The Rushworth Podcast is aimed at simply talking about how we are feeling. My names Boe Rushworth, I am 23 years old and have found that all my favourite podcasts to listen to about mental health, self-improvement and lifestyle are from older adults, so I wanted to create one from my own perspective. Growing up, I suffered some mental health issues that stemmed from growing up with a few bumps along the road. I personally find that the best therapy for me is, to simply talk about it. Whether talking to a psychologist, or my best mates, simply talking about how I was feeling really made me feel better, and this is the aim of The Rushworth Podcast.

Today I had the pleasure of talking to my good friend Bryson Mari. On todays episode we also spoke of how social media is changing how we communicate with each other, the ever-growing need for alcohol when we go out for the night, and how clever marketing is influencing you in ways you probably didn't know.

Welcome to the very first episode of The Rushworth Podcast!
Hey, Im Boe Rushworth, and I am 23 years old. The Rushworth Podcast is aimed at simply talking about how we are feeling. Growing up, I suffered some mental health issues that stemmed from growing up with a few bumps along the road. I personally found that the best therapy for me was, to simply talk about it.
A lot of my personal favourite podcasts to listen to about mental health & self-improvement are from older adults, so I wanted to create a podcast from my own perspective. Whether talking to a phycologist, or my best mates, simply talking about how I was feeling really made me feel better, and this is the aim of The Rushworth Podcast.
Today I had the pleasure of talking to my good friend Curtis Turner. Curtis is a surfer, photographer, sign-writer and is currently living the van-life. Today we spoke about why it is hard for young people to reach out for help, simple steps you can do to look after our planet better, and how 2020 is the easiest time to make a living doing the things you love.
Curtis is a all-round top bloke that I always love having a chat to, and I got a lot out of today's talk.
Enjoy!
