Our lane is synonymous to our life and is intended to be ran within our own boundaries. When we veer outside our lane, we fall prey to violations and disqualifications. To retain our peace, joy, and understanding, let’s just stay in own lane and aim to win our race.

Have you ever been invited someplace but when you arrived, your insecurities and self-doubt caused you to question whether or not you belonged there? Well, the mere fact that you were invited was the indicator that you belonged.

Rushed decisions can leave us with overwhelming feelings of regret, or adverse consequences. Slowing down can give us time to think and process all options. You’ll thank yourself later for the slow roll and wise choice.

The negative vibes and projections of others, although out of our control, can feel very personal and may influence our behavior in a negative way. I’ve learned not to dwell on the emotions of other folks. It ain’t personal, so keep soaring and continue living blessed!

When most people hear the word submission it stirs up a negative reaction. Submission, to some people, is a non-attractive flaw because it can be viewed as a sign of weakness. Truth be told, submission ain’t for the weak, it is for the wise.

Sometimes we can take a look at something and discard it before totally considering its hidden value. They say, beauty is in the eye of the beholder — meaning, what one person finds beautiful, others may find ugly, and vice versa. Before we discard, let’s be sure we haven’t mistaken a treasure for trash. Be blessed!

During our life journey we will explore certain things, people, and places and discover this ain’t what we anticipated. If we settle for what ain’t it, we run the risk of birthing frustration, resentment, anger, depression, and doubt. Don’t settle, keep pursuing until you can honestly say, YESthis IS it, because you deserve to get what you desire.Be blessed!

During this life, we will experience seasons of pain that seem so horrific it is difficult to see anything better. However, if we endure — if we remain steadfast — if we can just stay the course, we will get on the other side of pain and discover that very pain pushed us into purpose. Be encouraged because there is another side to the pain you may be currently experiencing and it is beautiful over there. Be blessed!

Sometimes, taking a stand for what we believe to be right could cost us everything and give the appearance that we have lost. However, if we keep our peace, dignity, and honor, the cost will be pale in comparison to the level of self-esteem and self-value we retain.  Standing up for our well being may be costly, but we get to determine if it was worth it.  Be blessed!

If we desire success in our pursuits, it is imperative to come into agreement with the process. Sometimes when we’re going through the process season, we may become weary, unsure, and may even grip the handle of fear.  However, during the process season we must remain flexible in order to make appropriate adjustments if necessary. Delayed outcome doesn’t mean it isn’t going to manifest, it just means we have to keep trusting the process until we get the results we desire.

Sometimes speaking out of season can cause more problems than solutions. Although our opinion may be valid or even informative, if the timing, tone, or audience is wrong, Wisdom will speak and say, just hush. If we choose to speak out when God says hush, we can create mess and experience delayed progress. So let’s just hush when Wisdom speaks. Be blessed!

If we live long enough, devastating, threatening, and unexplainable stuff that seeming is not working in our favor is going to happen.  However, we have to be mindful not to make permanent decisions based on temporary circumstances.  Sometimes all we need to do is pause so we can reset or reconsider our circumstance and then proceed in a way that retains our hope and expectation of success.  Brothers and sisters, do not put a period where a comma belongs.  Selah!

We can literally talk ourselves out of being successful.  Before we know it, starting and quitting has become routine. Staying committed until we get what we’re after must be the main thing.  Sometimes that will require a change in our attitude or our thought process.   Instead of saying I can’t,  we have to decree that we can, we will, and then don’t stop until we do.  If success is our goal, then commitment matters.  So, it’s time to step up our commitment game and get that desire done!  Be blessed!

It can be really frustrating when you try to help others who say they want help, but there is no followthrough on their intentions.  As the saying goes, you can lead a horse to water, but you can’t make it drink. You can remove all the possible excuses from someone, but until they are really ready to drink the water, they just may be willing to die of thirst because of their stubbornness or single-mindedness.  It is time to release yourself from the assignment until they are really ready to drink.  Action will always speak louder than chatter.  Be blessed!

When it comes to handling our own business, we can sometimes experience setbacks and confusion because we unnecessarily solicit advice or approval from others.  Sometimes the advice, although good for them, is not best for us.  Receiving feedback from others isn’t necessarily bad, but the ultimate decision of how business will be handled lies with us.  At the end of the day, if our approach gives us peace of mind then it’s all good.  It is our business, so our way of how we want matters to be handled has final say so.  Be blessed!

Just because someone else’s space looks more attractive than yours, doesn’t mean that it is better.  Learn to be secure in your own space because just as you might admire the space of others, somebody is admiring your space because truth be told, your space looks pretty good too.

Sometimes we instinctively look for the likes, approvals, and accolades of others, and it becomes emotionally problematic when we don’t receive them.  Not everybody is going to approve of what you have to offer, and that’s got to be OK with you.  Don’t look for a 100% approval rating.  Just endeavor to be a blessing to the one who is positioned to receive what you have to offer, and be thankful for the opportunity to extend the blessing.

