There is a popular church song called These Are The Days Of Elijah. But they're not. They are the days of Jeremiah. Jeremiah was given an unwelcome task. Tell the people of God to repent otherwise God will destroy Jerusalem. However God also told him that they wouldn't listen.
Dr Jeffrey Seif is in the middle of a video teaching series on Jeremiah so Rob caught up with him to talk about the 'weeping prophet' and his relevance to us today. You can watch the series here: https://youtu.be/k29oUfT7UkU
If you think that reaching Jewish people for the Messiah is as easy as saying "Did you know that Yeshua is actually your God?" then you need to watch this podcast.
On this Know My Faith podcast, Rob talks with Wes Taber (www.lifeinmessiah.org) about what we need to know before we start thinking about witnessing to God's chosen people. You can download a free copy of the book Reaching Jewish People for Messiah from this link:
In this episode of Living Well, Alan (www.alandavy.nz) talks to Rob about the difference between being depressed and actual depression - of which there are various types and various triggers. Sometimes being able to make the distinction can begin the path to healing and living well. #livingwell #knowmyfaith
All scripture is important, but when the Bible repeats something we need to take notice. Four times in the New Testament Paul says "...to the Jew first and then to the Greek (gentile)". What does he mean by that?
On this Know My Faith podcast Rob explores this question with Levi Hazen, executive director of Life In Messiah Ministries (www.lifeinmessiah.org). Levi is passionate about the Lord and His Word. He is the host of The TŌV Podcast, a teaching ministry that brings a biblical view of Israel, eschatology, and ministry to Jewish people. You can access the podcast on the website
Many Western Christians are content to sit back and simply wait for the rapture. The Bible prophecies that the world will continue to decline until God says enough, so what is the point of making a fuss?
New Zealand journalist and former broadcaster Mike Bain (www.christianvoicenewzealand.com) says we should be standing up for Godly and biblical values.
In this Know My Faith Podcast, Rob talks with Mike about why Christian men and women should be making their voices heard.
Understanding the Tabernacle is a key to understanding God's holiness and the relationship we now have with Him through the death of the Messiah.
Pastor, Bible teacher and actor, Steve Shermett (www.steveshermett.com) joins Rob once again to look at the wonder of God as displayed in the Tabernacle.
What do we really know about the period of time between 'Good Friday" and Pentecost?
On this Know My Faith podcast Rob talks with Paul Cohen (www.celebratemessiah.com.au) about the Festivals of First Fruits and Unleavened Bread, and the strange time known as "The Counting of the Omer", and looks at their prophetic significance is for us.
Who are the indigenous people of the land of Israel? The Jews or the Palestinians?
In this Know My Faith podcast Rob talks with Sheree Trotter from the Indigenous Coalition For Israel (www.indigenouscoalition.org), about what it means to be indigenous and why indigenous peoples around the world should raise a collective voice in support of Israel.
The Mysteries of Zechariah
In this Know My Faith podcast, Dr Igal German from the Yesod Bible Centre (www.yesodbiblecenter.com) joins Rob to look at the complexity of the Messianic visions in the book of Zechariah and the deeper meaning of the biblical text which is often concealed in the English translation.
On this Know My Faith podcast, Rob is joined again by Perry Trotter (www.evangelicalzionism.com) to talk about something that really shouldn't be an issue for 21st Century Christians but sadly, still is.
Newsflash: Evidence of Natural Selection is NOT evidence for Evolution!
In this 4th episode of 24/6 Rob and Mark James (www.creation.com) discuss the differences between the very scientific and observable phenomenon of natural selection and the completely unscientific and never observed notion of Darwinian evolution, and show how the more we know about our universe, the more our observations confirm the biblical account of creation.
Exactly when (and more importantly, why) did we start trying to make scripture fit with evolutionary theory?
On this episode of 24/6, Mark James from Creation Ministries International (www.creation.com) and Rob talk about the theory of uniformitarianism, which states that everything has always happened at the same speed we observe it happening today and for this reason the earth is 4.5 billion years old. The only problem is, what we observe today (real, observable science) doesn't fit with that theory.
In this Know My Faith podcast, Rob is again joined by Dr Daniel Woodhead (www.scofieldinstitute.org) to talk about the part that gentile believers play in bringing the Jews, as a nation, to Messiah.
In this episode of 24/6 Rob and Mark James from Creation Ministries International (www.creation.com) talk about the 'gap theory' and other ideas people have come up with to try and squeeze millions of years into the biblical text.
In this new teaching series Rob is joined by Mark James from Creation Ministries International (www.creation.com) to look at biblical reasons why we should believe that God created the world in 6 literal 24 hour days. Apart from the fact that modern science is more and more disproving Darwinian evolution, people in the Bible - including Jesus Himself - spoke of the events of Genesis 1-11 as literal history
Are gentiles and Jews under different covenants? And is it a New Covenant? Or a Renewed Covenant?
As we head into the Passover season, Rob is joined again by Mottel Baleston from Messengers Messianic Jewish Outreach of New Jersey (www.messiahnj.org) to talk about some of the incorrect teachings around the New Covenant Jesus signed with His blood that comes from not understanding the scriptures in their entirety.
In this final episode of "Great News...", Lew and Rob explain why the Bible's story of the Creator of the universe redeeming mankind to Himself is the Greatest News of all.
In Jesus Christ there is hope for all.

