New Creation Mash Factory created his first mashup in 1995 on a manual reel to reel four track (2 Unlimited vs. Jello Biafra). He worked for the One on One Sports radio network, starting as an unpaid intern in 1994 and worked his way up to producing the nationally syndicated John Renshaw show, along with associate producing Around the NFL. He studio produced broadcasts for the Olympics, Super Bowl, BCS National Championship game, and produced remote broadcasts from the Kentucky Derby. He left radio in 1999.
In 2011, three songs with the F word in the title of the song (Cee Lo Green, P!nk, and Enrique Iglesias) were in the Billboard top 10 in the same week. This event inspired New Creation Mash Factory to begin creating mashups again, and technology has come a long way since then (free downloadable technology for a PC is far better than the top of the line equipment for radio in the 1990's). As he became a Christian in 2009, this inspired the name New Creation Mash Factory and a significant number of his mashups have Christian themes. Many of the mashups on this page were performed live in 2018 for the show "Mashups: When Songs Collide" by the Children's Theatre of Elgin and Fox Valley Theatre Company
