Two lifelong hoopers & former college teammates who’ve experienced success and failures conduct interviews and open discussions about all things basketball. From players and topics regarding Canada’s USports & College to the NCAA & NBA, this podcast aims to shed light and educate hoopers on the trials and successes of the hoop journey.
CCAA All Canadian & LA native John Smith credits his work ethic and confidence for his accomplishments. Never really finding his footing in high school, John spent 1 year at JUCO before eventually crossing the border to Canada and enrolling at SAIT. (CCAA). During John’s tenure the program has turned around and won 4 straight ACAC championships. John, nicknamed “Almighty”, shares how he developed the ultimate confidence in himself and why he carries himself as such.

Rashawn Browne joins the guys at Drive and Kick. From Toronto, ON, Rashawn was not always the most touted player but always found a way to make the most of his situation. From winning a Canadian National Championship in high school, to his first collegiate stop at New Mexico State (NCAA D1) Rashawn faced a series of highs and lows. All the work came to fruition at UManitoba (USPORTS) where Rashawn became an All-Canadian and propelled himself to ROY Runner-Up in the CEBL. Today, Rashawn continues to pursue his goals on and off the court while playing in the CEBL as well as helping others achieve financial literacy.
