The aprons are back on and the chaos continues as Lisa and Allison return for a second helping of Comic Relief baking antics. This follow-up special serves up everything we love about celebrity baking episodes: ambitious ideas, unpredictable execution, and the kind of joyful energy that reminds everyone not to take the crumb count too seriously.

Equal parts recap, commentary, and cozy baking chat, this episode leans into the fun while appreciating the heart behind the special.
Lighthearted, warm, and generously frosted with opinions, this episode proves once again that baking for a good cause is even better when paired with laughter and a healthy tolerance for uneven layers. âšđ°

Things get delightfully unhinged as Lisa and Allison dive into a Comic Relief baking special packed with big personalities, chaotic energy, and bakes that range from surprisingly impressive to gloriously questionable. With celebrities in the kitchen and good causes at the heart of the episode, this one delivers laughs almost as often as the oven disasters.
The Girls savor the playful spirit of the episode, celebrating the moments where enthusiasm triumphs over technique â and lovingly calling out the creations that may have looked better in theory than in practice. Between the comedic timing, ambitious decorating choices, and inevitable baking mishaps, thereâs no shortage of joyful chaos to unpack.
Warm, witty, and wonderfully unserious, this episode is a reminder that sometimes the best baking television comes from people having fun, making a mess, and trying their absolute best anyway. So grab a treat and settle in for a special thatâs equal parts comedy, comfort, and buttercream. đâš

Things get extra sweet (and delightfully unpredictable) as Lisa and Allison turn their attention to the world of junior bakers in this charming Kids Bake Offâinspired episode. With smaller hands and big imaginations at work, the stakes may be lower â but the creativity is sky-high.
Lisa and Allison revel in the joyful chaos that only kid-led baking can deliver, from wildly ambitious ideas to decorating choices that follow absolutely no rules (and thatâs exactly the point). Thereâs plenty of laughter, aww-worthy moments, and genuine admiration for the confidence and creativity these young bakers bring to the table.
Lighthearted, heartwarming, and just a little bit chaotic, this episode is a reminder that baking is supposed to be fun â even if it gets messy along the way. So grab a sprinkle-covered treat and settle in for an episode thatâs as wholesome as it is entertaining. đâš

With Martha in the mix, the episode brings an extra helping of warmth, wit, and just enough motherly perspective to keep the scares charming instead of chilling.
Together, they dig into bakes that aim to startle, surprise, and maybe wobble a little under pressure. From bold flavor swings to decorative risks that toe the line between festive and frightful, the trio savor the creativity, clock the near-misses, and share plenty of laughter along the way.
Itâs spooky in theme but cozy at heart â a multigenerational baking chat filled with playful critique, sweet nostalgia, and the kind of joyful chaos that makes themed episodes so much fun. In this heartfelt special edition episode, Lisa and Allison raise a (theoretical) glass to Prue as they reflect on her legacy, charm, and deliciously sharp judging eye. Equal parts celebration and gentle send-off, the Girls revisit what made Prue such a beloved presence in the Bake Off universe â her warmth, her wisdom, and her unapologetic love of good food.
With their signature mix of humor and affection, Lisa and Allison reminisce about standout Prue moments, memorable bakes, and the way she shaped the tentâs tone over the years. There are laughs, a few sentimental beats, and plenty of playful âarmchair judgingâ along the way.
Cozy, conversational, and just a little bittersweet, this episode feels like a proper farewell tea: sweet, thoughtful, and sprinkled with gratitude â plus a generous dollop of butter for good measure. đ

