In today's episode I recap week 3 of the NHL season. Obviously the big news coming out today was Eichel being traded alas to the Vegas Golden Knights. I take you through my thoughts on who are the winners out of the trade. I also run you through the cap issues some teams are looking at now and for the future. Closing out the discussion with the contract extensions of both Toronto's Morgan Reilly and New York's Adam Fox.
In this episode I recap week 2 of the NHL season. Today's episode starts off with a very serious situation in an NHL investigations to a sexual assault allegation from back in 2010. I break down the current information out about the investigation as well as my opinion on how it has been handled. I then shift into injury updates on star players Sidney Crosby, Drew Doughty and Nikita Kucherov. Listen in to see what teams have been a hot and which have been not through the first two weeks of action.
In today's episode I recap the first week of the 2021/22 NHL season. I look into Evander Kane's wild past year and what his and the Sharks future hold. Looking into what other team that I had missing the playoffs now might be looking to add another Stanley Cup to their name. In today's episode I run you through my NHL standings predictions for this year's season. I talk about why I have each team in the position I do and what wild card teams will sneak in. I also give my hot take on which team I have winning the cup this year. Finally I close out with my favorites to win awards this year such as the Calder Memorial, Hart Memorial, Vezina and more.
