I'll be honest and admit that I was there once and it's not a good feeling to feel like you aren't doing what you should be doing. I was reminded that creatives never quit creating...that means that no matter what I will not stop creating and building and executing the plans and visions that I have placed inside of me. I don't want to die and still be full of dreams and ideas that could have helped some one. I am going to work those dreams NOW! And when I do...I'm going to give it all I got!

Treat yourself, Does that even exist...? I know as parents, especially mothers our daily task are never ending that sometimes we can become so consumed that we lose energy, feel down and even overwhelmed. I know, I'VE BEEN THERE! On todays episode I simply wanted to remind you that you are important and we should never forget that. Life for me is busy so finding some simple quick things to make me smile and feel good about myself is important. What would your list look like? LOL Whatever the treat is don't forget to give yourself lots of it, because our self-care and mental health is important. It's those reminders that gives me that extra boost to keep going!

This episode is one for the books. I feel I can finally have closure. My father passed when I was 7, I never really got to build the father-daughter relationship I longed for and have felt empty for the past 27 years. My Uncle was one family member from my fathers side who stepped up and stepped in when he died. Today he answers any and every questions, share some good and bad moments of my dad to help me on this road to closure and healing. We both were extremely nervous we had to take a break due to getting a little overwhelmed. Laughter helped me to compress my tears. This was very helpful. If you're still dealing with a loss I highly recommend seeking counsel or just someone who you can open up and talk with so the healing can begin.
