Isa kang alipin ng inyong korporasyon. But don't worry, this podcast gotchu. Mercs and Manny, your typical corporate slaves, will talk about the usual topics in the office na parang nagdadaldalan lang tayo, with the hope of getting all of us involved, even if you are just in front of your computers.
With the first episode of 2023, napag-usapan namin ang mga ganap sa office after the holiday. Nakalimutan mo ba ang password mo? Miss mo na ba ang aso mo agad? Excited ka na ba to be a different person this 2023? Lahat 'yan napag-usapan namin this episode, plus a few tips para makapag-adjust ka agad. Kasama din namin ang first appearance 4th and last regular addition namin, si DC! Asa backseat lang daw sya lagi sa episodes at magbibigay lang ng input pero parang hindi kami naniniwala.

2022 may be ending but not this podcast! After 2 years, sa wakas we were able to record, edit and publish an episode. Joining us is the newest host of the podcast: Rho! A corporate slave by night and streamer by day (cos GY shift, gets mo ba? haha). We kept it light and smooth this episode. Nothing about work, puro significant personal events lang for the past year and ang walang kamatayang New Year's Resolution for 2023. Catch up lang tayo, mga Alipin. It has been a tough year, but let us welcome the new year together. Napaka-cheesy.

It's a fresh year para sa ating lahat, at isa sa mga naiisip ni Mercs ay kumuha ng postgraduate degree. Dahil dyan, nag-invite tayo ng guests na currently ay pinag-sasabay ang kanilang work at pag-aaral. We have Noriko, who is currently taking up MSPSYC - Major in Clinical Psychology sa DLSU Manila, and Allen, who is studying Juris Doctor sa UP College of Law. I know mga bigatin ang ating guests, and both of them have their own fulltime work! Maraming nakuha sa kanila si Mercs, and we are sure na kayo rin ay maraming matututunan from them!

After months of no recording, finally, kami ay nagbabalik!! Gusto talaga naming ituloy itong podcast dahil dito kami nakakapag-labas ng aming stress. Isang malaking dagok ang kinakaharap natin ngayon dahil sa Covid 19, at hindi nagkukulang ang balita tungkol sa mga kababayan natin dito sa Pilipinas. Pero sa episode natin ngayon, lumipad ang aming team sa Australia para makamusta naman natin ang lagay ng ating mga kababayan sa abroad - kung paano sila nag-aadjust sa ecq at ang mga paghihirap na kanilang pilit nilalampasan. 15 days into quarantine and for sure, marami na tayong namimiss sa outside world. Dahil dyan napathrowback si Mercs at Manny sa mga bagay na namimiss nila bago maglockdown, na siguradong makaka-relate ang lahat.

Pang-ilang araw na ng ating community quarantine, at dahil nasa bahay lang tayo, isa sa problema natin (bukod sa kung paano magrereport kahit nakawork from home) ay: "Anong papanuorin ko?? Wala na akong mapanuod!!". Kaya wag kayong mag-alala, we got you covered. Sa episode natin, magsusuggest kami ng mga palabas na pwede nyong panuorin. Para sa unang linggo na tayo ay naka-work from home, nag-isip kami ng paraan para mas lalo pa nating makilala ang mga kapwa nating alipin ng korporasyon. Naisipan namin na gumawa ng series ng episodes kung saan mag-iinterview tayo ng mga tao mula sa iba't ibang field. At yaman din lamang na parehas si Mercs at Manny na accountants (at walang makalabas dahil sa ncov scare), syempre uunahin na muna natin idiscuss ang tungkol sa Accountancy! Hi workmates! Isa lang itong summary ng recent pronouncements relating to the NCOV threat dito sa Metro Manila as of 11:30 pm ng March 12. Tulad ng palabas na pinag-bibidahan ni Coco Martin, ang spotlight ng ating episode ay tungkol sa mga atapang atao na mga "promdi"! Kasama rin na makikipag-kwentuhan ang ating first (official) guest na si Van mula sa lugar ng mga oragon: Bicol! Ang dami naming napag-kwentuhan tulad ng experiences, hardships at syempre mga nagustuhan nya dito sa Maynila! Tulad ni Papa Ethan at Joy, may isa pang bagay sa ating buhay na pwedeng panandalian lamang - ang ating mga trabaho. Pwedeng napatalsik ka kasi nahuli kang nagnenetflix o nakikipag-relasyon sa boss mo, pero ang paguusapan natin ay ang kusang pag-alis o resignation. The first part will be a heavy one dahil puro identification ng usual reasons natin for resigning, pero sa second half, Mercs and Manny will try to share some steps we can take together towards our resignation, para sa ekonomiya!
