Finnish rock pioneers Poets of the Fall have been gracing the alt-rock scene with their intensely lyrical and brilliantly heartful music since 2003. In A Perfect World's intricately woven lyrical and melodical content gives us a chance at making peace with the ups and downs of everyday life. It's hard to find enough time to do justice to the genius songwriting and lyrical structure on In A Perfect World, from POTF's 2018 record, Ultraviolet, but, on our longest episode yet, Jailan tries.

For most of us, this holds true, but Florence Welch breezes through the song with honesty, relatability, and a grounded perspective of true happiness. As the last track on Florence and the Machine's 2018 record 'High As Hope,' "No Choir" offers more than meets the eye between its simple and short lines.
