Ryan was raised in Medicine Hat, Alberta. Upon graduation from the University of Alaska Fairbanks, he earned a free-agent hockey tryout with the New York Rangers. Ryan has discipled student-athletes at UAF since 2010. He and his beautiful wife, Andrea, have five children.

Colton Boomer
Colton’s was born and raised in Lake Mary, Florida, where he grew up immersed in various athletic pursuits, from soccer with Orlando City Youth to discovering his passion for football. Some of his hobbies include golf, fishing, building trucks, shooting and occasionally wrestling alligators. When Colton needs to relax he enjoys building Star Wars lego, Fortnite, and playing piano.
Colton’s values are tied to his faith, his family, and football. He tries his best daily to live in Jesus’ image. He reads the Bible daily and his favorite verses are John 3:16 and Proverbs 11:22. If anyone ever is in need of a prayer, please send him an email. Colton’s goals in life are to succeed both on and off the field putting God first in everything he does.

Josh grew up in the small town of Woodland, WA where he spent much of his time in sports. Being recruited by a few universities, for wrestling, he decided on Boise State, where he competed from 2013-17'. Having been spiritually impacted by an on-campus Christian ministry called Cru, during his junior and senior years at BSU, he had a gut feeling that his career path would be tied to his Faith. A few years after graduation, God called him to a role in ministry with FCA Wrestling. As the Idaho Director for FCA Wrestling, Josh is excited to see wrestling coaches and athletes grow in their relationships with Jesus.

Amaia Black grew up in a strong Christian home in Homedale, Idaho, where she played sports all through school. After marrying her high school sweetheart, Wade Black, they moved to Montana for his rodeo scholarship at Montana State University. After 5 years, they moved back to Idaho to start their family. Her husband and her have a family business, Training for the Cross, LLC, which focuses on training horses and ministry. Together, they raise four children, Asa Mateo, Josephine, Cylas, and Samuel—who share their love for sports and rodeo.
Amaia feels a strong calling to disciple young people, emphasizing their worth and identity in Jesus over achievements. She is excited to join the Fellowship of Christian Athletes to help build their equine and rodeo branch, while also being an Area Representative and serving a couple local schools. In her free time, Amaia enjoys activities with her family including riding, roping, playing games, and attending her kids' activities and competitions.

Sammy has been involved with FCA Idaho as a volunteer for a couple of years! She came on staff with FCA in Idaho in the summer of 2025. She served as the Head Soccer Coach at the NW FCA Sports Camp in 2024. She played soccer collegiately at Northwest Nazarene University where she received her BA in Kinesiology/Health Education and then received her Masters in Ed Leadership in 2012. Sammy came to FCA with a 17 year teaching career. She has also coached a variety of sports for 20 years. She loves Jesus, family, sunsets and all things outdoors!

