Episode 1 is dedicated to Queen Sono and Blood and Water, the first and second Netfix created South African series. Queen Sono follows Queen, a spy who is determined to find out why and who killed her mother while also fighting crime in Zanzibar, Zimbabwe and Congo. 

Blood and Water revolves around Puleng, a new student at the exclusive high school Parkhurst in Capetown, South Africa. Puleng is trying to find out whether her missing sister may be a fellow student at her school, while navigating friendship and a budding relationship.

We talk about why Puleng should have used google docs for her newspaper article, whether Blood and Water is the South African version of Elite, and whether or not the East African accents in Queen Sono were believable.
