It was mentioned a few episodes ago that 80% of photography start-ups failed in the first year and the main reason for that is most likely photographers were not getting enough work. BUT we tell you how you CAN get regular work and be sure of a regular annual income!

It’s a wrap! The Photography Show and The Video Show held 17, 18 and 20 September at Birmingham’s NEC, brought together thousands of photography amateurs and pros alike to hear from a global range of speakers and try the latest kit from major brands.
The show, the largest of its kind in the UK and Europe, had a packed line-up of renowned speakers, 250 major brands, along with masterclasses, talks, live demos and we were there to see it all happen.
The Super Stage programme began with internationally renowned creatives Chase Jarvisand Colin Prior. National Geographic photographer Cristina Mittermeier gave a sensationaltalk followed by You Tuber Jack Harries. Multi award-winning photographers Roberto Valenzuela, Christina Ebenezer and Kaylee Greer wrapped up the show on the final day.

Live from Thailand! Well sort of... In this week's episode we're joined by Kendrix Thomas in Vietnam. Owner of Freedom of Photography, Kendrix focuses on landscape and nature photography and works with non-profits and NGOs to provide them with digital content.
Born and raised in the United States, he's lived and travelled all over the world. Thailand was his home for about five years and he's usually based in Central or South America.

Mark graduated with a BA (hons) degree in photography in 2003 and my first 'professional' photographers job was with Venture in 2005, He was there for just over 10 years, starting as a trainee and finishing as their 'Style Director' which is basically their Head photographer. As head photographer Mark was in charge of the other togs and delivered the training required. Mark now runs his own wedding and portrait photography business from his studio in Hugglescote Leicestershire.
