The story behind the song title is simple: I was dreaming about people and their secrets. Then I awoke and people drifted away. And so did their secrets.
The song "Ride This Crisis Out" is a positive song simply saying that we will overcome the crisis. Two versions of the song are published, an electronic pop and an acoustic version, to reach more people with this positive message.

I was thinking of Al Pacino singing "Speak Softly Love" and wanted to record something like this. But it should have a rock arrangement.
Synthetic voice, sounds like Manga. This is a computer generated voice. I tested a new software (new for me). It sounds very Japanese. That's where the software comes from.
Worked on a new song and this was the result. I threw it away. Too oldschool, too less enthusiastic.
The music is a test of the guitar sound. Listen to the guitar. Even on long tones the guitar seems to move, there is no stand still.

I know Miky Mishmash from Cannes, where I travel to every year in June. Miky told me about a song she wrote and that she wanted to record it.
Spontanously we recorded in her living room with a microphone her song. These recordings were forgotten but one year later, in June 2017, when I revisited Cannes she remembered and were going through the wav files. Bad sound quality, but I promised to make something out of it.
So the challenge was: Take a given melody and make chords and finally record a song. I remember her wishes. No straight rhythm, because that is boring. And something smooth, emotional (oh, so woman like).
Now here is the result.
And because I like Sacher cake I purchased one for breakfast and produced a music video. I cannot say what was more pleasant: shooting the video or eating the cake.
