Harold Allan Clarke (born 5 April 1942) is an English rock singer, who was one of the founding members and the original lead singer of the Hollies. He achieved international hit singles with the group and is credited as co-writer on several of their best-known songs, including "On a Carousel", "Carrie Anne", "Jennifer Eccles" and "Long Cool Woman in a Black Dress".
Clarke retired from performing in 1999, but returned to the music industry in 2019. Clarke was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2010.

Patlansky is one of the world’s finest blues-based storytellers of his generation. Voted the #4 Best Guitarist in the world, Dan remains the only artist in the world with two worldwide #1, as well as two worldwide #2, Best Blues Rock albums to his name, as voted by Blues Rock Review USA.
His latest offering, Shelter of Bones, was released in February 2022, and as well as songs from that record and his back catalogue, Dan will be showcasing some brand-new "work in progress" tracks that have yet to be recorded.

Eva Gardner has made her own way in the music world and has played alongside some of the best in the music world including Cher, Gwen Stefani, and Moby to name a few, and has currently been with PINK for over a decade.
Though she is the daughter of British rock royalty bassist Kim Gardner, Eva was never encouraged to pursue a career in music.
Eva is also working on her own musical projects, which include a recent solo album, working with Julian Lennon.
In 1993, legendary engineer/producer Andy Johns (Led Zeppelin, The Rolling Stones, Rod Stewart, Eric Clapton) brings a Pignose amplifier and bass guitar to the Hollywood Hills home of British rock bassist, Kim Gardner. Kim, who was in The Creation and The Birds with Ron Wood, is surprised when Johns hands the bass guitar to his 14-year-old daughter, Eva. Johns then goes to turn up the volume on The Kinks’ classic “You Really Got Me” and proclaims, “Now this is a solid bass line!” Eva never looked back.
Eva began performing with live bands in her hometown of Los Angeles at the age of 14. Deciding to further her musical studies, she attended the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts. Eva continued her studies at UCLA, graduating with honors (Cum Laude), and earning a degree in Ethnomusicology.
Gardner's professional career began when she toured and recorded as the original bassist in The Mars Volta in 2001/2002. Since then, Eva has performed and toured with numerous artists worldwide, including P!nk, Gwen Stefani, Cher, Tegan & Sara, Moby, and Veruca Salt.
In 2014, Eva became the first female artist to have a signature bass with Fender. It has been released for public purchase and is available worldwide.
Eva will be touring with P!nk later this year.

