Basing House
Located at the south end of Kingsland Road in Shoreditch, Basing House is an intimate, 300 capacity venue that opened in 2010. Basing House operates a late-license, opening each Friday and Saturday – with occasional Thursday events. A large volume of external promoters and labels curate the venues music programme. Basing House’s sound is supplied by Funktion-One and also features a roof terrace, which doubles as its smoking area. Friday and Saturday play host to house, disco and techno events.

This week on the Basing House Mix series we welcome Good Morning Midnight.
Aside from Basing House, Good Morning Midnight have hosted events at 93 Feet East, Bloc and Egg featuring an array of artists including Left Wing & Kody, Bassel Darwish, Alvaro AM, Davina Moss, Riaz Dhanani, George Smeddles, Raffa FL, Will Taylor, Jack Swift, Ellie Cocks and Artikal.
For this edition we offer up two very contrasting mixes.
The A:Side from Good Morning Midnight promoter Devon Rivers stays true to form and is a soundtrack to what we have been missing on the Good Morning Midnight Dancefloor with beats from the likes of Enzo Siragusa, Rich NxT and Seb Zito. The B:Side from Crashh Agency Radio, is an R&B mix filled with nothing but vibes.

Since their launch party at Basing House in April 2019 they have gone on to book line ups featuring Jess Bays, Emma Knight, Ferreck Dawn, Larry London, Saffron Stone, Late Replies and Marco Strous in what was a great first year of events for the brand.
As per, we have two mixes for you and this week both a geared up for the dancefloor, which i’m sure you’re missing just as much as we are.
The A:Side is by Rubicon promoter Reuben Anderson who has produced a deep tech mix with a couple of techno tracks thrown in for good measure. The B:Side from Hayley Wallace, is a fully loaded tech house mix, with an infectious underlying groove.

We’re back for another edition of the Basing House Mix Series and this week the focus is on Fak3 Music.
Fak3 Music is house music record label based in London with their first release dropping in 2017. They then quickly followed this up by throwing events to champion their sound.
Having previously hosted nights at Egg London and Work Bar, amongst others, Fak3 Music’s first event at Basing House came in late 2019 with headliners Ellie Cocks from Abode and Aaran D from Solid Grooves. It was their 2nd Birthday, the venue reached capacity early and It’s safe to say that they duly smashed it. We quickly offered them a home and with their next event headlined by Pat Wilson & Emma Knight, it was more of the same.
Keeping their foot on the gas they then locked in Sorley from Repopulate Mars and Defected for a sadly now postponed event, although we will get this back in the diary once we get the green light to reopen.
Fak3 Music have provided us with two mixes. The A:Side is from resident Technite, who stays true to his roots with a bouncy energetic vocal house mix. The B:Side, where we ask for something a little different and off piste, is by resident Wantz, who has put together an uplifting disco house mix perfect for sunny afternoons

I’d like to welcome you to the first edition of the Basing House Mix Series. To get things started we welcome good friend of the venue Zaki from Muak Music.
Muak began life in 2003 as one of the first deep house events in East London. Over the following years it became a mecca for deep House lovers with artists including Kerri Chandler, DJ Sneak, Osunlade, The Martinez Brothers, Kaskade, Dennis Ferrer and Kollectiv Turmstrasse having all played at Muak events and that’s just scratching the surface.
Out of the events naturally came a record label, which is now 97 releases old, including the release of Zaki’s solo artist album in late 2019. Away from Muak, as an artist Zaki has also taken the time release on the highly respected outputs Innervisions and Suara.
Zaki has provided us with two mixes. The A:Side is what you would expect to hear of him in clubland and the B:Side a compilation of his own releases.

I’d like to welcome you to the first edition of the Basing House Mix Series. To get things started we welcome good friend of the venue Zaki from Muak Music.
Muak began life in 2003 as one of the first deep house events in East London. Over the following years it became a mecca for deep House lovers with artists including Kerri Chandler, DJ Sneak, Osunlade, The Martinez Brothers, Kaskade, Dennis Ferrer and Kollectiv Turmstrasse having all played at Muak events and that’s just scratching the surface.
Out of the events naturally came a record label, which is now 97 releases old, including the release of Zaki’s solo artist album in late 2019. Away from Muak, as an artist Zaki has also taken the time release on the highly respected outputs Innervisions and Suara.
Zaki has provided us with two mixes. The A:Side is what you would expect to hear of him in clubland and the B:Side a compilation of his own releases.
