We learned from Jesus own words what it means to be His disciple...this is what you were created to be but sin got/gets in the way. Christ has come to place us back in this relationship and to be all you were created to be by walking as His disciples with Him as Lord.
If Christ is Lord then we must walk as His disciples. If we claim to be His disciples then we must walk with Him as Lord. Luke 14:25-35 gives a clear definition from Christ Himself what it means to be His disciples and whether or not we are or can be such. Let's be honest if we are not walking according to His word on discipleship then He is not our Lord.
Life is lived based on whoever is Lord/lord of your life and points to who or what is the priority/priorities in your life. Said another way, "Priorities reveal Lordship." Who/what does your life and priorities say is Lord/ lord of your life? We need to live our life and priorities according to God's Word with Jesus Christ as Lord!
If there are only 2 Kingdoms/kingdoms and 2 Lords/lords and they are Christ and Satan then we don't have a kingdom. This means we must be sure as to which Kingdom/kingdom we belong. You can because has made it so. Don't be deceived.
Satan's greatest ploy and deception is to convince us, just as He did Adam and Eve, that we can have our own kingdom. We can be lord of our own life...and God is okay with that. We need to dig deeper to know The Truth so we are not deceived as were Adam and Eve.
When all is said and done there will only be 2 Kingdoms left...Christ's Kingdom of Life and Light and Satan's Kingdom of Darkness and Death. You and I don't have a kingdom not matter how much we would like to be king or lord of our own life and those around us. We need to be sure to which Kingdom we belong...Pt 2 of 2.