The Soggy Bottom Girls are tying a (slightly lopsided) bow on another season of delicious chaos â but first, they need a song. Or⊠any song. As Allison and Lisa debate their options, Allison casually drops a bombshell about possible Jasmine controversy?! đ
Lisa, ever the voice of reason, breaks down the bakersâ true strengths. Meanwhile, Allison? Sheâs breaking down Aaronâs blouse. Thoroughly. And with great enthusiasm.
This weekâs signature is all about hot dog buns, which naturally sends the girls into a spirited stroll down Hot Dog Memory Lane. They marvel at Tomâs illusion finger buns (yes, theyâre exactly as wild as they sound), and then immediately pivot into a full-on Madeleine Meltdownâą over whether Jasmine shouldâve already known how to make one. Did she cheat? Allison has thoughts. Many thoughts.
The âenormousâ final challenge has both girls swooning over Tomâs talent â and honestly? Theyâre pretty sure he was robbed. But the true cherry on top? The heartwarming, post-season reunion footage of the bakers. Lisa brings it up; Allison weeps agreeably.
Itâs the last episode of the season, and the Soggy Bottom Girls are going out the only way they know how: laughing, ranting, overanalyzing pastries, and maybe starting a tiny controversy. Tune in! đ©đ

Itâs Patisserie Week on The Soggy Bottom Girls, and the innuendos are rising faster than choux pastry in a hot oven! Lisa boldly declares her love for cream horns (yes, sheâs eaten one), while Allison wonders if theyâre simply too faffy for the average baker. The girls sift through Jasmineâs repetitive flavors, debate her soulless bakes, and side-eye her first-place finish in the technical.
When it comes to the macaron showstopper, Lisaâs thrown in the piping bag, but Allisonâs swooning over their adorable potential. With Tomâs chocolate beehive abuzz with brilliance, the girls speculate if heâs about to clinch bake-off glory. Faffery, flavor drama, and plenty of pastry punsâthis episode is as rich as a crĂšme diplomat!

Itâs Dessert Week in the tent, and The Soggy Bottom Girls are serving up some seriously sweet (and slightly scandalous) opinions. Lisa and Allison dive into the mystery of the Basque bake â and after a few âwhy would you?â moments, they unanimously bin Tomâs black-as-night creation. A steamy bain-marie debate bubbles up next, with both hosts declaring it more trouble than itâs worth.
When the gluten-free pudding technical rolls around, Allisonâs war on oranges continues, while Lisa questions the timing (and the taste appeal) of a gluten-free dessert challenge. Finally, the girls tackle the towering trifle showstopper, sparking memories of 90âs wedding gifts and questionable jelly layers. Tune in for laughs, light roasting, and the crowning of another Star Baker â because this week, itâs all about keeping your custard in line and your trifle standing tall.

From chestnut mysteries to passion fruit obsessions, they mix in plenty of laughter, Bake Off lore (BinGate returns!), and a full-on Barry Manilow detour that somehow makes perfect sense. Itâs pillowy, itâs faffy, itâs fabulousâand definitely one for the sweet tooth and the nostalgia lover alike.

Itâs Pastry Week in the tent, which means laminated layers, questionable butter strategies, and at least one soggy bottom. Allison and Lisa roll out their thoughts on the seven sacred pastries (and the eighth, Pillsbury Crescent, obviously), while investigating Tobyâs neck beard, Nataliaâs giant collar, and whether Prue secretly runs an accessories empire.
The gals debate the merits of tofu pies, gooseberries, and pork-filled mystery tubes from the â80s, all while cheering on Jasmineâs pastry hat trick and mourning Nataliaâs polite farewell. From sculpted tarts to hot water crusts, this week proves once and for all: flakiness isnât just for pastryâitâs a lifestyle.

Itâs Chocolate Week on The Soggy Bottom Girls, and things are getting decadent! Lisa and Allison swoon over the adorable mini mousse creations that could pass for fancy cafĂ© drinks, while Lisa treats us to a nostalgic 90s-style jingle for NestlĂ© chocolate. The girls canât help but raise eyebrows at Aaronâs melted mousse mishap, and debate whether mousse should ever look like pudding.
In the technical challenge, Allison applauds the blind judging for bringing a rare moment of fairness to the tent, leveling the playing field. Pantry doughs come up in conversation as the girls discuss the importance of having a go-to pastry base, and they both agree: fruit tarts are white chocolateâs best friend.
The fondue showstopper brings on a flurry of chocolate fountain chatter (cue the fondue puns), and the girls wrap things up with high praise for Alison Hammond, who continues to shine as a delightful partner for Noel.

