The Weekly Wrapup show has changed a lot over the years and it's time to rethink it again based on its performance. Perhaps we stop doing it on a weekly basis and only when the right topics present themselves? I'd love your feedback.

This is an interview I shot for my cable access TV show called "30/30" back in January of 1990 - right after the 1989 holiday season. I was 13 years old. This was the year that saw the release of the Sega Genesis, Turbografx 16, Gameboy, and the Atari Lynx. The show started out as kind of a mishmash of stuff but started to focus in on video games. In this interview I talk with Steve Sepowski who managed the local Ultimate Game Club store in Old Saybrook, Connecticut. We talk about the holiday season and what he thought the 1990's would bring for video gamers at the time. I will keep looking through my archives to see if anything else from that show might be relevant for retro video game fans!

Blake J. Harris, author of the new book Console Wars, joined me for a 30 minute interview about the book and the battle between Nintendo and Sega in the early to mid 90's. Harris is currently working on a documentary based on the book which will be followed by a feature film from Seth Rogan! Very exciting stuff.

Andreas Goeldi from Pixability joins us to talk about a research study he conducted into the interaction of consumer electronics brands and independent content creators on YouTube. Goeldi offers some fascinating insights on how to create a successful product review channel but also what brands should be thinking about when it comes to this emerging medium. Out of the billions of YouTube video views on consumer electronics, only a small fraction of those views go to the manufacturers themselves. A bulk of content consumed about consumer electronics is on channels from independent YouTubers like you and me. Read the study here: http://lon.tv/cestudy Watch a video detailing the findings of the study here: http://lon.tv/cewebinar

Today we're talking with Michael Kaiser from the National Cyber Security Alliance. His organization is sponsoring the Two Steps Ahead Tour, where they are traveling to cities throughout the United States to encourage people to begin using two-factor authentication for their email and social media accounts. Protecting yourself online is incredibly important, especially given just how vulnerable our passwords are. Two factor authentication is very easy to set up on most services. Here's a video I made two years ago about setting it up on Google accounts: http://lon.tv/uwyku
