Many of my clients have gone on to start their own career in health and wellness, and through the years I’ve spent more and more time supporting health coaches with business and marketing. Today I’m chatting with Katie Cooper, who had wonderful results years ago as a private client. Today she’s a certified health coach herself, working with healthcare professionals.
I didn’t know it when I recorded this interview, but as it turns out, this is the final episode of She’s Got Power. It’s a fitting episode as I transition to focusing solely on helping health coaches build their businesses. Thank you so much for listening. Are you feeling worn down, experiencing symptoms you can’t explain despite receiving “normal” lab results, or just overwhelmed by going through life? You might be experiencing burnout, something that’s as common as it is debilitating.
Today’s guest Stephanie Graves experienced a level of burnout so extreme that it took her years to get to the root cause and turn her life around. She made a breakthrough when she found functional medicine and nutrition. And if you’re looking for a way to beat burnout too, functional medicine can help you prioritize your physical, emotional, and mental health.

So you know what? There is no episode this week. There is no episode, I guess. I am here to just tell you there is no episode. Because every time I look at my calendar, there's more stuff. There hasn't been a break in weeks. In months.
And I thought, I can't not record my podcast. I have to record my podcast. It's on my calendar every week. We're always putting out the new episode a few weeks ahead of time.
And this week I thought, I have nothing to say. I'm feeling quite burnt and I'm positive that many of you listening can relate. So I want to let you know that there is no episode today. I'm going to take a bath. I am going to take myself out to dinner. My kids are with their dad tonight, which is a nice break in a way. And I'm going to have dinner. I'm going to come home and take a bath. And that's it.
And that's it.
And I'm telling you, because this is your permission to say no to something. Not because you don't like it. You could like it very much. I love doing this podcast, but I just don't have it in you. It's these no's that we have to learn how to say out loud: "No, I'm not going to do that." Even when you feel like you really, really have to. But I'm positive that we are all going to survive if there is no episode this week.
We’ve all felt that masculine energy of pushing our way forward or climbing the next rung on the ladder. In today’s episode we’ll explore the feminine side with guest, Maren Oslac. She shares how her many years as a partner dancer helped her embrace femininity and learn to be rather than do as a high achiever. If you’re wondering what comes next after a life of hustle…this is it.

Or as our guest Michelle Warner describes in this week’s episode, you may find yourself flat on your back, unable to move.
It’s time to learn the difference between working hard vs. way TOO hard.

Trying to DO everything and trying to BE everything. This is exactly what many women fall victim to and it’s showing up in our health in unexpected ways. Today on the podcast, I am sharing why recovering from burnout is not a straight line and why we need to stop holding ourselves responsible for #allofthethings.
I’ll be diving deep into my personal story and sharing the nitty-gritty of how I became well-versed (maybe too well-versed) in this topic. I see doctors using medications to mask symptoms, but I’m going to encourage you to confront the root cause. It’s a much more powerful solution.
Are you ready to look at the big picture in your life?

Hello! Welcome to my brand, spankin’ new She’s Got Power podcast. I’m your host, Michelle Leotta, a health coach trained in integrative and functional medicine who helps women recover from burnout and chronic stress. On today’s episode, I share a story about how people pleasing and perfectionism caused a cascade of effects in one woman’s body, including poor digestion, inflamed skin and carrying around extra weight.
This show is definitely NOT about eating healthy so you can lose weight and fit into your skinny jeans or drinking a green smoothie because its “trendy” or anything like that. This is about women feeling powerful and being a force in the world. It’s about needing every ounce of calm, clear-headed strength that we can collectively get.