The classroom is open and the girls are back in session! With Allison out for the week, Lisa welcomes special guest and honorary Soggy Bottom Girl, Emmaâa British baker living in Pittsburgh whoâs here to decode the mystery of Back to School Week on The Great British Bake Off.
From flapjacks that arenât pancakes to school fĂȘtes (yes, thatâs pronounced âfateâ) that involve coconuts and queens, this episode is a deep dive into British school traditions that had Lisa more confused than a Bake Off contestant without a proving drawer. Emma breaks down the brilliance of golden syrup, the chewy magic of a classic traybake, and why British school cake comes slathered in custardânot frosting.
The two swap stories about school snacks, fundraiser fatigue, homemade sprinkles (yep, weâve made them!), and the cultural differences that had Americans asking: âWhat even is a flapjack?!â

Itâs Bread Week, and the Soggy Bottom Girls are rising to the occasion! Lisa and Allison kick things off by revealing their favorite âtear and shareâ bakes before diving into the bakersâ signature challenge â and those wildly over-the-top ingredient choices (truffle oil? Really?).
Things heat up as they unpack the technical: doughnuts. Is it even baking? The girls arenât convinced. Lisa takes a nostalgic detour with stories of her âFry Daddyâ childhood and sweet Sunday mornings with her dad. Meanwhile, Allison lets loose on the never-ending stream of baker backstories â how emotional should a cruffin be?
They also chew on the growing trend of needing a heartfelt tale to pair with every recipe, lament the suspicious lack of âballâ jokes in this bread-filled episode, and toast to the joyful, fabulous presence of co-host, Alison Hammond.
Warm, spicy, and maybe just a little bit underproved â this episode is a snack you donât want to miss!

Lisa states that biscuit week is her favorite, and the girls go back and forth about the biscuit/cookie difference. Allison and Lisa discuss the difficulty level of the signature bake, and both girls praise Jessika's sliced bacon and egg cookie slices. When the perfect hobnob presents itself as the technical, Lisa believes that she could do this challenge, especially given her skills in carmel making.
Allison questions whether or not the bakers are truly given NO instruction for technicals, and, Lisa shares a social media post about understanding the ratios in certain baked goods, insisting the knowledge of such could make you successful without a recipe. Lisa and Allison get into yet another "jump the shark" discussion about this week's showstopper. However, they are quick to praise the major accomplishments of bakers Jessika and Pui man. Lisa states that the Poy man's "JUMBO boat time capsule is on par with Paul's season 6 bread lion from season 6. The girls finish the episode off-track and off topic in their very charming and familiar way.

Allison mentions the oddity of facts mentioned in the voice overs, and Lisa praises the return of Alison Hammond as co-host. The girls tackle another one-off with a celebrity charity bake off - benefitting Stand Up to Cancer. The cast of the Derry Girls square off with a signature trifle. Lisa and Allison introduce the cast and their acting credits, Allison remarks that Dylan was the weakest baker of the episode. Both girls agree that this may be the funniest episode either had ever seen. Lisa remembers receiving a trifle dish for a wedding gift and Alliison mentions never having seen a trifle before becoming an adult. Both girls take issue with Siobhan's addition of jelly, but both agree that Siobhan is hilarious. The belini technical has Allison scoffing at the lack of difficulty in making tiny canape pancakes.
Both Lisa and Allison appreciated the sculpted cake final, and gave props to Dylan despite his use of fondant. The gray fondant 60's decade cake didn't dissuade the judges from awarding star baker to Soirse, and the girls end by foreshadowing their upcoming interview with a former GBBO finalist.

Lisa and Allison both assert their disdain for the mille feulle, and Allison thanks Lisa for catching the chick pea bug. An Austrian torte puts the contestants on even ground, though the girls agree the torte process was torture to watch. The petit four showstopper sparks compliments for the bakers' meringues, especially those with the addition of color. Allison is disdainful of Maryannes's use of "syllabub" and, the award for the best baker is again rejected for appearing "second hand"...

With minimal discussion of the episode's showstoppers, the girls slip down multiple side streets of memories from raising themselves in the 1970's.

Lisa gets very enthusiastic about the very Britishness of this episode. There are lots of cut- aways to Mel and Sue giving the girls lots of side stories to serve.

