Today I was visited by my muse....she is back and I have written a few poems and wanted to share them with you.

I love this festival. Jean and I travel almost every year to Hillsdale NY to spend 3-4 days to listen to music and to be part of this peaceful and loving community.
How does a musician get the music out there? What media does someone invest in to make the most impact? The importance of going out to listen to live music.
These poems were written at a time that I had lost two special people in my life. It was my way of grieving.
We moved around alot.....venue to venue for various reasons. I wanted to highlight the crazy journey that was and how we still maintained a great music series bringing in amazing artists to our stage.
My name is Denise Hurley and I wanted to do this podcast so I could showcase some of my work that I have done over the years. I am someone who has done a little of this and a little of that with my poetry and photography. I also run a music series and have been in the industry for some 25 years and wanted to talk about the highs and lows of running a series. I have many favorite moments that I would like to share with my listeners and I hope you enjoy what I have to say.
