"Forever, Eternity, An unbeliever WILL NOT Burn in

Hell forever, they will be burned up like stubble. So will we believers not be in New Jerusalem for only a time?…… confused"

I read the Judges 21:25, "In those days there was no king in Israel; everyone did what was right in his own eyes." I felt that this is like our current post-modern era[.] Which focuses only on diversity and deny the absolute standard and truth. How do you think about this?

Can you explain what it means to submit to one another again(Ephesians 5:21)? I was reading a Bible website that sound similar to how Jay explained it. Is it true that to position oneself below others in status—to think of oneself as lower in rank for the benefit of the other—is to submit to them? And do submissions come in different ways? For example: Wives are to align or submit themselves under their husbands to illustrate the response of the church to Christ (Ephesians 5:22–24, 32–33). Husbands are to align themselves under or submit to their wives by loving them selflessly for their sanctification, illustrating Jesus’ love for His church (Ephesians 5:25–33). “Children ought to align themselves under or submit to their parents in honor and obedience (Ephesians 6:1–3). Fathers need to align themselves under or submit to their children by not provoking them to anger and by training them in the discipline and instruction of the Lord (Ephesians 6:4).

What is the significance of the head and body movements by the Jews when praying at the remaining wall of the ancient Roman fortress ?

In an article I read: the Greek term for “Holy Spirit” is “Hagios pneumatos,” “Holy Breath” or “Holy Spirit.” The Holy Breath term threw me off a bit. Is the holy spirit a breath?

Moses died presumably around 1450 BCE, and Malachi existed around 400 BCE. During this period of 1000 years, hundreds of prophets must known to the Jews during this time period, but the Bible records the books of only 16 Hebrew prophets. What was the reason?

The true interpretation of the "except for Fornication" clause in Matt. 5:32 and Matt. 19:9 is " except the marriage itself be unlawful," as was the case with Herod and Herodious, Philip's wife, and Phaltiel and Michal, David's wife. You stated the soul ceases to exist after death I have to disagree with for the soul is our mind, will, emotions so if the body goes to the dust and the spirit goes back to God What is judged? Hebrews 9: 27 states once a man is appointed to die then there is judgement. So the soul does not cease to exist. it is our mind will emotions which is judged by God when people die

What was the purpose of baptism I heard it was because in Noah's day there was no law. They were drowned for disobedience. In 2nd Peter Jesus set the captives free. He was drowned for their disobedience. And when He came up He fulfilled their disobedience so some of them were saved. He fulfilled the law for us. We get baptized symbolically for our disobedience.

What is the sabbath day?

If Moses was the author of Deuteronomy, how could he have recorded his own death? I have read of three suggestions made by scholars. 1st. It was Joshua who inserted this particular sentence for Moses. 2nd. It was God who completed the sentence on behalf of Moses. 3rd. It was Moses himself who was suddenly aware of his imminent death, and recorded it with tears in his eyes, then he went to die. Furthermore, It is also stated that God secretly buried Moses and the location of his grave is unknown to this day. Many people would have been present at the time of his death. Did God suddenly snatched him from their sight, and took him to heaven and restored his life? In the New Testament, we see Moses appearing on the mount of transfiguration in the company of Elijah who went to heaven without dying. So, does that explain that Moses was instantly taken to heaven and became alive again?

Please explain the 1000 years as it pertains to end times and Revelation

Recently, during various discussions with bible scholars, I have discovered that there seems to be some confusion regarding the "GOG & MAGOG" invasion. Many scholars believe that we will see this invasion in our lifetime, and that it is even imminent in view of the current situation in the eastern regions  where the movement will start. I have carefully read "Ezekiel 38 and Revelation 20". According to my own understanding, this will only happen when SATAN is released after Christ's Millennium reign. Furthermore, Ezekiel indicates that it will happen when the Holy City is at peace, resulting in a land of unwalled villages, and having neither bars nor gates. This bears no reflection of the current situation of high dividing walls and numerous check-points, and restrictions of movement. Please put me right.

I am currently researching some words that are defined a little different in some of the newer versions. But as I was doing this, I looked at the 1599 Geneva Bible in Isaiah 13:21 and it included the word “lim” as an animal. I cannot find any information on this; maybe you won’t either, but I am asking the question: “Do you know what a ‘lim’ is?

But nothing is known about Prochorus, and Nicanor, and Timon, and Parmenas" is stated on your website, but what about the tradition that says Prochorous was bishop of Nicomedia appointed by S. John and was also his scribe. What is the source for this tradition. Similarly there is a tradition about Parmenas; he preached in Asia Minor and was bishop of Soli (a city either in Cilicia, or Cyprus). I am interested in knowing the source of these traditions and their authenticity; would appreciate it if you could help. Thnx.

What does it mean to take God's name in vain? A pastor on YouTube said that saying G..D.. means that you are asking God to curse something or someone. Is that true, and if so, would He? If He did what would that look like? Aren't we protected by God from our enemies? It seems to me that certain words were not said by Christians when I was growing up, but now are seen as just meaningless words. I'm sorry if this is a lot. Thanks.

Not a question but did notice your misunderstanding of who Jesus was and who Christ is. I am an Omnist because of all the scriptures .I have asked that Jesus Christ come into my life three or four different times in my life (read: sinners prayer). For the last 5 or so years I have been angry with God and even hated him. I never prayed or worshipped during that time. In January 2022, I prayed the sinners prayer again and I deeply regret hating God.

So I have an abundance of questions:

  1. Was it necessary to pray the sinners prayer or was I still technically saved despite my five years of hate and rebellion? I never doubted he existed during that time, simply His motive.

  2. Will all the times I had faith in Him from the past parts of my relationship with Him count towards this one? Or were they invalidated by my rebellion and re-assertion of faith?