I'll just take a moment to soak this all in. The moment to be here, and I will start out by telling you this, how in the world do you go from walking on your junior year a week before the season starts, your junior year at the Southern University, that's right, Ohio State, it's the Southern University.
There are so many people that I could thank, teammates, coaches, mentors. There will be some I'll call, but some I just want to right now up front say thank you so much to every teammate at Arizona and every teammate in St. Louis. I could not and wouldn't be here without you. But as I sought this journey, and I don't want to sound morbid or anything like that, I want to tell you something, this is an intentional journey. I am No. 287 and because my name is the last name Williams, I am the last one in my induction class, but I also want to say thank you to the 32 owners, Roger Goodell, DeMaurice Smith of the Players Association, and here's why, because tough decisions have to be made that are unpopular, but the success and promotion and enjoyment of this game with the fans is because of the important decisions that are made that allow us to be here and celebrate with you the fans and all of these great Hall of Famers that I get an opportunity to sit up here with.
I've got two statements, if you don't remember anything I say. Two statements if you don't remember anything else I say. Begin with the end in mind and die empty. Begin with the end in mind and die empty. So let me tell you about this journey. It all starts at home. And I wouldn't be and could not be without the foundation. See I've heard a lot of speeches, I've listened to them, believe me. But I want to tell you it starts with Lawrence and Lillian Williams in New Orleans, Louisiana. Mom and Dad, I need you all to stand up. Dad is up here as a presenter, my mother is seated there. Now these Hall of Famers and all, they've all been voting on who is going to cry.
Now you know that two of the guys, my first two haven't cried. Now I'm going to cry. I'll be you up front, I'll give you notice. I think it was General Schwarzkopf, in an interview with Barbara Walters, and Barbara Walters said, “a big general like you, are you going to cry? General Schwarzkopf said I'm afraid of a man that won't cry.”
To the dais with the induction, being in an induction class with the first punter. I've been seeing all these guys that lift their legs for a living around Canton, Ray Guy. Also to be in an induction class with three from the Historical Black Colleges. Michael Strahan, Texas Southern, Claude Humphrey, Tennessee State, and that's right, yours truly, the Southern University. Now let me begin to give thanks where thanks is due. I never had to look outside my home for role models. My two older brothers, Malcolm Williams, Achilles Williams, stand to your feet, brothers. Malcolm's debonair president of his high school class was about 5'7 or 5'8. He was one of the toughest linebackers you ever wanted to see. Achilles, my role model 18 months older than I was. I really modeled my life after Achilles. I followed his example, and I'll tell you a little bit about that later.
But I wanted to personally and publicly thank you guys for being my role models and allowing me to see, because more is caught than talk. Thank you, guys. You may be seated.

Sammy has been involved with FCA Idaho as a volunteer for a couple of years! She came on staff with FCA in Idaho in the summer of 2025. She served as the Head Soccer Coach at the NW FCA Sports Camp in 2024. She played soccer collegiately at Northwest Nazarene University where she received her BA in Kinesiology/Health Education and then received her Masters in Ed Leadership in 2012. Sammy came to FCA with a 17 year teaching career. She has also coached a variety of sports for 20 years. She loves Jesus, family, sunsets and all things outdoors!

In high school Bill played football where he was the Quarterback. He was also a high school All American in wrestling and was voted NJCAA Wrestler of the year in 1979. Bill holds black belts in four different styles of martial arts: 1st black in Hawaiian Kenpo, 1st Black in Okinawa Kobudo (weapons), 3rd Black in American Kenpo and a 4th Black in American jujitsu. He is a retired High school chemistry teacher of 39 years, football coach for 34 years and former team Idaho pole vault coach for 32 years.
He has multiple Idaho State Championships in rifle shooting - Rimfire Silhouette and Centerfire Silhouette. He has been married to Melanie Barr for 36 years and has three daughters: Micaela Barr a graduate of BSU, Chelsea Barr a graduate of NNU and Aubrielle Barr a graduate of BSU. He was vice president of his college sports ministry team called AIM (Athletes In Ministry). He was a YoungLife advisor and leader before getting involved in FCA. He was a Huddle group advisor for student-athletes and coaches for 19 years. He has helped coordinate and organize Fields of Faith events throughout Canyon County and has been the head pole vault coach at the FCA PNW Camp since 2008. He has currently taken up the sport of archery and sees the potential of this sport to impact multiple generations for the glory of Christ.

Pami has been serving with FCA Idaho as a College Area Rep since May of 2022. Born and raised in San Diego, CA, to a family committed to serving the local church and supporting the San Diego Padres, Pami was raised in church and on a softball field. She played softball, soccer, and field hockey through high school and then decided to pursue a bachelor's degree in Athletic Training from Point Loma Nazarene University. It was there, that the Lord called her into ministry through sports medicine. As a Certified Athletic Trainer, Pami went on to complete her Post-Professional Master's degree in Athletic Training from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Starting in 2014, Pami worked for 7 years at PLNU as an Assistant Athletic Trainer, serving the collegiate student-athletes not only through her work in sports medicine, but also through team bible studies and one-on-one mentorship and discipleship. In 2021, the Lord moved her to Boise, ID where she entered into full-time collegiate sports ministry with FCA. She is excited to be involved with the Kingdom work of spreading the gospel through the influence of coaches and athletes at Boise State University.

