Ten lepers were cleansed by jesus but only one came back to Jesus praising God. If we cannot thank God for what we have, perhaps we should give thanks for what we do not have.
Jesus' resurrection was a promise that all will be resurrected, all will find new life and hope in God.
In John's Gospel account we overhear Jesus talking with his disciples about their relationship. Jesus tells his disciples that the teacher-student, master-servent relationship will change to be a relationship oh friendship.
Mary Magdalene was the first to discover the empty tomb, first to tell the disciples, first to talk to Jesus (mistaken to be the gardener) and first to witness the wonder of the resurrection. Christ is risen! He is risen indeed!