  3. I’m struggling with suicide and I worry that if I do go through with it that there will not be enough “fruit” because of everything and I will be sent to hell because of points 1 and 2. In my current situation I pray and listen to recorded sermons etc..

Join this week as she answers the following Bible Questions:

In 1 John 3:3 NKJV, what is meant by “their spiritual state”?

Greetings,

According to the doctrine of the Trinity, there is One God who exists in three Persons: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.

The Trinity also states that the three Persons are all God and are all equal.

My question is how can the articles of the Trinity doctrine be aligned with a number of sayings by Jesus Christ himself?

There are numerous verses that clash with the doctrine of the Trinity. Here is one of them as a starter:

1- The Trinity states that all three Persons are God. However, Jesus said:

"And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent." (John 17:3)

In this passage, Jesus addressed God as the "only true God". Jesus also made a clear distinction between the "only true God" and himself. In his words, he (Jesus) was sent by the "only true God".

By saying these words, we are given a clear admission from Jesus that he (Jesus) was not God, but that only the Father is the "true God".

If we disregard the words in John 17:3, and uphold the Trinity, would we not be violating the teachings of Jesus Christ?

I hope that the reply I receive will not go the route of "these words are only allegorical", which are words often employed when no rational answer can be given.

Thank you,

Ash

In Deut 24:16 it says that parents should not be put to death for sins of their children and children should not be put to death for the sins of their parents then why did God punish David in 2 Sam 12:1 - 15 by vs. 14 but because by doing this you have shown utter contempt for the Lord, the son born to you will die. It sounds like God punished the child for David's sin?

I feel like the v is the mark of the beast

  • I just wanted to ask a question about the Table of Stones. How many commandments were written on each tablet?

A friend of mine told me that since the commandments establish a covenant, it is likely that they were duplicated on both tablets (10/10) in which a copy was made for each party. It got me confused as I'm used to 4/6 but I don't have any proof or historical evidence about it.

Hope you can answer my question. God bless us all! * If every word in the Bible is true for all generations and I know it is then why do men whose cover is God wear hats during our service. What are the problems with these two books? * If good works are not required for salvation, why does the Bible say faith without works is dead in James 2:14? * How was god formed? * The KJV Bible, is the New Covenant the same as the New Testament, or are they different? * Who is the beast of 7 heads and 10 horns motioned in the book of Revelation? * When we dream of many frogs in our home, does that mean we have bad spirits in our house? * Are the names of Pharaoh's magicians who contested with Moses mentioned anywhere in the Bible (Old or New Testament)? * Why did God choose Saul to be the first king of Israel and Jonathan the first prince if David’s line was always going to be The Promised One?

  • Jesus kept the Mosaic laws after his resurrection. Change my mind...
  • Like most that lose a spouse, the question of marriage in heaven is pored over.  i have walked with The Lord for fifty years and i have many "wonders" about it.  but one thing i can say for certain is that if i knew i would be reunited with my bride, i would likely be looking forward to heaven to be with her more than being with The Lord.  we will find out a lot of things then, that knowing them now, would likely hinder our pursuit of Him.
  • Are those dietary restrictions found in the book of Leviticus applicable to us today.

What to do with negative energy? I gripe or whine a lot for help. I know its drains others and not healthy. Who hid 100 prophets in a cave?

How did the apostle recognize Moises and E; Elijah during the Transfiguration, them being dead thousand years ago ..Your thought about the "speaking in tongues" of some churches are their sign of being save or born again Christian.

I experienced it in a local church here in the Philippines, where this thing happened during a prayer session. It's kind of a weird.

Why did God command the Levites to kill their fellow Israelites? Exodus 32:27 If we're Christians, we know that Jesus told us He will come back to take us to heaven. Where should we be when this happens?

My wife and I were/are true soulmates. She was/is a born-again Christian, and so am I. The Lord took her home in December, 2020. We were/are DEEPLY in love, shared virtually everything, and were as close as a married couple can be. Next to my Lord and Savior, she was/is the true love of my life. Our love grew with the passing of very moment, and continued to do so until she went home to be with God.

I can't put into words (even though I am a teacher and writer) how much I miss her. Words would not do justice to the deep pain and grief I feel. I deeply miss her every minute of every single day. I know she is with Jesus, and that I will one day be reunited with her --- this knowledge is what gets me through each day.

I just wanted to get your input on this question: Do you believe, as I do (and many other Christians, apparently, especially those who deeply loved/love their Christian spouses who have gone to be with Jesus) that we will be reunited with our beloved, and will [we] have a relationship with them that promises to be even better and more glorious that what we had here on Earth?

Thank you for your time. God bless.

Can you explain Judges 19:25, why does God allow this to happen? Seem like when you read the Bible women are less. Hard to relate with a God that allowed this to happen. Not only did they give her up willingly , the husband was found sleeping. She was being ganged raped & he slept.

"Is Assyria and Syria in the Bible usage interchangeable? If not, what's the difference?"

"I heard that OMG is taking God’s name in vain. If someone says that after hearing sad news, and says OMG but in a caring voice. Is that still in vain. I know I’ve said oh my God.... but it’s always when I hear about a terrible accident, someone is very ill but when I say oh my God, I always pray for for that person and ask God to heal them.  I’m not at all angry when I say omg. Is it still a sin if you say it in a sad voice and offer up prayers?"

"What qualifies the prophetic books to be prophetic? Why do we have major and minor prophets?"

"If "all" saints are resurrected at Christ's second coming at end of tribulation, then it appears that only "believers" with glorified bodies would enter the 1000 year millennium. If this is the case then where do the rebellious sinners that Satan deceives come from, who are cast into the fiery pit with Satan at the end of the 1000 years?"
