In Today's episode, I talk about one of the first book's on my "TBR'S" for this channel - The Assassin's Blade by Sarah J Maas.
This book is a collection of short stories that happened prior to the events in Throne of Glass.
My reviews are more like "Recommendations" and are a bit different because my reading style is a little different. I strongly dis like "flowery" writing and read over a lot of minor scenes.

When I first heard about V.A., I was told it was kind of like Vampires going to Hogwarts. After that, there was no further explanation needed.
V.A. has it's own take on Young Adult's in "high school" and I'm here for it. Lissa and her best friend Rose get into some serious ish and not only do they have to protect themselves from the Strigoi, but they have to watch their backs from some people who claim to be "friends."

GURRL. The Fever Series is my ISH! Some may say that this series isn't really YA, but it's also not and adult fantasy novel, so I'd say it's a mixture of YA/NA.
The Fever Series follows "Mac" as she heads to Ireland to investigate her sister's murder. She falls DEEP into the DARK world of the Fae and there's no turning back.
This series is EVERYTHING and I'm thinking about re-adding it to my TBR for next month. Hmmm...

The Caster Chronicles (Beautiful Creatures Series) is one of my all time favorite series.
This series follows Ethan Wate and the mysterious Lena Duchannes. Their relationship gives me all of the life I need and this story gave me so much inspiration for my books in the Destructive Series.
The follow up / spin off to this series is the Dangerous Creatures series which follows Lena's cousin and Ethan's best friend as they move to NYC.

In Today's video I talk about the difference in between screen plays and books.
The examples I'm using are the Fantastic Beasts & Where To Find Them screen play and the Harry Potter And The Cursed Child screen play.
The Fantastic Beasts movie was WONDERFUL and I loved every moment of it, and I learned while reading the script for it, I loved it even more.
I haven't been able to watch the play for Harry Potter as it's sold out for the next couple of years, but the screen play really gave me a full story and I was able to imagine everything that happened as if I were reading a regular book.

Okay, I'm really sorry if you love these books, but they're just NOT for me. Today, I talk about my first DNF (Did Not Finish) series and it's the House of Night series by P.C. and Kristin Cast.
These books aren't really long, but the series is WAY TOO LONG. I feel like the books are dragged on and on and on and that makes me sick.

Today's episode is a little different. I talk a little about my excitement for my 4th book because it's almost done!
Destructive Fate is the second book in the Destructive Series (Destructive Bliss Book One is featured in this video).
Destructive Bliss follows Fae teen, Aria Whitelace, on her journey to her reckoning. She must choose to be Light (like her family) or Dark (like HIM). If she chooses Light, she loses HIM. If she chooses Dark, she loses THEM.
Like I said in the video, this isn't so much me self promoting my book but sharing a book/world in the YA Genre that I LOVE.

The book featured in todays video is The Bane Chronicles (spin off from The Mortal Instruments). This book follows the High Warlock of Brooklyn, Magnus Bane. It's a collection of short stories from his LONG and CRAZY life.