Brandon Lambert, a California native, grew up with a passion for sports and community. After years of coaching, discipling men, mentoring youth, and volunteering, he discovered a powerful way to bring all of his passions together. Barb Lindquist’s triathlon career highlights her consistency, perseverance, and excellence. Of her 134 pro career starts, she won 33 races (25%), stood on the podium 86 times (64%), and had 114 top 10 finishes (85%), covering all distances from sprint to Ironman, specializing in the Olympic distance. She beat the Australians on their own turf by winning their coveted F1 Series twice, was ranked #1 in the world from 2003-2004, and represented the USA in the 2004 Olympics in Athens (9th). In 2010 Barb was inducted into the USAT Hall of Fame.
Lindquist made it to the top of the sport by dedication to hard work, an easy-going spirit, and insights from husband and coach, Loren. Her “off the front” racing style and her ability to leave it all out on the course gained her the respect of her competitors and admiration of fans around the world. Barb’s passion to the sport is balanced by her Christian faith and joy of life in her home state of Wyoming. Barb loves to tell people, “I have the best office in the world.”
After retiring from racing in 2005, she began to coach triathletes, to inspire others by sharing her story through public speaking, and to work part-time for USA Triathlon.

Growing up in Nampa Idaho and going to Nampa Christian High School, God gave me a love for sports like baseball and skiing. The Lord also blessed me with a strong passion and creative eye for storytelling and videography that I now get to use for His glory as the marketing coordinator in FCA Idaho! I could not be more excited to tell the awesome and inspiring stories of what God is doing in and through the ministry. I can't wait to further His kingdom using my gifts and abilities to be a loudspeaker for both FCA and the Gospel. Our world is dominated by so many voices in the media fighting for our eyes and ears and, especially, the attention of our children. But in faith and through the power of the Holy Spirit, I can use my camera to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ; the greatest and most important story in all of humanity.

I grew up riding dirt bikes but gave them up when I went off to college to play basketball. Now after nearly 30 years of coaching high school basketball, and after 5 years as the Area Director for Central and Eastern Oregon FCA, God has drawn me back to motorsports as a platform to make disciples who make disciples. In the role of PNW (Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, and Alaska) Director of Motorsports. Through FCA’s ministry model of being used by God to connect peoples’ passions for their sport to their relationship with Him. My team seeks to be used by the Holy Spirit to connect to people with a passion for motorsports and disciple them into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and His church.

Kaitlyn grew up as the youngest in a big family in Nikiski, Alaska, where she actively participated in a variety of sports. She attended George Fox University where she continued her volleyball and track & field careers while also diving deep into the Christian community and FCA! She helped lead Bible studies on her team and was a SALT leader in her huddle where she enjoyed getting to grow and promote fellowship amongst her peers. After graduating and marrying her husband, Ethan, they relocated to Post Falls, Idaho, to be closer to family, embark on new adventures, and cultivate a strong community. Kaitlyn is eager to support the athletes and coaches of North Idaho, and to be a part of the incredible work God is doing in the area.

As an athlete from a small town in VA, Mikel understands how easy it can be to find your identity in sports. Sports left his life in early college and he asked, “Who am I now?” Thankfully, a group of young men came alongside him in a discipleship journey where they did life in a circle. Their love for him and investment in him lead him to attend an FCA Camp in 2014 where he finally saw that his true identity and sonship was in Christ alone. Since then he has been passionate about doing the same for others through local church leadership, creative outlets and storytelling. Mikel serves the Pacific Northwest as our Creative Director, hoping to help other coaches and athletes asking the same question, “Who am I now?”

Christian Rose is a former Northwest Nazarene University Basketball player. He played forward from 2020-2024, and averaged 20.6 minutes, 4.4 rebounds and 6.0 points per game. He was also part of the team that one the GNAC tournament in 2023.