Described by American Songwriter as “country arena rock”, Jessica Lynn has announced the dates and venues for her new 2023 UK headline tour.
Ahead of the tour, Jessica sits down with Dino Bedrocker to discuss the tour, her rise to fame, behind-the-scenes tour vlogs, musical influences, songwriting, family, money troubles, and other things Jessica Lynn.
Stateside, Jessica Lynn is famed for the spectacle and quality of her live shows and stagecraft — not to mention her TV specials — as well as the energy and excitement of her performances.
American Songwriter not only praised Jessica’s strength in “country arena rock” but also acknowledged her “genre-defying” range and appeal: “As a native New Yorker,” said the influential magazine, “the artist’s foundational country is heavily laced with rock and blues edges, as well as tinges of pop and soul.” What’s more, as they observed: “Love has its ups and downs and Jessica Lynn has the soundtrack for your emotional ride.”
Jessica’s music does indeed appeal to fans of Country, Country Rock and Americana, yet her appeal also reaches further afield to wider Rock-loving audiences. Proof of that was seen and heard when Jessica played Ramblin’ Man’s Outlaw Country stage back in 2017, Ramblin’ Man called her “The New Queen of Country Rock”.
Her 7-show tour will take place in July 2023, starting on 5th July (at Junction in Cambridge); then Jessica will playin Birmingham, Leeds, Manchester, Blackpool, and Southampton, before finally playing The Lexington in London on 12th July. Those who've been following the trajectory of modern-day guitar hero Chris Shiflett — outside of his role in FOO FIGHTERS — will already know of his musical mission to unite his SoCal rock roots and Nashville influences to create a fresh new sound altogether. In his latest installment, the longtime country-influenced-rocker called upon a couple of Nashville's finest practitioners of rock-influenced-country, Jaren Johnston (THE CADILLAC THREE) and John Osborne (BROTHERS OSBORNE),to join in on his brand new single, "Black Top White Lines". In their initial writing session, the trio kept throwing in line after line until the story was mapped out. Without spoiling the ending for anybody, Shiflett hints, "Thematically it felt like it turned a classic country trope on its head a little."
Arriving on the heels of 2022's "Born & Raised" and "Long Long Year", "Black Top White Lines" picks up right where Shiflett left off; albeit a bit more amplified. The quick-tempo song opens with a wall of unison guitars and doesn't once let up. Thick stacks of different guitar tones (some of which are provided by legendary session man Tom Bukovac and uber-talented multi-instrumentalist Charlie Worsham) ride the pulsing groove provided by drums and bass with lead licks punctuating the bars between each verse. Written with Johnston and Osborne via Zoom in the middle of 2020, it wasn't until Shiflett and Johnston were working out which songs to record that they realized just how rad "Black Top White Lines" could be. "Jaren and I were going over song ideas, and it'd been a minute since we wrote it, so when we re-visited the track he was like, 'Dude you gotta record this one…It's a banger!'," remembers Shiflett. "Right away in the studio I could tell it was a bit of a left turn for me musically but that's also what I like about it."
"Black Top White Lines" is the first listen from a brand new Shiflett album due out in 2023 via his new label home at Blue Élan Records, the Los Angeles-based independent label celebrating its ninth anniversary this year. Fans will hear more about the Jaren Johnston-produced LP in the coming months but can count on hearing an album that represents Shiflett's fully-realized vision of connecting L.A. to Nashville. "A big part of my inspiration to work with Jaren on this record was because I knew he'd push me out of my comfort zone into new territory," Shiflett says.

For more than 25 years, Shiflett has blurred the lines between genre and generation, balancing his full-band projects with a thriving solo career. Named "Americana's biggest rockstar" by Rolling Stone, Shiflett has played a crucial role in shaping the sound and scope of modern-day rock music as a longtime member of the FOO FIGHTERS. He's also an alum of California-based punk rock bands NO USE FOR A NAME and ME FIRST AND THE GIMME GIMMES. Shiflett's latest releases refocus his attention on a mix of country twang and rock and roll bang, showcasing the full range of his musical abilities.
Shiflett, a member of Foo Fighters since 1999, will release his third solo album later this year. Lost At Sea builds a bridge between his native California and Nashville, where Shiflett has become a frequent visitor, performing on the Grand Ole Opry one minute and collaborating with Music City tastemakers like The Cadillac Three frontman Jaren Johnston and legendary producer Dave Cobb the next.

Paul McDonald’s voice is immediately recognizable and impossible to ignore. Often compared to legends like Rod Stewart and Bob Dylan, his songs are relatable and universal. Born in Auburn, Alabama, he was raised on southern rock with bands like Lynyrd Skynyrd and the Allman Brothers, roots, country, and gospel music intertwined with the late 60's Laurel Canyon folk scene. He has been inspired by the authenticity and artistry of his heroes like Tom Petty, The Rolling Stones, Neil Young, and Jackson Browne.
As a child, Paul was obsessed with everything music related, but never considered the idea of being a musician until his father bought him a guitar for Christmas at the age of 15. He immediately started writing his own songs and playing shows around town and in high school talent shows, but it was still more of a hobby and form of self-expression than a career path. In college, he joined the school’s gospel choir and toured all through the southeast performing at small southern baptist churches. “It was one of my favorite seasons of life. I learned how to tune in with the higher power and sing from the soul.”
During this time, he was still writing his own songs and was pushed once again by friends to start playing in bars and local venues around town. By his early 20s, he had started a band and was touring and making records full-time. “It all seemed to happen pretty quickly and naturally. I’ve been carrying around a guitar since I was a kid, and as soon as I ever tried to go in a different direction (he was two classes away from majoring in Biomedical Sciences at Auburn University), the universe would always pull me right back to the music. It was like I was supposed to be writing songs and playing shows for the rest of my life. There was no other option….and I haven’t looked back ever since.”