"Living water"... "I would that you were either hot or cold"... How are we to understand these terms? The best way, of course, is in their cultural and historical context.
In this Know My Faith Podcast Rob talks with Jay McCarl (www.JayMcCarl.com) about more of the terminology the Bible uses which we often misinterpret in our ignorance of 1st Century, Jewish cultural norms, and how knowing the real meaning can enhance our understanding of the Bible and of the Lord.

Imagine if these really are the days preceding the Second Coming of Christ. Too many people look at world events and the few verses they understand, while totally ignoring the fact that Israel has always been the focus of the prophecies. What does our Eschatology (study of End Times) look like when we add in the Israel factor?
In this Know My Faith podcast, Rob talks again with Dr Richard Hill (www.bethyeshualv.org), this time about Israel's place in End Times prophecy. Instead of looking at current events (something Dr Arnold Fruchtenbaum calls 'newspaper exegesis') look at what is happening in and to the land of Israel.
What is the Roman Catholic Church? What do the words ‘Roman’ and ‘Catholic’ mean? What do Roman Catholic people believe? How are their beliefs different to other Christian groups? Do they believe the Bible? Is this the Mother Church of all Churches?
In this episode of Great News..., Lew Meyer examines the history and main teachings of the Roman Catholic Church. He notes key events in its history and when new teachings have been developed. He also explains how a Roman Catholic person can have absolute certainty that they will be in heaven.
You can get copies of the book Great News for Roman Catholics here: https://lifequestresources.co.nz/product-category/great-news-series/
Seventh-day Adventist Churches are found throughout the world. Their television programmes are very popular, not only among Seventh-day Adventists, but with many Christian. Particularly with their focus on End Times. What do Seventh Day Adventists believe that makes them different to more common Christian Churches? Why was their prophetess Ellen G. White discredited? Are they genuine Christians? Are they a cult?
In this episode of Great News..., Lew and Rob look at the history and key teachings of the Seventh-day Adventist Church to answer these questions.
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is by far the largest Mormon group with around 16 million members in 160 countries. Many people consider this group to be just one of many Christian denominations but, as Lew and Rob show, it is not. Far from it.
Not only are the LDS's teachings very different to traditional Christianity as taught in the Bible, they're actually different to what is taught in the Book of Mormon. In this episode of Good News..., Lew and Rob discuss how Mormons can find the freedom and righteousness they desire in the person of the Biblical Jesus Christ.

Most Christians are unaware of the connotations the words 'Christian' and 'evangelism' have for Jewish people.
Phillip Hill (http://philliphill.org) has been teaching gentile believers how to share the Messiah with Jews for many years. He and Rob talk about some of the mistakes we make in our approach. One of the biggest being 'head hunting'. Being more interested in a conversion than a conversation.
Phillip Hill is an international Bible teacher, missionary, evangelist and founder of Wisdom For Living. He holds a masters degree in Biblical Studies from Dallas Theological Seminary and a masters in Middle Eastern Studies from Tel-Aviv University in Israel. He has lived and taught on four continents, including four years in Middle East countries. He also spreads the gospel internationally as a singer-songwriter through https://philliphillmusic.com
Jehovah’s Witnesses of the Watchtower Society persistently knock on our doors and stand in public places to share their message. What do they believe? Is their Jehovah the true God? Who is their Jesus? What is their history? Who are their leaders? Is their Bible trustworthy? How are their teachings different to traditional Christian teachings? Are they allowed to think for themselves?
In this episode of Great News, Rob and Lew present a succinct summary of those beliefs based on Watchtower Bible translations and literature and a loving plea to Witnesses to do a truth-check on what they have been taught and are required to believe.