Coming from a supportive family, Carter was raised strictly on academics, but he found a liking in sports. Carter attended college at Contra Costa College, then San Francisco State, and finally George Fox University, where he played basketball. As a basketball coach, he maintained that his athletes must take their studies seriously, as good academic performance would give them access to college and other opportunities in life.
This belief was put to the test when, as a high school basketball coach at Richmond High School, he locked out his undefeated team for not honoring academic and behavioral contracts. While the community was outraged at first, public opinion eventually changed, and Carter was praised for his determined emphasis on prioritizing good values for his team. His approach also bore results: every one of his players at Richmond, where he coached from 1997 to 2002, graduated The story of the 1999 season is the basis for the 2005 film Coach Carter, with Carter played by Samuel L. Jackson.

I spent 38 years teaching in public school. The last 15 years I taught dual credit CHEM 101 for CWI. My educational back ground is in Physical Education, Health and Natural Science. I spent 35 years coaching Football and Track in the state of Idaho. I am married and have three daughters that have graduated from college; one from NNU and two from BSU. I am also on staff with FCA as the area rep for outdoor ministries. My hobbies include camping, fly fishing, long range & silhouette shooting and archery. I look forward to meeting you in class.

Famous Idaho Potato Bowl FCA Breakfast

Breakfast for sports fans to come together in fellowship and to hear testimonies of college athletes and their coaches who have the honor to play in the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl Game the next day. This year we are privileged to have College Football Hall of Famer & National Champion as well as NFL Star, Rocket Ismail speak at our 2023 FCA Bowl Breakfast this December!
My father was career military and he and my mother retired at William’s Air Force base in Arizona. The last of six children, I grew up in Scottsdale and attended Coronado High school, where I was a two sport athlete and earned athlete of the year honors in 1986. After signing a football scholarship to Northern Arizona University I graduated with a degree in Criminal Law. As a part of the Lumberjack football program I earned the honor of two time All-American and was named Captain of the team in my final two seasons. In 1991 I signed with the San Francisco 49ers for a two-year stint in Pro football. After football concluded I began working with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and I've been a leader in the organization for 25 years and currently hold the position as Vice President in the Rockies Region. One of the roles I held was as chaplain for Arizona State University's football program for sixteen years. Phoenix Arizona is my home, where my college love Lise and I are raising our two children, Sara and Anthony. I enjoy giving time to the community as a coach at the high school and youth sports level.

I've always been motivated to do my best. I will never give up on myself or my team mates. I am Christian in faith which is a huge part of my life and that helps me become an overall better person/athlete. I am very competitive, not just in sports. For instance, I was Midvale Sr. High School's Valedictorian of 2019 and plan on putting even more work into being the best I can be throughout my first year of college at the University of Idaho.
I am also extremely committed to anything I take part in. To give an example, in my four years of high school, I spent over a year of it on crutches due to both a busted navicular bone and a chainsaw wound. Despite these injuries, I was still a part of the varsity basketball team and went to every game. I still took part in my 4-H project and showed my project on crutches. My grades were not affected by these injuries either, if anything, they got better. I believe these examples show true dedication and commitment.
Lastly, I would like to express that an investment, of any sort, made in me will not be wasted and here is why. I genuinely believe that true work ethic and maximum effort simply have no downside. Furthermore, I have always loved the gratification of true hard work. I tend to be the guy who runs an extra lap at track practice because I like the pain and know I'll be a better athlete for it. During a basketball game, I'm the guy who dives for the ball even if that means sliding into the bleachers at full speed because I know that could be the difference between winning the game or not. Most importantly, I know there are people out there far less fortunate than I am. Many of these people are working, fighting just as hard or even harder than I am to make the best out of their lives and I see absolutely no reason to give less than one-hundred and ten percent. In turn, I may be able to help lift those less fortunate up.

I am from Kennewick Washington and played for two years at Columbia Basin Community College where I got to help start the FCA Huddle there. I graduated from Northwest Nazarene University with degrees in Youth Ministry and Spiritual Formation. I was blessed to play Baseball there for 3 years which included playing outfield on the 2021 World Series team where NNU finished 5th in the country! The Lord used all these things to help me gain experience in FCA. I attended the NW FCA Sports Camp the summer of 2019 as a Huddle Leader, and served at that Camp for 5 summers! I was also blessed to serve at the NNU FCA Huddle as Huddle Leader. I have also served as an FCA Baseball Coach the last 4 years here in Idaho.!

