In the conclusion to the Dual Citizen series, Tracy actually sees the vision he was shown at the age of three, and the Tall Shiny Silver Figure makes good on His word when he said, “When you see this again in real life, I will come back and visit you.”
When Bob and Tracy arrive at the dock, Tracy experiences time in a new way, which includes a discussion with his three-year-old self about their picture book.
In July, Tracy is instructed to surprise Bob for his birthday, and he secretly tries to follow His directive to “Go to the other side.”
By Memorial Day, ‘Bob and Tracy’ are known as a couple in Rand, and Bob learns about gun safety. Then, Tracy is given the directive to “Take Bob out for a bike ride for his birthday.”
After Christmas Tracy is introduced to Bob’s family, and, by March, the couple meets Harry and Lynn by way of a truly West Virginian funeral.
In short order, Tracy introduces Bob to his DC friends, and the pair surprise Granny for Christmas.
Tracy finally meets his perfect spouse, which is confirmed by the prophesy Tracy was given about his wrought iron artwork.
When Tracy returns to his empty townhouse, he demands to know why he is still alone. Once Tracy stops ‘snottin’ and cryin’, the Tall Shiny Silver Figure gives him an eye-opening revelation on Tracy’s sexuality, and Tracy is freed to look for his perfect spouse.
In this episode, Tracy reminisces over his long relationship with Moody, and is given more time to spend with Moody as his health declines.
When Tracy returns, for the first time in a long time he loves his new job, and the Tall Shiny Silver Figure throws in a bonus of the car Tracy always wanted. Then, Tracy is told it is finally time for a reconciliation.
In the next stage fulfilling the four promises, Tracy is told to go on vacation. This makes no sense, however, because Tracy obeys, he's offered a job once he gets off the plane, and is restored to studying Martial Arts with one of his oldest friends.
During Todd’s epic birthday party, Tracy is instructed to move into his townhouse even though he doesn’t have a job. Tracy then learns how premeditated the Tall Shiny Silver Figure’s plan was all along, and is encouraged to write a book.
Now that Tracy’s base is back in DC, the Tall Shiny Silver Figure began to move on fulfilling the four promises. Then, even though Tracy encounters racism at his job, Tracy is introduced to his perfect house.
In rapid succession, Tracy is offered a job, a place to live, and is reunited with the DC family of his childhood.
This episode was previewed for Easter in 2020 as a Special Episode, and had the highest number of listeners to date. In terms of the book, once Tracy found out the family bloodline he is on his way, which this vision confirmed. The experience also prepares Tracy for the next level of interaction between himself and the Tall Shiny Silver Figure.
Now that we’re in the home stretch, Tracy’s interactions with the Tall Shiny Silver Figure begin to happen in real time. In this episode, Harry reveals the history of the family bloodline, and Tracy is freed to converse with Him at will. Once that veil is lifted, Tracy’s confusion ends, and so you can now enjoy each episode as Tracy did. Tracy briefly describes being prophesied over for the first time, and how much chicken and waffles helped.
Soon after Tracy moved to Chattanooga, Easter was upon him. Because Tracy was born on Easter Sunday and didn’t want to spend the holiday with strangers, he teamed up with an old friend to attend services. On both occasions, preachers Tracy didn’t know prophesied to him directly, which led Tracy farther down his path.
Tracy discusses how following His instructions was easy at first, and then harder. He also talks more about his first vision, and how it healed him in a way he didn’t expect.
A few years into Tracy’s first job in nuclear power, things were in transition in more ways than one. In short order, Tracy simultaneously lost his job and was interviewed for another, and his training with the Tall Shiny Silver Figure began in earnest with his first waking vision.
In this episode, Tracy talks about what it was like to be walking with Him in his adult life. This was new, and there were many things Tracy didn’t have an answer to, but He did.
This episode is a turning point, and describes how Tracy’s faith begins to match up with this world. This synthesis includes his brother Freddie, which becomes prophetic.
Tracy describes a turning point in his relationship with the Tall Shiny Silver Figure, when he realizes it is His detailed instructions that were most important.
After his Mom’s passing, Tracy falters until he finds himself failing out of college. With dwindling options, he reaches out to the Tall Shiny Silver Figure, who gives him an unusual directive that changes his course.

This episode marks the beginning of Book 2 of Dual Citizen: The Training. Picking up with Chapter 15, Tracy visits his father’s family and meets his new little brother Bryan. Before heading off to college Tracy finally visits Justin, and another curtain is opened.
Tracy further explains his experiences with The Tall Shiny Silver Figure that tied up his senior year so neatly. He also talks about the revelations and knowledge given by Him, as these visions significantly increase and expand in The Training.
