Oceans are declining in fish species and coral reefs due to overfishing and pollution that it is becoming an extremely large issue that must be handled. In fact, the US is losing $50 billion dollars every year due to some subsidies for fishing and making some species go extinct. The ocean covers three-quarters of the world, but what if all the opportunities people got from the ocean were halted? If the income, jobs, food, water, and power from the ocean were all stopped our economies and world would be extremely different and extremely damaged.
