If you resonate with the struggles of procrastination, perfectionism, imposter syndrome or burnout then this conversation will be extremely beneficial. Caggie is joined by Aime McNee, a creative coach and fiction author. In this episode they explore the beauty and vulnerability of ‘the creative’; the loneliness of committing to creativity, the shame and comparison creatives often face when straying away from the conventional 9-5 career and the liberation of choosing ourselves and our own path. Aime and Caggie discuss the many ways we often grapple with the dialogue of our inner critic and unpack the topic of ego, how individuals will often unknowingly cultivate a fear of success which is just as persuasive as our fear of failure.
Even if you are not creative in your career, many of us have that inner critic which makes us doubt ourselves and stops us from going after our aspirations and goals. Aime shares her own experience with this and the tools she utilises to unlock the power to silence that voice in our head that says we are not worthy.

Louise O’Neill, renowned author and journalist, joins Caggie on this episode to discuss the journey of her Saturn Return. At 27 she was back living with her parents after returning from her job in fashion journalism in New York, her relationship ended, a dwindling bank account and suffering a severe relapse of her eating disorder. It was a “rock bottom” experience in many ways but her career soon took off after writing her first book. Our Saturn Return can be a turbulent and transformative time and Louise speaks openly about how there were times she felt hopeless and lost, even when she was at one of her highest points of success professionally. Yet she holds the belief that often everything falls apart and comes together at the same time.
Louise reflects candidly on her twenty-year battle with an eating disorder which affected every aspect of her life. She shares her recent experience with her Saturn Maturation, a profound time of self-reflection, introspection and re-evaluation. Louise and Caggie discuss toxic relationship patterns, inner critics, energetic shielding, and deepening our intuition. The overwhelming theme of this conversation is that happiness is an inside job.

Today Caggie is joined by Sophie Dear; a wellness mentor, podcast host and yoga instructor who embarked on a transformative journey from a career in the TV industry to living full time in Bali. This conversation is insightful, educational and incredibly inspiring as Sophie shares with Caggie her previous struggles with insomnia and anxiety and opens up about how experiencing burnout in her career eventually led to leaving the TV Industry she had thrived in for years. For many of us, ignoring burnout in pursuit of career success is an unhealthy habit that seems to be celebrated in many ways, coined as ‘the hustle culture’ phenomenon. During our Saturn Return one of the most important challenges is often the self-reflection of looking inwards at our relationship with self and addressing the patterns or habits which no longer serve us.
Caggie and Sophie discuss the importance of self-worth, challenging limiting beliefs and understanding the profound influence of our inner critic. They also expand on navigating the intricacies of masculine and feminine energies; unveiling the societal pressure to conform to ‘traditional’ roles without questioning the why behind a desire for partnership or motherhood. Sophie shares some final insight into the power of affirmations, shifting our mindsets and showing up for yourself.

Yrsa is an author, actor, model, storyteller and screenwriter. She is most known for her debut book, Bone and her autobiographical novel, The Terrible, which won the PEN/Ackerley Prize. Yrsa also co-wrote Black Is King, Beyoncé's musical film and visual album. As Saturn is associated with boundaries and discipline, this episode demonstrates how important these principles are for our creativity. Paradoxically, when we plan out and structure our days, and are disciplined with our daily rituals, we create more freedom and space for self expression and allow inspiration to flow. Caggie and Yrsa talk about fear, how to get out of our own way, the alchemy of writing, vulnerability, and share their own sobriety journeys.

Author, journalist and TV presenter Candice Brathwaite joins Caggie in this episode to talk about motherhood, role models and manifestation.
Candice is a mother of two and a force to be reckoned with. She has written for the likes of Grazia, Harper's Bazaar, Stylist and Huffington Post, presented on TV show Lorraine, and authored two books including I Am Not Your Baby Mother and Sista Sister. She talks passionately about many issues Black mothers face including the statistics about how Black and Asian women are much more likely to die in childbirth in the UK than white women.

In this very raw and honest conversation Caggie speaks with Laura Thomas, a nutritionist and author of “Just Eat It” who specialises in intuitive eating. They discuss toxic diet culture, the link between our bodies and our self worth, the societal programming behind it and why we must stop attaching morality to food by calling it 'good' or 'bad'. During our Saturn Return, we have the opportunity to face issues and behaviour patterns that we do not want to carry with us into this new stage of life. Caggie shares the struggles she had with her own body before her Saturn Return, and how ultimately this was the moment when she decided to address these issues and take the steps to create a more harmonious relationship with her body and food.
This episode may be triggering for people who suffer from eating disorders.

One of Germany’s leading clinical psychologists and author of The Child In You, Stefanie Stahl, joins Caggie today. Stefanie’s work focuses around the principle that our early imprints from childhood shape our behaviour and belief systems, which impact our relationships, friendships and generally how we show up in the world in adult life. She differentiates between the Shadow Child (our negative beliefs), and the Sun Child (our more positive beliefs) and advocates making friends with the Shadow Child in order to understand ourselves better.
Inner child work can be heavy, especially when unearthing trauma, so a professional therapist can be really helpful in this process. But during our Saturn Return we often have a strong desire to begin this work, as we become more willing to let go of the past that might be holding us back from initiating into adulthood.

