrations of what wasn’t and I ruined what could have been a perfect day. The drive home was bad, I said harsh words and somewhat made him feel guilty for us having a good time. In my head, it was wrong, selfish and bad for us to enjoy how far we have come and all we have accomplished even without children. That was not the only time, it was many times…Then God took me on a journey of appreciating every single moment. I will love us to read 1 Corinthians 7:17-35 MSG, emphases on vs 17 and vs 32-35.Life might not be the party we hope for but we can choose to dance no matter what!Live in the moments, love your spouse, enjoy life! It is worth living. If you have any questions, contributions or comments, please send an email to happillywaiting@gmail.comGod bless you as you listen.Thank you.
Be HappyWhat does the word “Happy” mean to you?I posted this on my status and someone responded saying; "Peace of mind, contentment, serenity and most of all, knowing the Almighty has got me!” Dealing with infertility can be a difficult and emotional journey. However, it's important to remember that happiness is still possible. Contentment seems far-fetched also but I would love to say that you have the strength to push through and be Happy! Try to find joy in small moments or seek support from loved ones, focusing on the positive aspects of life can bring happiness even during challenging times. It's also important to prioritize self-care and seek professional help if needed, as taking care of one's mental and emotional wellbeing is crucial. Remember that every woman's journey is unique and that it's okay to take the time needed to process and cope with infertility. With time, patience, and support, happiness can still be found in life, even amidst the struggles of infertility. If you have any questions, contributions or comments, please send an email to happillywaiting@gmail.comGod bless you as you listen.Thank you.
Dealing with infertility is a very difficult experience. Some will say horrible even terrible and everyone is right. This is because women face different challenges. - "The sadness and grief it brings are incomprehensible, only those who have been there will comprehend!" - A woman who has overcome this challenge. We all can, but it takes commitment and persistence and community. I remember how much hurt, hate, resentment, pain and sorrow I carried around in those days. It was so unhealthy that it extended to everyone; my spouse, siblings, friends, colleagues etc. I didn't like myself because medical reports said I couldn't have a child naturally. I later discovered the level of resentment, dislike and hate I felt towards myself. I had to learn to speak positive affirmations and love to myself. I learned to fall in love with myself again! You can love yourself again, through scars, medical reports, being overweight and whatever makes you dislike yourself.Look at yourself in the mirror today and say (insert your name).I LOVE YOUI AM ENOUGHI AM GORGEOUS AND BEAUTIFULI LOVE THIS BODY OF MINEIf you have questions, contributions or comments, need to talk, rant, or want to join a community, please send an email to happillywaiting@gmail.comGod bless you as you listen.Thank you.
Hello My Listeners!Welcome to Episode 3. - Know Yourself in ChristHow do you know who I am in Christ?Who does God say I am?When a couple has not had children after years of marriage, spouse, relatives, colleagues begin to call the woman/wife names like; Barren, Infertile, worthless, and even call her a man. It is very easy to accept these labels after a while and begin to exhibit them in others/every area of life, this happened to me. I accepted the labels so much I began to see myself in that light. Until one day I read this scripture, Matthew 6:33 “But seek ye first his kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” I had read and quoted it for years but that fateful day it sounded different, it ministered to me in a different way. Seeking God meant knowing Him and if I knew Him, He would tell me who I am. Unlike in the past, this time I joined a community (invited by a Friend and Sister) and I learnt to hear God myself and then know who I was. This was my transformation! I read the bible and then got scriptures on fertility and began to quote, recite them everyday because I needed to clear out the negative labels I have heard and accepted for so many years. I will share a few with you;Psalm 113:9 “He settles the childless woman in her home as a happy mother of children. Praise the LORD.”Deuteronomy 7:14 “You shall be blessed above all peoples. There shall not be male or female barren among you or among your livestock.”Psalm 128:3 “Your wife will be like a fruitful vine within your house; your children will be like olive shoots around your table.”Judges 13:2-3 “There was a certain man of Zorah, of the family of the Danites, whose name was Manoah; and his wife was barren and had borne no children. Then the angel of the LORD appeared to the woman and said to her, “Behold now, you are barren and have borne no children, but you shall conceive and give birth to a son.”I pray that the Holy Spirit will guide you to the scriptures that you need in this season and will resonate with you in Jesus’s name. Amen If you have any questions, contributions or comments, please send an email to happillywaiting@gmail.comGod bless you as you listen.Thank you.
Hello my Listeners,Episode 2: It's Okay To Grief for What Should Have BeenGrief is a response to loss, particularly to the loss of someone or some living thing that has died, to which a bond or affection was formed or response to a major loss such as the death of a loved one, serious, long term terminal illness. It includes feelings of great sadness, anger, guilt and despair. There are five stages of grief; Denial, Anger, Bargaining, Depression and Acceptance. Most times these stages are not experienced in a linear motion or we don't go through all the stages. The one stage I focused on more in this episode is "Acceptance", accepting that what should have been, did not come to pass.It is not easy to get to the place of acceptance because it reaps out your heart and makes it feel like salt is being poured on a fresh wound. It HURTS!Acceptance does not meet, we get over the feeling of loss, disappointment, pain, sorrow, NO. It only helps us to move on, to learn to live again.I felt I had no right to live again because of the guilt and inadequacy I feel in myself and my body. But I found out I was losing on some good moments in life. I pushed everyone away or kept them at arm's length. When I accepted that the out of the procedures were negative, the miscarriage and abortions, I chose to live again for the children that will be conceived and will stay and be born in sound health and call me Mama. The ones that I will play in the garden, beach with and run around the house playing hide and seek. Then I got a scripture to help me through it, Psalms 34:18 AMP; "The Lord is near to the heartbroken, And He saves those who are crushed in spirit" God is a gracious and a glorious God. He has held my hands through this journey. And yes, there are times I still break down but I find that I rise up stronger and more resolved than the last time and Hope just keeps stirring up in my spirit.I pray that the Holy Spirit will enter your hearts and heal your broken hearts and give you the strength to live again Mama.If you have any questions, contributions or comments, please send an email to happillywaiting@gmail.comGod bless you as you listen.Thank you.
Hello My Listeners!Welcome to Episode 1. - It's Okay to Not be OkayI will be sharing how I came to the point where I discovered I was not okay mentally and I needed help.In accepting where I was and reaching out for the help I needed, I learnt self love. Because I had accepted the many negative labels given to me by people and the medical reports, I did not see the effect it had on my mental health, physical well being, career, business and marriage. Everything was dark and I hardly looked forward to positive news. It took coming across a webinar that had to do with dealing with trauma, loss, hurt and abuse that I got to see how down the dark hole and deep into depression I was. I didn't like anything about myself, I didn't see myself as anything/anyone good, fruitful, enough, or whole. But as I could identify I was not okay and it was normal to have low times and understand the root of the emotions, I learnt to address the emotions, love myself and seek God's help in seeing myself through His eyes. I began to speak words of affirmation to myself in the state of 'not okay' to get to 'okay'. Our words are powerful and they are weapons. What you speak over yourself is what you subconsciously become.Say this; I am BeautifulI am WholeI am EnoughI am Fertile I Love Myself. If you have any questions, contributions or comments, please send an email to happillywaiting@gmail.comGod bless you as you listen.Thank you.
