Service is the technical, efficient delivery of care, while hospitality is how the experience makes patients feel through emotional connection and going beyond expectations. Dr. Christie notes great hospitality can overcome service mistakes, but great service rarely fixes poor hospitality, citing Danny Meyer’s Setting the Table.
Dr. Christie outlines hospitality examples such as personalized greetings, tours, gifts, thank-you notes, Bonjoro welcome/birthday videos, condolences, and follow-ups. Using Joey Coleman’s eight phases, he emphasizes the “affirm” period before the first visit, the initial “activate” visit, celebrating outcomes at re-exam/discharge, and recognizing advocates via reviews and referrals.
The podcast concludes with a practical action plan, encouraging practices to evaluate their current patient experience and prioritize improvements in both service and hospitality.

She explains how word-of-mouth led to working with pro athletes and entertainers, and offers guidance on treating recognized clients professionally with flexibility and without being starstruck.

Dr. Christie also suggests using AI chat tools to research and build community outreach lists (gyms, trainers, yoga studios, attorneys, doctors) based on a clinic’s target audience. Dr. Donahue shares starting in 200 square feet inside a CrossFit gym before moving into a 1,400-square-foot clinic, with plans to double space, add another chiropractor, expand team roles, and grow rehab and cash-based services while remaining in-network with insurance.
They discuss leadership through core values, delegation, and maintaining high standards, plus the importance of vision, patience, and sustainable growth over quick “launch” results.
Dr. Kevin Christie explains how chiropractors can position themselves as the go-to disc injury expert in their community using an “audience builder” framework. He outlines an XY-axis positioning concept (expert vs. non-expert; generalist vs. specific) and emphasizes that clinical skill is essential but visibility and perception in the community determine whether patients see you as an expert.
Dr. Christie recommends defining ideal patient psychographics before demographics, then selecting target groups prone to disc injuries and identifying offline and online congregation points to reach them. He also applies Donald Miller’s StoryBrand messaging model to disc-injured golfers, clarifying external, internal, and philosophical conflicts to craft compelling content and outreach.
Dr. Christie stresses that strong marketing must be matched by strong outcomes.
On this episode of Modern Chiropractic Mastery, Dr. Kevin Christie welcomes Dr. Rob Pesale, a Stratford, Connecticut chiropractor who has been in practice since 1990, and now works alongside his son, Dr. Drew Pesale. His story highlights the power of relentless work ethic, grassroots marketing, and evolving with modern digital strategies. He also shares a hard financial lesson from losing approximately $1.5 million during the 1999–2000 dot-com crash, underscoring the importance of diversification and steady, conservative financial planning.
Throughout the episode, key themes emerge: staying genuinely engaged with each patient, committing to lifelong learning (including advanced training and fellowship work), developing a clear niche, seeking mentorship, and building resilience.
In this solo episode of Modern Chiropractic Mastery, Dr. Kevin Christie explains why chiropractors need structured planning through consistent yearly, quarterly, and weekly meetings to avoid running the practice without clear direction. He recommends scheduling quarterly meetings the month before the next quarter and keeping them practical in length (about two hours) while involving the entire team.
Drawing from Gino Wickman’s book Traction and the EOS framework, Dr. Christie outlines a quarterly meeting agenda: start with a positive focus by reviewing wins from the prior quarter, create an issues list (small to big) to surface and address problems, set 3–5 quarterly “rocks” (major projects), and build an indicator scorecard with trailing metrics (e.g., new patients, office visits, revenue, reviews) supported by specific leading indicators that drive results.
The meeting should also include a quarterly marketing plan covering events, initiatives, content, and ad spend, with larger issues carried into weekly meetings for execution.
It’s a great listen to help you strategize for the remainder of 2026!

He and Christie discuss the realities of practicing inside gyms, emphasizing that gym members are a “floor,” not a complete patient base, and the importance of having a plan to graduate to an independent clinic.
Dr. Reinlie explains consolidating locations, moving into a 1300-square-foot space with multiple rooms, hiring his first full-time staff member, and focusing on efficiency, pricing, and reinvestment using profit-first principles. His advice centers on learning relationship-building and closely managing finances, supported by coaching and strong clinical competence.
Dr. Kevin Christie hosts a solo episode of Modern Chiropractic Mastery exploring why evidence-based chiropractors may resist business coaching.
The main discussion outlines seven reasons for coaching resistance:
(1) the “coaching paradox,” where clinicians demand evidence clinically but reject proven business mentorship
(2) the “I can figure it out myself” trap and trial-and-error costs
(3) imposter syndrome and vulnerability around sharing business details
(4) bad industry coaching experiences, hard sales, and cookie-cutter protocols, with a call for frameworks over forced systems
(5) ROI skepticism, citing research showing ~6–8x returns and strong small-business impact
(6) isolation and lack of peer sounding boards
(7) the “timing” excuse
Christie encourages aligned, values-based coaching and points listeners to modernchiropracticmastery.com.