The girls thoroughly discuss her signature biscuit failures. When baker Miranda finely decorates her vanilla iced biscuits, Allison rememberd to point out the talents of Rahul, and his amazingly detailed bakes on Instagram. Both Lisa and Allison are unimpressed with the plain scone technical, and compare it to the current day challenges of the bake off. In this episode, Mel visits a man who has paid $4,000 for a hard biscuit from a famous exploration of the North Pole. This sends the girls down several side street biscuit discussions.

Bakers celebrate with their signature sausage rolls, and Lisa reminds us all of the American store-bought crescent roll, and pigs in a blanket. The girls discuss sausage and its iterations on American pizza, and share anecdotes of pizzas past. The somewhat strange caterpillar cake technical leads to its brief British history, and thoughts about it being much more representative of a 1970's kid cake.
The bakers are tasked with creating showstoppers that don't include "beige" items. The girls discuss the successes and failures of such a loose themed challenge.

Lisa gives tips and a report on this week's technical challenge of pistachio ice cream. The girls take a side step to neopolitan ice cream, and its memorable presence in the 70's and 80's. Lisa reminds Allison of the healthy eating commercials they grew up on featuring 'Time for Timer', sparking a sing along and lots of laughs about orange juice pops. The girls pay tribute to this season's "great" contenstant Kevin Flynn, and award Syabira another star baker.Â
An all-encompassing dessert week has the girls discussing anything and everything! The signature steamed pudding challenge leads Lisa to preach about her own recent sticky toffee puddings. The girls then exchange baking notes and childhood memories of their school lunches, and the rise of jello and pudding in the 70's. Lisa shares her successful technical baking notes on lemon meringue pie, and reminds listeners about where to find the recipes. The girls touch on the week's showstopping hidden surprise bakes, and Lisa gives a report on her tres leches cake.Â
"Not the littlest hobo!"
There are over one thousand types of conchas the GBBO bakers could choose from this week, and Lisa and Allison discuss exactly 3. In this episode, the girls walk down many side streets inspired by Mexican Week. Pop culture prevails when there's not only a "That 70's show" hobo reference, but a "30 Rock" reference as well. The girls prefer to talk about anything but making tortillas, but declare to be intrigued by the show stopping tres leches cakes. Lisa and Allison congratulate this week's star baker, and send mixed goodbyes to not one, but two tent contestants.
Not really a bread week, bread week! Lisa and Allison begin the episode with lots of pizza talk, and how the week's signature brings out excessive flavor profiles, with mediocre amounts of success. Lisa reminds everyone of her love for pineapple as a topping, and both girls praise Sandro's stuffed crust and BBQ flavors.
A new approach to the technicals has Lisa sharing her experience making this week's pain au raisin bake, and an affirmation that its worth the calories! A Swedish sandwich showstopper bring praise for James and his wee panda bread rolls leading Allison to share her limited knowledge regarding American pandas in captivity. Â The girls close the episode with a brief discussion on the fairness of eliminations when contestants are absent.
Well whaddaya know? It's former GBBO contestant Will Hawkins! Lisa and Allison welcomed this very special guest from Season 13 Â of the Great British Baking Show. Will answers the girls' questions about application to the show, his home signature bakes, and the potential for a future book and teaching opportunities.Â
An episode dedicated to biscuits, not cookies, with the differences discussed. Lisa laments the time spend on recreating the 'raisin poptart' technical, and a 'wee' side path gets taken on Wisconsin cheese curds.Â
Bakers were tasked with a biscuit mask in the final, and Rebs' submission leads into the defining fascinator as an accessory. Biscuit week!
A new year, a new season to chew on! Lisa and Allison are happy to be back, and, back together, for another sweet discussion of The Great British Baking Show!
The new year brings to light an intention to be more concise about bakes, and Lisa vows to try to recreate each week's technical challenge. The girls discuss their favorite bakers of the new show, and marvel at the diversity of this class. Lisa talks about her Red Velvet Cake, and Allison advises bakers to invest in food coloring paste. As usual, the girls share laughs about non- related topics like 'wee sing grandpa's toys', a discussion brought about by the bakers' many use of the word "wee".Â
Contestant Janusz gets star baker, and props from the girls for using a spray bottle of alcohol to spray on his bake. Lamenting the curse of the first baker elimination, a sad goodbye is said for Will, the first baker eliminated. Â
It's the final final! The last Soggy Bottom Girls podcast of 2022, and, a very special one at that! The girls record this episode  IN PERSON for the very first time. They discuss all their recent holiday bakes, praise all things Kim-Joy, and celebrate the unsurprising season 9 win by Rahul.Â
The girls are back for a special and unique holiday episode. Lisa and Allison catch up by discussing Lisa's holiday traditions like gingerbread and taffy. Allison brings up her recent encounter with a Norwegian Kransekake, as well as registering for a "Bake With A Legend" class. Both girls weigh in on the fun and festive holiday episode of Great British Baking Show currently playing on Netflix.
The girls begin the show by discussing the recent death of Queen Elizabeth II. Lisa then shares the recipe for the Queen's favorite dessert and its simplicity. With only four bakers left, the signature bake is discussed throuroughly. This semifinal week contains one of the longest technical assignments to date, so the girls talk about the demeanor of the bakers as Kim Joy nearly gives up over chocolate mousse. Three types of patisserie in the showstopper is exciting, but stressful. Lisa then shares an amazing new opportunity to view early episodes of Bake-off previously unavailable to Americans. Happy Fall y'all!
This week's quarterfinal show features Danish baking. Though the girls can't pronounce the bakes, they can sure talk about them! A signature rye sandwich bread once again showcases Kim Joy and her amazing creativity. Allison praises her throughout the show, and, rejects Lisa from the Wisconsin rye council. A hollow pancake technical and celebratory pastry cake follow as challenges.Â
The girls address the potential controversy over the week's star baker, and eliminated contestant- wandering if the decision was sexist. They give a shout out to Lisa's Mom and her truffles, and, as usual, crack each other up over just about anything. It's Danish week!

