not having posted any tech episodes since november i thought i'd search my hardrive for a set and found this one, ready to be unleashed to the rest of the world..... it starts slow, dirty, and glitchy but groovy, with tracks from Farben and BrunoProsato and moves on to more dance floor friendlly sounds from the likes of DanBerkson, Phonique,Tigerskin. 'Flashback' feels a little out a place in here but it made its way into the mix somehow but everything else following it's nothing but sweet love and head bangers: Werners housy bleeps, Samim&Michals mesmerizing grooves, Shannon and his organ infused track, Hacke's piercing your ears, and it ends with a classic classic track from Isolée. yumyum!

special mix for ya! recorded live in cleveland 2-2-07...... this is something i'm getting more and more interested in but dont get the chance to play out as much. if your familiar with the grime/dubstep scene, you know how big it is in uk. for those who dont know, look it up and turn the low end controller to the max while listening!! i was doing this set at a party in town, local bar called carabar, and the system was loud and i was right next to it while playing: i swear i was floating on those bass frequencies! jeahh...

so last gig of the year turned out to be unusual for my regular playlist but i had the opportunity to play out material i dont usually play so i went out and had a blast with it! there's not much to say about these songs, very classic stuff and as usual i've kept the mix tight with not much variation in styles. it starts out slow and gets up to about 120bpm towards the end of the set.. this is very fun, dancy stuff, goes well with driving out in the country or dancing with your pet.

things are a bit slow this time of year but i'll keep posting, just not as often. this is the last show recorded live ,couple of weeks ago, and it's one of my favorite so far. for starters, you have couple of tracks from none other than alex under, producer from madrid and cmyk label manager, and both tracks are number 3 from Multiplicanciones and Multiplicanciones2. fusiphorm slowlly brings us to my favorite mix of two tracks : villalobos w/suesse cheques and parish w/ heal yourself.....i love playing these togheter and it will never be one without the other in my mixes. i also played a couple of tracks from wechsel garland's 'not easy' ep released on berlin's karaoke kalk. dont know much about him but i liked these two tracks and karaoke kalk has an interesting roster of artists, definitelly worth checking out..... the mix ends with farben's ' beautone' which is simple but groovy, gregorythyme sings about drugs for horses, and villalobos kills it with his mesmerizing track 'dexter'. stay tuned for more.....

left from the center......great stuff from some new artists as well as some older cats! the inttro is pretty nice, i was switching gears in my set so i used one of herren's skits to get it started, from then on everything mixed well....the great mundane starts everything and he's one of the young multi talented artists who's not afraid to dig a little deeper in the sound spectrum. check'm on belladonnarecords. danny breaks comes from the english d'n'b scene and has gotten some attention with his 'dimension series' on a label he started, Alphabet Zoo. i like this guy a lot, i think he has a good combo of sounds and mos def someone to be wtched in the future. things are moving along with some west coast flavor [sach⦶, jel] then east side artistry [slotek] and some tunes from across the pond [vernon lenoir, thomas fehlmann, dimlite]. this set has a lot of breaks between songs but they're blending pretty nice togheter. i believe these ttracks speak for themselves if not i'll give you a hint: hip-hop next gen.....