They discuss a key mindset shift: seeing yourself as an entrepreneur with a specialty in chiropractic care, not only a doctor focused on craft. Shannon explains Strategic Coach’s Unique Ability framework—activities range from incompetent and competent to the “excellent trap” (superior skill and strong reputation, but boredom), and finally Unique Ability (superior skill plus passion), which she describes as a 10x return.

They cover delegation extremes that sabotage teamwork: the “delegation death grip” and “drive-by delegation.” Shannon recommends Strategic Coach’s Impact Filter to clarify purpose, ideal outcome, risks, and success criteria.

The tug-of-war battle between Associate and Practice Owner is well documented, but it doesn’t have to be that way. There are many strategies and best practices to have a mutually beneficial experience for both the associate and the practice owner, and that is what we discuss in this week’s podcast episode.
In this episode, I interview Dr. Lisa Goodman, who recently published her book The Manual for the Chiropractic Entrepreneur.
“Are you a Chiropractor, or are you an entrepreneur who happens to be a Chiropractor?” Strategic Coach found that Dan Sullivan likes to ask doctors this question, and it always makes me think. Part of being an entrepreneur is leading and leveling up your team, and associates are no different.
Dr. Lisa Goodman believes that chiropractic is the best profession in the world. Certified in sports, prenatal, and pediatric chiropractic, as well as Titleist Performance Institute certified, Dr. Goodman founded Washington Park Chiropractic in 2006. She has a degree in marketing and communications and spent four years in brand advertising before graduating as valedictorian of her chiropractic college, Palmer West. She is known as an international speaker, author, teacher, mentor, and clinician in and out of the office at worldwide events.
“THE MANUAL for the Chiropractic Entrepreneur,” published by Parker University, is Dr. Goodman’s first published book. It serves as a comprehensive guide for both established and aspiring chiropractic entrepreneurs and offers strategies for launching and growing a successful practice.

The more I discuss with colleagues and experts how to provide the patient with great care and how to avoid the commoditization trap that insurance companies have doctors firmly trapped in, the more the idea of add-on services keeps revealing itself as a great option.
Whether you are in-network with insurance or are a cash practice, some services are not covered by insurance or should be charged at a separate cash rate from your traditional chiropractic care.
Some of those add-on services include but are not limited to, Shock Wave Therapy, Dry Needling, Laser Therapy, Physical Training, Supplementation, and more.
In this episode, I interview Dr. David Rudnick about how he provides world-class care in his sports chiropractic clinic and has escaped insurance companies' commoditization trap.
The good news is that you don’t have to be a hard-sell clinic. You can provide add-on services without pressuring your patients into spending money they don’t want to.
You can reach Dr. Rudnick at davidrudnickdc@gmail.com.
Is your chiropractic practice fully modernized?
When modernizing your practice, yes, you can renovate the office, get new equipment, and go from paper to electronic health records, but you also need to modernize your marketing, communication, and business technologies.
Prospective and current patients expect a modern experience when engaging with your practice in your community. You may be falling behind your competition because they are implementing strategies to take a big slice of the market share.
Let MCM audit, build, and implement a tailored modernization plan for your practice to help you compete in your competitive community.
We focus on 3 fundamental aspects of the modern healthcare practice.
*Communicating with your Community
*Communicating with your Patients
*Communicating with your Team
Modernizing your Community, Patient, and Team Communication takes a complete approach that focuses on the Front Stage and Back Stage of your practice.
Front Stage/Back Stage ModelⓇ (Developed by Strategic Coach)
“You can gain enormous clarity about your business by looking at it from the perspective of The Front Stage/Back Stage Model®. This draws a parallel between the theater and the experience you create for your clients in your business. As we watch a live performance, we are captivated by the performances, the lighting, the sound, and the atmosphere. You want your business, like the theater, to create a positive, memorable, and unique experience in which your customers and prospects see the “magic” of the Front Stage without seeing the Back Stage logistics.
Everything you do on your Front Stage creates value for your clients, and everything Back Stage has a direct link to your Front Stage. The Back Stage is about creating better and better support systems, based on Unique Ability®, that expand the impact of the Front Stage. Everything that occurs Back Stage is determined, measured, and judged by how well it contributes to the results achieved on the Front Stage.”