Steve Vai and Favored Nations / Mascot Label Group have announced the release of VAI / GASH, a straight-ahead rock record that Vai recorded 30 years ago with his great friend, Johnny “Gash” Sombrotto.
VAI / GASH is released digitally and on CD on January 27, 2023. The vinyl album release will follow on February 24 .
Vai reflects, “Around 1990, I was overcome with a desire to rip out what I thought would be a straight-ahead type of rock record that contained the kind of music I wish I had to listen to when I was that teenager ensconced in the biker culture. And then I met Johnny “Gash” Sombrotto.”
John was born in Queens, New York, and as a youth was an avid motorcycle enthusiast. In 1977 at the age of 21, he endured a serious accident that caused his body to catch fire while plunging 30 feet onto a barbed wire fence. Vai wrote in the liner notes, “The doctors told his family that he had third-degree burns over 60% of his body and that if he even survived, there was a strong possibility that he would lose his right arm and left leg. While in the Burn Unit, he endured excruciating pain, especially when given the intense daily cycle of hot baths for his burns. He soldiered on, and after a month he was finally discharged from the hospital. Luckily, no limbs were amputated. He was, however, left with a partial left ear and layers of skin grafts over his neck, arms, legs, and entire chest.
The stories he told about his recovery and the excruciating pain involved were crushingly gut-wrenching. But he survived, and eventually thrived again. He made his way out to Los Angeles in 1982 and got right back up on his
motorcycle.”

British troubadour Connor Selby had a clear idea of who and what he wanted to be at a very young age. Upon discovering blues, soul, and folk music at ten years of age, he started on a journey that has taken him into the heart of the music he loves.
Raised in an Essex village, he has already trodden a path less traveled. Spending part of his early years in Connecticut, USA, he moved back to his home county before relocating to Dubai, UAE, between the formative age of ten and fourteen, and then back to Essex. Those young eyes soaked up the travels and the changes that were passing him by. Too young to remember Connecticut, he has fond memories of Dubai, "It was quite a contrast to England. I remember going to an international school and meeting lots of different people from all over the world, who like me, had recently been thrusted into this new environment. There wasn't the division that you might expect in a community comprised of people of so many different nationalities. We all bonded over the fact that we were in this new place, where none of us really felt we belonged to. Strangely, when I returned to England, I found people to be colder and I didn't feel that same sense of camaraderie and community that I experienced in Dubai, despite being back in my home-town."
One thing that kept with him was his burgeoning love of American roots music. "I got interested in not just the music itself but the history and everything around it," he says. "I wanted to learn and listen as much as I could. The artists, their lives, and their lineage. Tracing it back to see how it connects, like a tapestry. I think it's important for someone who isn't from that cultural background to treat it with the respect it deserves. You can't separate the music from its historical context."
"I love the directness, the simplicity, and earthiness of it," he adds. "I love really how down-to-earth; it is both lyrically and musically. I think with the blues, it's fundamentally about very basic human emotions. Things like sorrow and pride and exploring the way we deal with everyday situations and problems. I’ve also always been attracted to the authoritative quality of the music. As a kid and teenager, I was quite shy and not very self-assured, so I think it was a place for me to find a sense of power."

Patricia Ann Cole born October 3, 1946, known professionally as P. P. Arnold, is an American soul singer. Arnold began her career as an Ikette with the Ike & Tina Turner Revue in 1965. The following year she relocated to London to pursue a solo career. Arnold enjoyed considerable success in the United Kingdom with her singles "The First Cut Is the Deepest" (1967) and "Angel of the Morning" (1968).

Doug Aldrich (born February 19, 1964) is an American hard rock guitarist. He founded the band Burning Rain with Keith St. John in 1998 and has played with Whitesnake, Dio, Lion, Hurricane, House of Lords, Bad Moon Rising and Revolution Saints.
Aldrich is currently a member of The Dead Daisies and has also released several solo albums. Doug toured with former Deep Purple bassist and vocalist Glenn Hughes' band in 2015 and It was announced in early 2016 that he would be replacing Richard Fortus as the guitarist of The Dead Daisies.