A challenging retro classic technical leaves the girls yet again, asking 'Why'? . With a chocolate ball showstopper, the girls heap lots of praise, and criticism, on this week's bakers.

It's Bread Week, baby!Â
Lisa and Allison start the show exchanging notes on naan bread, which is this week's technical challenge. With a tear-and-share loaf also in Lisa's wheelhouse, she explains what Chelsea buns are, and what it takes to turn them into a signature bake.
The girls also muse over the lack of arrogance in GBBO baking contestants, and wonder if this episode portrayed Rahul as a little sad. A Hollywood handshake was given, a cat wedding was celebrated in bread, and as always, someone goes home. Bread week!

This week is all about cake....and bars... and traybakes. The contestants are tasked with perfect cake slices, Claude Monet's favorite birthday cake, and a tiered and collared Showstopper! Lisa and Allison break down all the best bakes, heap their praises upon Kim Joy, and add to their list of 'wanna-make' t- shirts.

A history-making final brings us to the EPIC end of a great season! It truly was the FINAL COUNTDOWN as our ladies recap the ins and outs of this gripping end to the season. We won't give away WHO won until you listen in!Â
Down to another final four, and what an amazing group in the tent! All the star bakers have gathered this episode, and their patisserie will be judged not only by Paul Hollywood, but the Soggy Bottom Girls as well! The girls thoroughly discuss this semifinal grouping, fairness, and GBBO editing. A signature layered slice shows off strengths and yields handshakes. A fiddly Sable Breton tart technical proves how tight the race is. But, an odd 'banquet display' showstopper brings out even more questions on who is deserving of their place in this year's final...

The girls discuss the "twix bar" technical, and Lisa gives a report on her 2021 gingerbread plans. A jump-the-shark showstopper leads the girls to discuss the absence of proper equipment for the baking contestants. After a candy dome fail, another British baker bites the dust. Caramel Week!