Unexpected, sometimes messy stuff confronts us.  To come out of a challenging situation betteras opposed to being bitteris a personal choice.  If we purpose to do so, we can come out of an ugly situation as a betterfriend, spouse, sibling, parent, child, student, employee, employer, or just a better human being.  So, the next time you’re confronted with a not so pleasing situation, choose to come out of it better, not bitter.  Be blessed!

If you don’t want to stay miserable, you can’t surround yourself with miserable people.  If you believe that happiness, joy, peace, hope, love are your portions, you've gotta be more selective about the company you keep.  Since misery loves company, make the decision that is not the kind of company you want to keep.  Seek out the good vibes club only and live blessed!

Never allow yourself to be in a position where you are not ready to receive the desires of your heart.  Stay ready. We can have dreams of achieving a certain level of success, but if we are not ready for the capacity, the blessing can become a burden.  When preparation collides with opportunity, destiny manifests. So, stay ready and be blessed!

There are somethings that may not be wise to do because they aren’t pleasing to God, or not His best choice for you.  Although you may have the liberty to do as you please, you don’t have to do everything that others are doing, just because they are doing it.  You are not everybody else, and God’s expectation of you might be different than His expectation of others.  Not better, just different.  Endeavor to wisely use the liberties that you have been endowed with, so you can please God in all your doing.  Be Blessed!

Troubling regrets can make us feel guilty and ashamed for a lifetime. Regrets can rob us of peace and taint our integrity.  A lesson learned is that if you don’t want regrets to trouble you,  be very intentional not to do or say anything that you will later regret. The truth is, even if you do something in an effort to make up for what you've done, there will always be nagging feelings of regret because of the offense.  By all means necessary, to avoid a set-up for a lifetime of troubling regrets, pause and think about the consequences before proceeding with the action. Be blessed!

If 100 is the goal then 99 and a half, although it looks better than 90, 95, or even 99 it still is not 100 —  so it’s incomplete.    It’s an almost, but still incomplete.  Complete satisfaction comes when the goal is achieved.  It is important to stay the course no matter how slow the journey or how many obstacles get in the way.    What happens when you settle for 99 and a half?  You just won’t be satisfied, so press on until you achieve 100 because 99 and a half won’t do.  Keep pursuing because you’re almost there.

It can get frustrating when we look at the total picture and we see our limited resources, the limited time that we have in a day, or the limited amount of energy that we have. We might even get frustrated and stuck not even moving forward because we look at what seems overwhelming. It’s time to take on our endeavors one bite at a time.  If we’re consistent, we will make progress and achieve our goal.

Enough is defined as the required amount of something. It means sufficiency.

Sometimes our own voice and the voices of others try to convince us that what we have to offer is not enough.  Whatever you have to offer the world, your family, your friends, or just in general, it’s enough.  Ignore the nay sayers and give your offering. Somebody is waiting to receive it. Be blessed!

Sometimes the plans that other people intend to work against us ends up working in our favor.  So don’t fret about people who seemingly are working against you because it turns out that they are really the ones that are helping to advance you.  Instead thank your enemies for helping to advance you to the place you’re supposed to be.  Stay blessed!

All our well intended planning is still subject to change.  Having a flexible demeanor saves us from disappointment, anger, and bitterness.    Life happens and requires the ability to change when necessary. There is no need to get angry, hurt, or disappointed. If we want to abide in peace and calm, then we must live our life practicing flexibility.  Being flexible is not only doable, but necessary.

We can have good memories of the past, but it is unhealthy to think we can repeat or recapture it. Reflection is good, but recapturing it is not realistic.  The past is called the past for a reason. It means it is gone by in time and no longer exists.  The sooner we come into agreement that we can’t recapture the past, the sooner we can embrace opportunities to level up — be better and do better.  Choose to strive for what lies ahead and just let the past go.

Distractions can derail us and even destroy us.  Distractions come through people and circumstances.   Bottom line, a distraction is a thief that hinders progression.  Therefore, choose to have a made up mind that the thief, aka, distraction, will not hinder your destiny because you intend to remain razor focused on what's going to propel you rather and impede you.

In order to avoid regrets, sometimes we just need to remain silent until the emotional storm passes over, until our circumstances change, or until we get a better grip of our emotions.  Silence is a powerful weapon that the enemy does not see coming, so let’s exercise our right to remain silent. Be blessed.

People who betrayed, rejected, dishonored, disrespected, and abandoned us were merely vessels used by Satan (aka the devil).  He is the real enemy of our soul.  The good news is God’s Word encourages us to not fret our real enemy because God will always take care of us.  1 John 4:4 says, greater is He that is within us, then he that is in the world.

Living in the moment simply means that we thank God for the NOW moment we’re in and appreciate it.  If we’re experiencing bad circumstances, we don’t necessarily thank Him for them, but we thank God that He is with us in the circumstance.  If we wait until we’re out of the circumstance before we pray to God, thank Him, or petition Him, we miss our promise of peace in the moment.  Practice living in the moment and be blessed!

After we receive the promise from God there will be a “meantime”.  During our meantime season, God wants to increase our faith level.  Satan will tempt us to quit and get out of position.  Let’s not lose faith because after we have completed our meantime season, we will arrive at our next season that will manifest God’s promise.
