Not an episode, but a comment.
Oh,. and if you see anyone buying into Nullification, remind them that the Civil War was already fought and lost in the 1860s... Retrying that bullshit, is as old as the graves our honored lie in, and should be as dead as those honored dead.
If we give in to States rule, we'll have Anarchy, and a few deciding rules that will eventually apply to all of us, can you say California Resources Board and their over-reach? You can thank them for limits on gas cans, of all things.
Do people not realize HOW insanely expensive it is for each state to maintain it's own elected officials? How much corruption and waste exists at the local level? How much injustice exists there too? Can you say Jerrymandering?
I say, get rid of the states all together, save all that tax payer money... and truly be 'The United State of America'.
For you libertarians, think of how HUGE a tax local government is on the local economy, and how colossally inefficient it is having 50 sets of laws, 50 ways of doing things, 50 printed constitutions, 50 sets of government buildings that are totally redundant, in this age of the Internet, high-speed communication, the ability for social media to accurately reflect the will of the people, and present real news?
Oh for the good old days, before governments existed at all...
If you liked this, please lookup 'sarcasm' in the dictionary...
This week, I talk about getting laid off, the social costs, mental health issues, and general thoughts on the matter.

On borrowed time, that's how I see legacy IT going forward, lots of things are going the way of Commodity, first it was Mainframes to Midframes, to microservers, now VM farms to Data Centers. It is a natural progression. Think Evolution and the Ephemera, we learn, we fail, we improve, and automate. As we automate and learn, we can do more faster, with less and less effort. Why waste time on non-value adding efforts and activities? If you are in IT, think about how you offer and deliver service. Public Clouds are here to stay, deal with the risk, the security, learn faster, fail even faster, and the rewards will be many and bountiful.