In Late February, Jay Greenstein and I hosted a Salon Dinner at Parker Vegas for a hand-selected party of 8.
What is a Salon Dinner?
“In the 17th and 18th centuries, salons became popular venues for philosophical, political, and other moderated conversations. Women were the center of salon life. They selected the topic, invited guests and directed the conversation throughout the event. While these events were social, there was always a theme of education and idea sharing. Today, salons are having a revival moment. In our digital age, we have unlimited access to information and various feeds of opinions to consume. Modern day salons are bridging the gap between information sharing and face-to-face interactions. Bringing meaningful discussion topics to the dinner table or happy hour has created an avenue for people to share thoughts and solve problems in a social environment.” - Cameron Cler
We chose the topic of the disconnect between private practice owners and DCs looking for great jobs. We dove into the struggle to afford great teams and to find great jobs. We kept the conversation on track and had a great time working through ideas to help start the dialogue of improvement.
In this episode, I discuss some of the takeaways from the Salon Dinner and other professional aspects.
“If you want a life where you get to do what you want every day, You’ll need to live a life doing a lot of things you don’t want to do.”
Brian Strump, D.C., joins us today to discuss the above Facebook post and other amazing business insights he often provides.
This is a unique episode in which I reached out to Brian based on my fascination with and enjoyment of his insightful Facebook posts.
We also discuss how a game of Tetris and Contra like a business. You Gen X’ers will love this one.
Dr. Brian Strump is a chiropractor and gym owner who has helped many in this space with business development. He provides unique insight into how he thinks about building a practice and/or gym that serves the community, his team, and his family.
Video content marketing that educates your patients and communities is certainly one of the best marketing strategies you can do for your practice, yet why do so many choose not to?
In this episode, I interview Dr. Robin Armstrong and Dr. Jody Freedman and discuss how they have grown an already great practice through consistent video marketing.
They are both using diverse types of video strategies, and they outline what they are doing, why they are doing it, and the results.
You will also hear 5 key benefits of consistently producing videos for your community and practice.
Video is not too hard and doesn’t have to be overwhelming. Dr. Armstrong and Dr. Freedman did an excellent job in this interview and showed you how to do it.

If you know about Buc-ee’s, you know about Buc-ee’s. If someone has been, they will tell you all about it. It is remarkable.
Is your practice remarkable? Do you have raving advocates? Or is it just another practice?
In this episode, I explain why you need to be more like Buc-ee’s and less like Waffle House and what exactly that means.
It is time we aim for remarkable and invest in ourselves and our business to become remarkable.

Many chiropractors are busy but not able to break through and afford to hire help and grow to the next level. We have all heard the term scaling, but it doesn’t mean you must scale to many locations like The Joint.
Scaling means getting your one practice efficient and continuously breaking through the complexities of your business.
Capacity issues in your practice can take many shapes, from lack of office space, equipment, team, or room on your schedule to seeing more patients and providing a high quality of care.
In this episode, Dr. Clay Sankey shares his story of breaking through a capacity issue and is now on the other side of capacity complexity.
You will gain insights into how to improve your practice, build a team to help you and provide an even better patient experience with optimal patient outcomes.
Also, Dr. Sankey’s office is hosting a great seminar on Rethinking Running Rehab with Dr. Beau Beard. If you are interested, register here: https://anthroedu.com/store/p/rx3-charlotte
Many exciting things are happening in the profession; recently, attending Parker Vegas highlighted that.
We don’t know where the profession is going, but many opportunities exist.
In this episode, I bring on Dr. Brandon Steele of ChiroUP to discuss what they are seeing in the profession, how chiropractors can optimize their careers, and how we can all optimize the profession. Some exciting new technologies are coming down the pipeline.
Dr. Steele also reveals an exciting new technology that ChiroUP launched this past weekend at Parker Vegas and is sure to transform many chiropractic practices!

