More wind turbines will be coming to McLean County after the board approved a special use permit Thursday night. One farmer, Tim Jolly, said this felt like another defeat. The permit allows for up to 64 new turbines over 14,000 acres in Bellflower and West Townships. Jolly,said he was first told he could not make a public comment, but then was allowed but only if he did not mention the wind farms..otherwise he'd be shut down and silenced....

Chenoa, IL area resident Tim Jolly describes what happens when windmill blades fall off their turbine towers. Main stage performances: Canadian Brass, Jack Settle, Dallas Brass, Tina Guo, Grady Nichols, and Wynona Wang have been postponed to the 37th OKM Festival, June 2021. Verona Quartet has been postponed as a future performance and the University of Oklahoma Symphony performance scheduled for October 4, has been cancelled for 2020 with hopes of rescheduling in 2021.

Cherokee Nation Principle Chief Chuck Hoskin Jr reacts to the United States District Court for the Western District of Oklahoma ruling that the compacts with the State of Oklahoma automatically renewed for an additional 15-year term on Jan. 1, 2020. The Cherokee Nation, the Chickasaw Nation and the Choctaw Nation filed a lawsuit against Gov. Kevin Stitt after Stitt said the gaming compacts were up for renegotiation after the compacts expired. The tribes said the state renewed the compact automatically according to language in the compact.