During our Saturn Return we often feel a strong desire to be truly seen as our most authentic selves - to put down the facade and armour of pretending. But this isn’t without its challenges, as vulnerability can feel scary. How can we allow someone to see us, when we don’t feel worthy of being seen?
In the first episode of season 4, Caggie is joined by Estée Lalonde, a Creative Director living in London, as they explore how we can create self trust, and build the foundations that make vulnerability possible. Estée is originally from Canada, but moved to the UK for love at 19, and began establishing herself as a firm favourite in the YouTube space for her love for all things beauty. Her most recent project, Mirror Water, is an online lifestyle community focused on self-reflection.

They discuss how and why we self-sabotage, Jordan's path to sobriety and the wonderfully simple principles to live by for a happier and healthier mind and life.
Musician and songwriter Freya Ridings joins Caggie this week to talk about the importance of remaining true to yourself, even when others tell you to change. Her hit single Lost Without You stole the heart of the nation and catapulted her to overnight fame after it appeared on hit reality show Love Island, but the song had been years in the making. Freya discusses her childhood and its influence on her music and writing, how music has been an outlet for her when she felt like an outsider, and how she ultimately used her pain as rocket fuel to propel her career.

Warning: strong language in this episode.
Wellness wanderer, yoga teacher and founder of Soul Sanctuary Cat Meffan joins Caggie this week for a conversation around free-movement, self love, sexuality, sobriety and balance. As an ex-gymnast and dancer, Cat discovered yoga when recovering from an injury and found that movement helped her heal her relationship with her body and fall back in love with it. Caggie and Cat discuss how emotion can get stuck in the body, and how moving in whatever way feels right for you can release trapped energy and emotion that becomes stagnant over time. (Trigger warning: Caggie and Cat discuss eating disorders in this episode)
Moon mentor Kirsty Gallagher first met Caggie back in April 2020, when her book Lunar Living was published. Since then, Kirsty's career has gone from strength to strength, and the pair have become the closest of friends. In this conversation they discuss how spending time in India prompted Kirsty to begin living by the moon, and how it has informed her life. They also discuss what our moon signs mean for us individually and as a collective, and Kirsty explores Caggie's moon sign with an Angel card reading.
Mark Groves is a 'human connection specialist' who hosts his own podcast and has a huge following on Instagram @createthelove, where he shares his ideas. He calls his work ‘no BS relationship advice’, and his big belief is that loving is an art which must be learned, practiced and explored. In this thought-provoking conversation Caggie is joined by award-winning reporter Jessica Defino, whose work focuses on deconstructing beauty standards and the beauty industry. They discuss how social media has created an unachievable, perfect aesthetic that people are trying to maintain and recreate through surgical procedures, and how the ability to alter our image digitally and physically, has intensified our obsession with beauty and youth. This conversation explores why certain structures benefit from this, and how disempowering it is for the collective, why we need to disconnect value from beauty, and how we can start to have conversations that dismantle the patriarchy and help us step into our power.

What better way to kick off the season than with the holistic psychologist Dr Nicole LePera. Starting out with a small following with the intention to post content that she needed for her own spiritual healing journey, Dr Nicole has now amassed over 3.4 million followers and released a book called “How to Do the Work.” Nicole focuses on Ego, trauma, boundaries, the nervous system, epigenetics, conscious awareness, reparenting and more, and believes everybody has the capacity to hold themselves and heal themselves. Caggie and Nicole discuss how we can get back in our bodies, tap into our intuition, interdependence, connection vs attachment and how to know when we need to draw a boundary with people in our lives.
This season I’ll be looking more deeply at some key Saturnian themes, with guests ranging from holistic psychologist Dr Nicole LePera to drum and bass icon Goldie. The pair discuss confidence and self worth, where it comes from and how to nurture it. They also explore the term 'body neutrality' and the transition from the obsession that many women have with the way they look, to appreciating all that the body can help us to achieve. There are lots of great articles on the topics Jada mentions, but one the SR production team thought you might like on Forbes.com is called "Men Should take Parental Leave and Here's Why" Instagram @caggiesworld Youtube @caggie Facebook @caggieofficial Twitter @caggie\_dunlop #SaturnReturns #JadaSezer

Natalie Miles, author and podcast host of "You Are Intuitive", talks to Caggie about how to tune into your own navigating system. We all have an internal compass, steering us towards what is good for us, but our busy minds can often take us elsewhere. Often we are torn between logic and intuition. But, like a muscle, the more we use it the stronger it becomes. Your intuition is the quiet voice that is always guiding you. In a culture and society that has conditioned us to fill up every moment, the concept of creating space both physically and emotionally to allow ourselves to feel can seem uncomfortable and exposing.