I grew up riding dirt bikes but gave them up when I went off to college to play basketball. Now after nearly 30 years of coaching high school basketball, and after 5 years as the Area Director for Central and Eastern Oregon FCA, God has drawn me back to motorsports as a platform to make disciples who make disciples. In the role of PNW (Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, and Alaska) Director of Motorsports. Through FCA’s ministry model of being used by God to connect peoples’ passions for their sport to their relationship with Him. My team seeks to be used by the Holy Spirit to connect to people with a passion for motorsports and disciple them into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and His church.

Pami has been serving with FCA Idaho as a College Area Rep since May of 2022. Born and raised in San Diego, CA, to a family committed to serving the local church and supporting the San Diego Padres, Pami was raised in church and on a softball field. She played softball, soccer, and field hockey through high school and then decided to pursue a bachelor's degree in Athletic Training from Point Loma Nazarene University.

Dr. Ben Gall completed a 21 year college coaching career at the end of the 2021-22 academic year and is excited to focus more of his energy on coaching athletes pursuing their personal goals while balancing all of the responsibilities of life.
A runner for over 30 years himself as well as a husband and father of three boys he understands the challenge of balancing training with everything else. From the age of 30 until 38 he did not race, but as 40 approached the idea of racing again started to resurface. He has completed a total of 13 marathons, most recently the 2022 Chicago Marathon (2:38:48) and the 2023 Boston Marathon (2:37:28).
He and his wife Rachel live in Boise, ID. where they like to spend time outside with their three very active boys, visit local cultural events and restaurants, as well as spend time with family.
Running Record:
–Great Potato Marathon in 2006 – Winner
-Top 15 at the Portland Marathon in 2006
-Top 25 at the California International Marathon in 2007. He ran again in December 2021, and qualified for Boston Marathon.
-Idaho Falls Marathon August 2021 – Winner
–Boston Marathon in April 2019, 2022, and 2023

Have you heard of Grace Lyons-Turk? You may know her as Grace Lyons, the five-year starting shortstop and team captain for the Oklahoma Sooners Softball team, who gave God ALL the Glory during the press conference after winning the Championship Title.
Grace and her team's dedication to using their status as a team to give God the Glory in everything they do is truly inspiring. How do you create this type of culture on an elite college team?
“People ask how does the culture get like that—How are you guys known for singing about Jesus after a game?” Lyons said. “It has to happen within the circle, in the team. You have to have someone who's willing to stand up for that, but then you need others coming alongside them who want to be a part.”
Post-college Lyons is setting up the next steps with FCA and is ready to transition from college sports into college ministry.

Josh grew up in the small town of Woodland, WA where he spent much of his time in sports. Being recruited by a few universities, for wrestling, he decided on Boise State, where he competed from 2013-17'. Having been spiritually impacted by an on-campus Christian ministry called Cru, during his junior and senior years, he had a gut feeling that his career path would be tied to Christianity. A few years after graduation, God called him to a role in ministry with FCA Wrestling. As the Idaho Director for FCA Wrestling, Josh is excited to be used by God to make an impact in the wrestling community of Idaho and the PNW.

Ben Bost is the Co-Founder of the Love & Transformation Institute, a non-profit organization dedicated to leveraging the love of God to transform individuals and organizations by providing resources and creating experiences to inspire change and influence society.
A former professional golfer, Ben transitioned his years on the course into mentoring world-class athletes and business leaders. From 2006-2016, Ben was the Senior Director for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes Golf Ministry. During this time, Ben served as chaplain during spring training to the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim through Baseball Chapel and the traveling community on the PGA Tour. In 2010, Ben helped launch and then ran GAMEDAY, an immersive tour golf experience still available for families that was featured on Inside the PGA TOUR. Ben holds a BA in History and Religious Studies (UCLA, Baylor University) and an MA in Biblical Leadership from Phoenix Seminary. He lives in Eagle, Idaho with his wife Carrie, and three children

