Let's call this episode, M.T. with the Tea. The hosts discuss the Niecy Nash and Jessica Betts wedding. This was a shock, right!  As a fan of Jessica Betts, she has much information to share. There are also links below to check her music out. They also discuss Jerry Falwell Jr and his wife Becki's alleged daliance with Giancarlo Granda. The hypocrisy of those who love to criticize our community.

For fans of P-Valley, well, there is a discussion about that as well. At the end of it all, the hosts go back to their roots...The Source. What a way to end this episode.

This question is raised because of a post that M.T. saw. It asked if the black LGBTQ+ community have to wait their turn when it comes to oppression. BLM has come under attack from many who have an issue with part of their mission statement. When those who supported the movement find out that there is support for the black LGBTQ+ community, they turn away. The issue is that the black community have a problem with us and feel that they are accepting the community if they support the movement. Truth is, we are all oppressed and marginalized  and we must find a way to support one another in order to achieve our goals. Enjoy the show!

Do you know of someone who claims to have been delivered from homosexuality? Well, M.T.'s buttons were pushed when two authors in a group presented their books on them being delivered from homosexuality. She believes that this is a myth and that is what this show is about. Honesty and transparency can be challenging when it comes to the church's relationship with those who are homosexual. Often it comes with the word "demon" attached to it. The picture that gives those inside and outside of church is troublesome. Most times the view is that some are victims of some type of trauma and those are often the ones who claim deliverance. Which bodes the question, "Were they truly homosexual?"

We hope that you enjoy the show. If so, please like & share!

June is Pride Month and we usually have our local Pride festival this month as well. However, due to COVID-19, it has been postponed until later this year. Despite this, we wanted to discuss what is happening with Pride regarding inclusion. Why is there a need for a Black Pride or any other Pride? There is a divide.

We also discuss being Trans and being in the church. That is a difficult place to be and part of the reason for that is because Christianity is basically a patriarchal religion. What do you see when you think about God? This image has caused many communities to doubt their worth.

We are all aware of what is happening in this country right now. For those in the black community, it was never a secret. It was just not believed. For many in the white community, the visual shocked them out of complacency and disbelief. Many were moved to action. There are many moving parts in this protest. Join us as we discuss this.

2020 has been a year, right? There is only so much people can take. It showed this past weekend and into this week. Life is so good, yet we have run into those who make us question it. It is so difficult right now. For those of us in the black community, we knew that this was coming. We just did not know when or how. If the bear is asleep, let the bear sleep. But no, the bear was poked. Now, everything that many in this country tried to deny and hide has been revealed. Welcome to the apocalypse...the Revelation that so many are waiting on may be here. "Revelation", "an unveiling or unfolding of things not previously known and which could not be known apart from the unveiling". If you didn't know, now you know what this episode is about. Police brutality can no longer be denied. White privilege was on display in Central Park. Let's talk.

Many in the LGBTQ community come from places where they were not accepted. Some have been kicked out of their homes with nowhere to go. So when you are blessed with family and friends that accept you for who you are, you can be surprised and feel extremely lucky. But what do you do when those very people turn on you due to something going on in their lives? What do you do when they turn their noses up and thump their bibles at you all the while forgetting that they have not before, nor are they now, living some kind of pious life? Welcome to the latest discussion between Spiritual Studd and M.T.

While those in the scientific and medical/health fields warn of the dangers of gatherings of 10 or more people, some in the spiritual/religious world feel that they are being kept from  worshipping. Of course, our hosts have much to say on the subject.

Join Spiritual Studd andM.T as they travel back in time to Moses, Pharoah and the Plagues. When God sent Moses and Aaron to ask the Pharoah to free the Hebrew slaves, he provided them with power to bring certain plagues upon the Egyptian people. For those familiar with the story, after each plague God hardened the Pharoah's heart. The question is, "why?" While we are going through this pandemic, let us look at this story and the God at the center of it.
