I'd noticed during the first Stranger Things that seemed to be a lot of subtle references to the Grant Morrison comic book series, The Invisibles. Then Stranger Things 2 came out, and the names of the Invisibles characters were literally written on the backgrounds of the walls in that season's least-popular episode.
So, this is a breakdown of all that. Looking at the connections, and trying to intuit what can be implied by these connections.

This was all before STRANGER THINGS 2 came out, which made some remarkably overt INVISIBLES references. Look forward for a part 2 to this series, where I'll dig into that!

Daredevil and Ghost Rider are totally owned by some huge companies. Marvel Comics and Disney entertainment, and all that. So obviously this is not for profit, and is just a little thing I threw together for fun.

For the record, I came up with the idea at work on Sunday, wrote the script on Monday, and edited and posted it on Tuesday. I'm not saying that's worth of praise or derision, just that it's an aspect to keep in mind; this was more of a sketch and an outline. I'm sure if let myself, I could've worked out a whole script, but after a point you have to say, how much time do I want to put into something I can't really develop anyway? But hey, it's still fun to tell stories! And I enjoyed thinking up this one, and telling it you!

Back in 1989 Marvel had a pilot made for an X-Men cartoon series. The series itself was never put into production, but the pilot made it out into the world, and has been the stuff of legend ever since.
To help you synch this commentary track up with the video, I spoke the opening lines of the theme-song along with Magneto. Easy-peasy. Just start playing this commentary track as the cartoon begins playing, and it should be fine.