After being friends for decades, former members of The Muffs, The Pandoras, and The Friggs, Kim Shattuck, Melanie Vammen, and Palmyra Delran, finally decided it was time to start their own band together. Kim and Melanie first played together in The Pandoras and went on to form The Muffs, meeting The Friggs’ Palmyra on a Pandoras tour. The uber-talented trio is now known as The Coolies—a female-fronted super group backed by decades of rock stardom, who are using their platform to combat ALS.
The Coolies dropped their self-titled debut EP in the summer on 2019 and have donated 100% of the proceeds from record sales to support research for the ALS Association. Living in different cities, the six-track EP was recorded at both West and East Coast studios and mixed by Grammy Award-winner Geoff Sanoff.
From the very first track, “Uh Oh!,” bubbling down to “Yeah I Don’t Know,” The Coolies dabbles in fizzy pop, punk, and pure rock, an essence that’s perfectly captured by its psychedelic 3-D vinyl cover.

Gun are a hard rock band from Glasgow, Scotland. The band currently consists of brothers Dante Gizzi (lead vocals) and Giuliano "Jools" Gizzi (guitar), along with Paul McManus (drums), Andy Carr (bass) and Tommy Gentry (guitar). Starting in 1989 with Taking on the World, Gun have released seven studio albums, three of which have made the UK Top 20, and had eight UK Top 40 hit singles. The most successful of these was a cover of Cameo's "Word Up!", which reached the top 10 in 1994.
Fronted by Mark Rankin for their first four albums, the band disbanded in 1997, but reformed in 2008 with Little Angels singer Toby Jepson taking over lead vocals. After recording a new EP in 2009, Jepson left the band the following year, and Dante Gizzi moved from bass to become Gun's new lead singer. With this new lineup, Gun released three more albums in the 2010s: Break the Silence (2012), Frantic (2015) and Favourite Pleasures (2017), which became their first top-20 album since 1994.
The band continues to tour and record, and recently celebrated their 30th anniversary in 2019 with a new compilation album, R3L0ADED, and a sold-out show at Glasgow's Barrowland Ballroom. The band are coming back with an album based on reworkings of songs from throughout their career, "The Calton Songs", released October 14th, 2022.

Michael Philip Des Barres born 24 January 1948, the 26th Marquis Des Barres, is an English actor and rock singer. He appeared as Murdoc in the original MacGyver (1985 TV series), Nicholas Helman, Murdoc's mentor, on the new reboot of MacGyver (2016) and replaced Robert Palmer in the band the Power Station, fronting the band at the 1985 Live Aid concert.
The only child of Marquis Philip and Marquise Irene Des Barres, Michael Philip Des Barres was born and brought up in Hove, Sussex. He attended Repton School, a boarding school in Derbyshire, and went on to attend the Corona Academy drama school in London and appeared in several plays. He has some French ancestry. His title of Marquis was bestowed upon a 12th-century ancestor, a French knight.

Joseph Satriani (born July 15, 1956) is an American guitarist, composer, songwriter, and guitar teacher. Early in his career, Satriani worked as a guitar instructor, with many of his former students achieving fame, including Steve Vai, Larry LaLonde, Rick Hunolt, Kirk Hammett, Andy Timmons, Charlie Hunter, Kevin Cadogan, and Alex Skolnick; he then went on to have a successful solo music career. He is a 15-time Grammy Award nominee and has sold over 10 million albums, making him the bestselling instrumental rock guitarist of all time.
In 1988, Satriani was recruited by Mick Jagger as lead guitarist for his first solo tour. Satriani briefly toured with Deep Purple, joining shortly after another departure of Ritchie Blackmore from the band in November 1993. He has worked with a range of guitarists during the G3 tour, which he founded in 1995. Satriani has been the guitarist for the supergroup Chickenfoot since joining the band in 2008.
Satriani sits down with Dino to discuss his new album "The Elephants Of Mars", how lockdown was a big part in enabling its creation, throwing off the restraints of protocol, and the chances of a Chickenfoot reunion.