Too many doctors think that good healthcare and good business are inverse relationships.
You can be good at business and not be a snake or a shark. You can be patient-centered and also have a good business.
I am also here to tell you that everyone benefits, including your patients, when you are sound in business.
In this episode, I discuss 5 Keys to Good Chiropractic Business, and it doesn’t include huge care plans, offering services just for the money, or making healthcare decisions based on finances.
This episode will discuss how patient outcomes are the main goal and how everything else flows from there in turning your chiropractic practice into a thriving business that can enhance your patient outcomes even further.
Many chiropractors and chiropractic practices have goals and dreams, but few have a great vision. Some think they have a vision, but without the necessary planning and actions, it's a dream and will never be a reality.
In this interview with Dr. Keith Yoho, we discuss his group practice's exponential growth and big vision. We detail where the practice started, where it is now and where it will be going.
More importantly, we break down how they achieve their vision through strategic meetings and a transformational yearly team meeting.
Not enough practices are thinking big enough and certainly not having strategic growth meetings to make incremental improvements.
This episode is important for chiropractors of all levels and it is never too late to start creating a vision and working towards that reality.
As a profession, we have made it a long way, but we continue to fight to improve our standing in healthcare in each state, the country, and internationally.
Behind the scenes, we often don’t see the work being done to improve the chiropractic profession, and it is important to shed light on that occasionally.
In this interview, Bharon Hoag from The Chiropractic Defense Council joins me to share the progress made and the vision for a better future.
Bharon is a force of nature and brings a passion to the profession and this episode that few can. In this wide-ranging discussion, we talk about some of his organization's successes, some of the obstacles we face, and the exciting future ahead.

In 2024, many chiropractic practices are getting creative with optimizing their front desk.
If you don’t currently have a front desk, I highly recommend the Virtual Front Desk option to free you up to focus on patient care and growing your practice.
If you have a front desk person or team, consider having a Virtual Front Desk component to allow your front desk team to focus completely on the patients that are in the office. Too many chiropractic front desk team members are overwhelmed with answering the phone, verifying insurance, and other tasks. They cannot provide a great patient experience for those physically in the office.
In this episode, I interview Pablo Blanco of Avanmed on the Virtual Front Desk and how you can implement this effectively in your practice.
We discuss what to look out for, what a great virtual front desk looks like, and how you can implement it into your unique practice.
You can find out more about Avanmed here https://avanmed.com/

*And a few more!
Chiropractors are often looking for ways to help their patients improve their lives and do it in a manner that is effective and efficient.
At our Mastermind weekends, our members do occasional “Each One Teach Ones,” where a member provides a 30-minute presentation on something that has grown or transformed their practice.
Dr. Tiffany and Tyler Armstrong presented at our last mastermind on implementing a functional medicine system in your practice that is both impactful for patients and to grow your practice.
They both do a great job in this podcast interview to discuss the program they use, the effectiveness for their patients, and what it has done to transform their practice.
Even if you aren’t looking to add functional medicine, in this interview, we dive into strategies you could utilize to add other aspects of healthcare to your chiropractic practice.
If you’d like to know more about the system The Armstrongs discuss, please visit https://siouxcenterchiropractic.com/
A 30-40-year career in any profession can seem grueling, and chiropractic is no different. Too many in our profession face burnout we before that, but many don’t.

How do you manage it when a patient isn’t getting better?
What do you do when a patient gets worse with your treatment?
Do you feel like you are burning brain bandwidth all day long thinking through complicated cases, and will it ever become easier?
In this episode, I bring Dr. Mark King on the show to help us provide wisdom to these three questions we have all faced and I have been asked a lot lately.
Dr. Mark King is the President of the Motion Palpation Institute and has been a practicing chiropractor in Cincinnati, OH for many years. I couldn’t think of anyone better to help answer these challenges.
If you are looking to step up your game on evaluating and treating the shoulder, consider attending the MPI Sports Summit on March 23,24 in Minnesota:

Not enough chiropractors effectively plan their upcoming year, and many don’t plan at all. In this episode, I discuss what you should be doing to plan for an impactful 2024.
It doesn’t have to be complicated, but it does need to be intentional. I also provide you with some resources to help guide you in your planning efforts.
Let’s make 2024 a great and transformational year!
This time of year, I always sit down and perform a thinking tool I learned from Strategic Coach. The Positive Focus gives you an opportunity to reflect on all of the achievements you have had in the past year, even if there were challenges. There are always challenges.
The Positive Focus has you write down and get clear on 4 aspects:
The Achievement
Reason why this is important.
Further Progress
First Action
In this episode I outline my Positive Focus for 2023 so I can then shift focus on designing my plan for an even better 2024. I challenge you to do the same!
We know insurance companies play games, but what games are they playing? What can you do about it?
In this episode, I interview Dr. Brian Capra of Genesis Chiropractic Software on all of the tactics, strategies, and games insurance companies play to try not to pay you.
We cover everything from why insurance companies do this to strategies to prevent much of this from occurring or at least having a system that notifies you and fights it for you.
We also discuss AI and software and how that technology is helping chiropractors have a fighting chance.
Even if you are not an insurance-based practice, we discuss many topics in this episode to help you with your practice operations.
Dr. Brian Capra is a 2002 Graduate of Life University in Atlanta, GA. After building a successful practice in Princeton, NJ, he discovered a fundamental flaw in traditional chiropractic software. Dr. Capra decided to look outside chiropractic to find a solution. He found that large organizations focused on customer experience, using technology in a totally unique way. These enterprise-level technologies were getting amazing results. He and his team began building the first and only enterprise-level, Patient Experience Technology.