This chapter marks the end of The Connection, the first book of the Dual Citizen Trilogy. As Tracy's senior year ends, several opportunities come full circle. From his college acceptance and scholarship, to a paid summer internship, Tracy marvels at everything the Tall Shiny Silver Figure brought together, and all Tracy had do was walk.
Tracy's fills in more details about Granny Berger, and how she helped prepare him to step out into the world. In the same way, as the end of the first book of Dual Citizen comes to a close in Chapter 14, Tracy foreshadows events in the second book, The Training, so you can be ready for his angelic encounters.
In time for Mother's Day, the events that surround Tracy's junior year of high school centers on the mothers of his family. From his great Granny Berger, Granny, his Aunt Jinny and Vera, they all had run-ins with racism, and that affected how they handled Tracy's situation.
Tracy reminisces about Moody, and some of the adventures he couldn't tell about in the book. From his first cocktail at age 13 to his attempted adoption, the bond the two shared was something special.
Soon after Tracy bonded with Moody, Tracy is secretly introduced to his father for the first time. The encounter explains why his father was absent up to this point, and how much Granny had intervened in their relationship.
In this special episode, Tracy introduces a waking vision he had that appears much later in the book. In the unusual times of COVID-19, we hope the story of this vision will provide comfort. We also wish everyone a blessed Passover and Easter season!
While Tracy and Freddie visit their Mom after school was out for the summer, a circumstance at the Moody house changes Tracy's life yet again, which gives him a new perspective on life.
Tracy fills us in on what a difference moving out of DC and in with Granny and Moody made on his life.
Once Tracy and Freddie settle into living with their grandparents, Granny makes some decisions about how the boys can spend their free time. This chapter discusses the next year of Tracy's life. By the end of the school year, Granny and Moody make a major decision. This changes everything for Tracy, and this new beginning shapes him for the rest of his life.
We are in a pivotal moment. Once Tracy realizes more about the Tall Shiny Silver Figure and how He could help him, things change. Likewise, in this episode, rather than foreshadow what is next, Tracy fills in the blanks about what you just heard.
After briefly reuniting with the Tall Shiny Silver Figure, Tracy experiences first hand how much the Tall Shiny Silver Figure wants to be an integral part of his life, and how amazing that is.
Tracy is brief, and describes a point in his life that helps him make a major decision.
In this chapter we turn a corner. Tracy's relationship with Vera's second husband Bobby has changed for the worse. Moody had already decided never to step foot in Bobby's house again after the incident with the bikes. What Bobby does next is so bad, the Tall Shiny Silver Figure literally comes between Tracy and Bobby and Tracy is forced to choose.
Tracy laments about the farm in Virginia, and how much things are changing for the older Moodys. He also talks about how his Granny never ceased to amaze him, and wonders where she learned her skills.
In this chapter Tracy returns to Rand to find out from his mother how truly devious Granny was. You have to have gumption to drill holes through your cellar walls just to scare your husband with a fake snake. We are also near the end of Tracy's childhood, and closing in on a pivotal moment in his young life.
Tracy talks about how far Granny's practical jokes went, and, if you haven't figured it out, Granny was something!
The boys go back to the farm, and we learn how Moody dealt with his homecoming after returning from the Pacific during WW II. We hear the unhidden disdain between Granny and Moody’s father, even during prayer, and perhaps most importantly, we meet Miss Odell. She gives us a glimpse of the self-sustaining farm the Moody family enjoyed for generations as free people of color before the Civil War, located well below the Mason-Dixon line.
In this episode Tracy talks about his adventures with Freddie and Miss Odell down on the farm. He also tries to explain why it was a moose, which are not indigenous to the middle of southern Virginia.
Tracy and Freddie are growing up, and spend the summer with Granny and Moody in West Virginia. As six and seven year-olds, they are fascinated going to the farm in the camper. Through the camper we learn how Granny took on the racism of the 1950’s when Vera and Jinny were girls. Now, it’s Tracy and Freddie’s turn in the 1970’s. The boys see how stubborn Granny is - even with a fishhook sticking out her eye, and Freddie learns how dangerous collecting eggs can be.
In this episode Tracy talks about Granny, Moody's struggles with racism, and how their families dealt with it over the generations. Tracy talks about this from his point of view, and what Granny, Moody and Moody’s family impressed on him at a young age.
Tracy has moved to the high-rise in D.C., and Vera finds a friend and confidant in Momma Ro. While the two deal with their husbands, little Tori and Freddie provide Tracy and his Mom with much needed comic relief.
Tracy introduces his first childhood friend, his little brother and his second mom – Momma Ro. They all help him deal with Bobby and his darkness, which in a few years will get Tracy back to West Virginia before it’s too late.
