Based on a Manga/Anime also known as Ore Monogatari!! Takeo Goda, a new freshmen in highschoool, has no luck with girls. To kick off our series, we watched The Battle: Roar to Victory (2019), a film about the first victory of the Korean resistance in battle. It was the first victory the Korean people had won after its declaration of independence through the March 1st Movement. The Japanese forces cross the river into China to pursue of a band of independence fighters in order to crush the morale of the Korean resistance. However, they are met with a surprise as the guerilla tactics of the freedom fighters lure them into a devastating trap.

So much to love in this "happy go lucky" movie, but questionable if it makes our series cut.

The last movie covering this series ends on a high note! Released in 2017, the story follows an emotionless high school student who be-friends a dying classmate. She takes him on an adventure to full fill all her last wishes in life until she dies of terminal illness. Despite the misleading title, this movie is full of some laughs, happy memories, sad moments (expect tears), and a romance? Somehow this became our favorite movie in the disaster series, it even made D.K Cry.

This Samurai, action- packed adaption turns out to be a pleasant surprise. This series of disasters is turning out to be not so bad. With a good cast, fun characters, a plausible plot, and top notch fight sequences, there's a lot to like with this movie. For the next movie on the line up is Lee's victory being Death Note (2006).