A lot of unfamiliar sounding bakes this week... if only someone knew how to speak German around here! Oh wait! Lisa does, and she sings for us as a bonus. The lousy impressions continue this episode, and the girls discuss everything from Cool Whip to Frank Zappa.
Week 5 produces a star baker the girls LOVE, and an elimination that pulls the heartstrings. Allison and Lisa discuss the potential final contestants, mutual feelings about anise, and how everyone loves line dancing. Its German week of course!

A pavlova signature bake means the girls have plenty of personal opinions to share. The ridiculous accent imitation continues as Jurgen stands out in this week's challenges! The girls agree that Chigs is a standout, and that Maggie maybe isn't quite so serious about the competition. A mediocre technical leads into an intensely detailed showstopper. The girls foreshadow their interview with another former Bake Off contestant. It's Dessert week!

We're back! After weeks of illness, Allison reunites with Lisa for a spirited discussion of bread week! With a foccacia signature, and milk bread showstopper, this episode is very much in Lisa's wheelhouse. Both girls try out accents to mimic the bakers, and use the word "faff" with impunity. It's bread week!
We are back with the second episode of The Great British Baking Show. This week the remaining 11 bakers are taking on âBiscuit Week.â So grab yourself a cup of tea, your favorite biscuit and letâs dig in.
Allison and Lisa feel the heartbreak as Amanda's Rocking Horse Showstopper Challenge takes a tumble. Plus, more and more GINGERBREAD (anybody ready for Christmas?!). Will JĂŒrgen win AGAIN? Tune in as the ladies dish on their baking favorites!

We have made it through another season, and arrived verbosely at the final! Lisa shares a rare home baking fail, and both girls go ga-ga for the meringue signature bake. There is lots of conversation about the double Hollywood handshake, and the Victoria sponge technical inspires Lisa to make homemade jam.
An enormous showstopper is loaded with bakes, and the girls take much more than a moment to praise the unsung cinnamon chip.

Patisserie week has come and gone, and the girls take lots of side streets in between the palmiers and the savarins. It's another quarter final episode, and yet, Allison still doesn't know the difference between a petiti four and a fondant fancie!
Jane hangs on for the final, and Andrew goes above and beyond, yielding him a confidence boosting star baker. Lisa brings up the cleanliness of Candice's presentation props, and Allison makes a strange and distasteful confession...

It's a historical Quarterfinal, and thankfully one of the girls knows something about it! Savory Tudor pies, stodgy Tudor jumbles, and Tudor March-pane showstoppers? Can there be too many birds or rose themed bakes? In this week's episode, Lisa and Allison dish about Henry the VIII, Andrew's gear pies, and bakes that look "excrement-y"....

So much sweetness in one little episode! The girls start off by catching up on Lisa's baking bucket list, and how she is crossing off puff pastry. Bakers were tasked with family sized roulades in the signature, so Lisa explains the difference between a roulade and a Swiss roll. There's a fiddly French technical, and an over the top mousse filled showstopper. In between, the girls slip down party ball side streets and forecast a future for a literary hipsters picnic!

An unprecedented weekend of batter challenges gives the girls lots to talk about this week.
Ever made a classic Yorkshire pudding? Lisa has, and explains her week's many baking succeses. The lacy pancake technical was new to both girls, but leads to many 'side notes'. A 'Churros' challenge showstopper prompts Lisa to share how her high school cafeteria often offered a much loved "churro day". Allison explains how the girls started podcasting, and, catches up on this week's eliminated baker.

Babka? Bergamot? Fallopian tubes? Snooker? Believe it or not, we are talking about bread this week!Chocolate loaves abound in the signature, and a German Dampfnudel technical leaves Allison asking ' Why?' Noah's ark in bread. A plaited maiden in bread. And, a mythical masculine showstopper spawns this week's star baker.

Been thinking about baklava? Well, week nine's last four bakers were! Patisserie week yields lots of conversation about the LAYERS. Down to five, its the quarterfinals, mate! Advanced dough week yields sweet fruit loaves and a somewhat familiar technical. A fun doughnut showstopper produces the perfect doughnut, some boozy gimmicks, and a funny faced doughnut tree. Never to be dissuaded from left turns down non baking avenues, Lisa and Allison get into some films that were commonly shown in American schools circa 1970.