Training for the Cross, LLC, is a family owned and operated business focused on producing well rounded bridle horses that have been ridden on the ranch, shown in the arena and ridden by everyone in the family. Wade and his family live in Homedale, Idaho with his wife Amaia, and children, Teo, Josie, Cy and Sam. TFTC LLC horses are used through the TQA Non-Profit program which is focused on instilling correct muscle memory in youth ranging from K-College. Wade and Amaia try to keep a solid string of horses that the family can use to do ranch work and compete on in rodeo. This same string of horses is used to help educate students through TVCC’s performance horse series and shown by the TVCC Stock Horse Team. Due to the large number of solid horses needed through the TQA program, we only sale enough horses each year to help cover the expenses, which is usually only two horses per year.

WARRIOR CAMP Director: Derek

Chase and Zack are young kids. God created them in and calls them to, a sacred, masculine identity in Him. But they don’t fully know what that is, or where to find it. So, they both may tend to ricochet their way through childhood and adolescence without really discovering God and being inspired by who He created them to be. To make it tougher, Chase and Zack have had a hard time finding clear tracks worth following. Then there’s the popular cultural idea that all the real fun exists outside the church, Christianity is boring, and God resembles an angry boss who likes to squash our fun. During Chase and Zack’s limited exposure to religion, it hasn’t been bad, but they’re starting to look elsewhere for something more.
2. The Solution
We believe in the power of fun to create inroads for the Gospel. We believe if it’s Christian, it should be better. We believe legitimate fun is God’s idea, and creating it should be our masterpiece. Warrior Camp is passionate about reclaiming the lost territory of legitimate fun that rightly belongs to God. How do we do this? Through designing and hosting the most epic games, challenges, and activities we can imagine, all to give Campers an experience pulsing with unforgettable fun, and that brings honor and glory to Jesus Christ! (BTW, if you love duck-duck-goose or cheesy VBS games, sorry but Warrior Camp isn’t for you!).
Pete and Jake are both unique leaders of integrity, enthusiasm, adventure and passion for God and His Word. They love hanging out with kids and youth, pointing them to the Risen King Jesus Christ, and re-igniting the fire of Biblical Masculinity in the way God intended. They also love competing in epic games, forging rock-solid bonds of brotherhood in Christ, and seeing God inspire a generation of boys and men after His own heart. As Pete and Jake connect with the Campers at Warrior Camp, the walls start to come down and Chase and Zack get excited about the new thing God wants to do in their lives.
Derek, President of the Board
Derek grew up in Idaho catching bugs, tadpoles, and frogs, riding bikes, climbing trees, and renovating his family's spider-infested crawlspace into a boys-only-hideout complete with defining codewords and ninja turtle vibes. God blessed Derek with parents who's love and devotion to Christ were clear and contagious. Even though the highschool environment wasn't easy, God used the public school context in which Derek ascended, to light a fire for bold, uncompromising faith that was passionate to 'give an answer' (1 Peter 3:15) and invite friends to church/youth group. After highschool, Derek attended and graduated from Liberty University with a BS Degree in Youth Ministry and an MA Degree in Apologetics. Ken grew up in Idaho and attended Meridian HS. He went on to wrestled at Northwest Nazarene University where he was a NAIA National Wrestling Tournament Qualifier. After college, Ken taught and coached at Kuna High School for 15 years. Ken started FCA at Kuna HS in 1997 and started taking athletes to FCA Camp in Wyoming in 2001. Ken joined staff with FCA in Idaho in 2005 were he has served the last 18 + years. He currently oversees the FCA staff and volunteers in Idaho. He also is the Director of the Northwest FCA Sports Camp. He loves seeing kids and coaches come to Christ and have their identity found in Him. He counts it a privilege to work alongside the FCA Staff and Leadership Board and numerous volunteers in Idaho. Ken coached a total of 26 seasons here in Idaho in both Wrestling and Girls Lacrosse. Ken is married to his wonderful wife Judy for the last 34 years! They are blessed with 3 amazing daughters and two great son-in-laws!
