God created us for relationship, not religion. Let’s discuss life through the lens of that relationship.
Religion is the Tabernacle of the 21st century. Over centuries, thepractice of the Christian religion has been taught better than the importance of having a real relationship with God and activating the Holy Spirit. Through that, we’ve mass produced cultural Christians who assimilate to the culture of Christianity without the power and identity that’s supposed to accompany the belief.
The banishment from the Garden of Eden after the Fall and The Law were actually protection and direction for Mankind. All in God's never ending request to restore us back to the Garden; back to communion.
The Garden of Eden was a cradle for communion. Let's journey back there as we seek to find our purpose in Christianity.
As I'm reinvigorating the podcast, this episode reviews the"why" behind the statement "I Am Not a Christian".
In the 21st century, we have watered down what it means to be "Christ's people" so much so that the very definition of the word Christian doesn't even support our identity. Christianity has become a culture of boxes to check, not a royal priesthood of disciples with power and authority over this earth. It's become a religion that's palatable and marketed to promote the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow vs. the story King who's Kingdom is here! Through our powerlessness in Christianity, we've mass reproduced malfunctioning parts of the Body, meanwhile, the world is still waiting for The Church (the organism) to be hope in this dark place.
I am not a Christian because my identity is not religion. Itis sonship. I am an heir, I have power, I have communion with the one and only true God right here and now. I am a child of the King, I am a disciple, and I am Kingdom.
Transitions in your relationship with God means that Manna and Quail won’t last forever.
I want to introduce you to a new understanding of Holiness predicated on you being "worthy" and "chosen". Being worthy or chosen isn't a benefit of being holy but it's rather what Holiness is. It's a calling; it's what God calls us to and the reason that He calls us to it is because He is holy.
This gives that word an entirely new connotation that's not predicated what YOU do for God but what God did for you. Holiness is apart of who God made you because of Who He is and the fact that you are His.
Your identity in Christ WAS NEVER intended to be validated by the principles that you follow. It was NEVER intended to be confirmed by your attendance to church. And it was NEVER intended to be judged by man. Your identity in Christ stands because you are here. He made you and that makes you His.
Religion should only be the door that leads you to relationship with God, not your identity.
