Wendy Van Delden, on behalf of Waikanae Music Society, presents an hour long programme featuring the music and composers and artists in the next Waikanae Music Society Concert.
In this months programme, foreshadowing the October Concert with the Ghost Trio, Wendy van Delden presents a programme of piano trios, with a difference.
The Cello is the featured instrument this programme as the Waikanae Music Society hosts cellist Andrew Joyce and pianist Jian Liu at their next concert.
This month Wendy has chosen “old favourites that I haven’t heard for sometime.” The selection includes one of the happiest, one of the saddest and a fun filled Orkney Wedding, complete with bagpipes.
In this months show you will be spoiled with music from Bach, Liszt, Tao Ping and Chopin as well as others. Listen in for a beautiful piece played by Michael Houstoun who is the performer for the March concert.