Christians are often confused about Islam and its teachings. Can Islam be fairly judged by what some Muslims are doing? Muslims are often confused about Christianity and what it means to be a genuine Christian. They have questions.
In this episode of Great News..., Lew explains the basic beliefs of Islam and answers the common questions that Muslims have about what Christians call the gospel or ‘Good News’.

Elements of Buddhist philosophy are quite popular today, yet many do not understand Buddhism. Many Buddhists mix this religion (that came out of early Hinduism) with other traditional folk religions. At its core, Buddhism is an attempt to solve the problem of suffering by a system of denial and emotional disengagement.
In this episode of Great News..., Lew explains the background to Buddhism and its practices, and invites its practitioners to consider a more provable and hopeful set of beliefs.
Copies of the book Great News for Buddhists can be purchased here: https://lifequestresources.co.nz/produ.../great-news-series/
In this episode Rob and Lew present Great News for Sikhs. Sikhs have a profound religion, a set of values to aspire to, and are respected worldwide. Lew highlights the means of 'salvation' in Sikhism and describes the major differences between their belief and the Bible.
In this second episode in our new teaching series "Great News..." we look at what is possibly the world's largest religion and present Great News for Hindus.
Although Hinduism is one of the most widely believed religions in the world, many Hindu people do not really understand their own religion and have never applied truth tests to it.
In the book "Great News For Hindus" Lew describes Hinduism in an easy-to-understand way and explains the origin of Hindu belief and how it has changed in the last 3000 years. Hindus are invited to think logically through their faith and to reconsider the original belief in one God in the oldest Veda. He then explores the predictions of blood sacrifice in the ancient Hindu scriptures, how they have been fulfilled in history, and what that may mean for genuine truth-seekers.

"Great News..." Ep 1 - An Overview
This is first episode in our new teaching series "Great News..." During the series we will look at the world's main religions and cults and present dome great news for their adherents.
In a confusing world with many belief systems claiming to be true, many have rejected real Christianity without having understood it. In this first episode, Lew Meyer and Rob ask the question; Does modern science and our understanding of reality actually support the existence of a supernatural God?

80 years ago, the Friends of Israel Gospel Ministry (www.nzfoi.org) was founded as a compassionate effort to meet the spiritual and physical needs of Jewish people whose lives were displaced and tragically affected by the Holocaust. Since its inception in 1938, the ministry continues to stand against every form of anti-Semitism and support the right of the Jewish people to live in their ancient homeland, Israel.
Additionally, Friends Of Israel actively invests in educating Christians by teaching Scripture that exemplifies why loving the Jewish people and supporting Israel is integral to the Christian faith.
We spoke to New Zealand director Simon Lowry, about being friends with Israel.

In 1 Samuel 16:7 God tells Samuel that His search criteria is different to the world's. He's not looking for those who appear to be the perfect choice, He's looking for people who have a heart after Him. Dorothy Findlay is such a person. Like many missionaries in the past, Dorothy may not have been your first choice to send on the mission field... but she was God's! But she had to fight to do what the Lord called her to. Hers is a fascinating story of being obedient to the call and leaving the results to God. #knowmyfaith

Ever wonder why it is so hard agreeing upon the meaning of some of the most commonly used Biblical words like; “grace”, or “freedom” or even “truth” to a Hebrew Roots Movement (HRM) or Torah observant Messianic member? It’s like the person doesn’t even speak your language! In fact, you are mostly right in that assumption. Their incomprehension of Biblical word meanings is due to the age old psychological ploy of “redefining words”, or in modern jargon “flipping words”. This bit of linguistic deceit has been practiced since ancient times and has recently been successfully adopted by the “Political Left” and not so surprisingly “religious cults”.

Why do Christians continue to believe in something for which there is no evidence? Science has proven over and over again that evolution is impossible, and yet some Christians still want to include millions and billions of years into God's account of creation. Meet Michael Cook, an electrical engineer who uses science to refute Darwin’s theory of Evolution and show, again using science, that the Bible can be trusted on all accounts.