10X is fundamentally about quality vs quantity, and the quality of your freedom determines the results you achieve.
This is not hustle culture.
As Ben Harding, Co-author of the book “10X is Easier than 2X,” states:
“10X is not the outcome; it’s a counterintuitive process you can apply every time you want exponential growth in your life and business. To make 10X possible, you must focus on expanding what Dan Sullivan defines as your four most important freedoms — time, money, relationship, and purpose. As your time becomes 10X more valuable, you increasingly multiply the money you earn both in terms of amount and profitable satisfaction.
As money becomes a tool you can increasingly access with greater ease, you will engage with a growing number of other freedom-motivated individuals. As both your professional and personal life fills up with 10X more unique and collaborative relationships, you will realize that your most powerful purposes in all areas become 10X more lasting and positive for everyone involved. You will be impressed by what your life has become, and the meaning and impact you’re having.”
In this episode, I interview Kristi Chambers of Strategic Coach on this concept, and we discuss how you, as chiropractors, can achieve 10x results in your life.
We discuss the following topics, but are not limited to:
The 80/20 Rule Shirt you need to make
Quality vs Quantity
The 4 Freedoms
My 10x in last 10 years
Giving yourself a more reasonable timeline

At some point in the future, there is the likelihood that you will want to sell your practice. In past episodes, we have discussed this topic and why it is so vital to start preparing your practice now for it, even if it is many years down the road.
If you prepare your practice and your personal financial structure now, not only will you benefit from it down the road when you sell it, but it will be more profitable now, and you will grow your personal wealth more now.
In this episode, we discuss tips and traps for selling your business with Paul Carroll, a Certified Financial Planner.
What should you look out for to financially prepare for before, during, and after the sale of your practice? We will attempt to answer that for you.
Paul Carroll is a wealth manager at Avion Wealth. He focuses on providing wealth management solutions to professionals with a growth mindset. Working with his team of experts, he helps affluent clients address their five biggest concerns: Preserving their wealth; mitigating taxes; taking care of their heirs; ensuring their assets aren't unjustly taken; and charitable giving.

We live in a tough world, and we work in a challenging industry; however, many are making it worse by falling susceptible to the stories and excuses that are holding them back.
Stories such as the public’s perception of our profession or how busy you are and don’t have the time to do marketing or community outreach to grow your practice the necessary amount to be cash flow confident.
Excuses such as insurance companies are the reason you aren’t thriving, or you weren’t taught “this or that” in chiropractic school.
I am not here to deny real-world challenges, and you may be facing something I can’t comprehend. Still, after years of coaching chiropractors and having my own stories and excuses, I know too many who are being held back by these stories and excuses.
I know chiropractors who are facing many of the stories and excuses I discuss in this episode and are overcoming those obstacles to have a thriving practice and personal life.
Let’s make this episode the start for you to get clear on your stories and excuses and build a plan to start to overcome them and grow the practice you deserve.
We often imagine leadership as some grand charismatic leader like Nick Saban, MLK, or Churchill. The reality is, that leadership has many styles and traits and isn’t something you are just born with.
In this episode, I am excited to interview JM Ryerson on transforming your life and getting better every day. When you get better, you get better as a leader, and you revolutionize your leadership, create a thriving company culture, and find balance in every part of your life.
JM Ryerson isn't just a seasoned entrepreneur with three successful business sales under his belt…
He's your go-to guide for leading teams to the top.
He’s a business leader with 20+ years of experience, an international speaker, the voice behind the "Let's Go Win" podcast, and the best-selling author of 3 impactful books, including Let's Go Win: The Keys To Living Your Best Life.
As the co-founder and CEO of Let's Go Win, JM's on a mission to elevate your leadership, enrich your team culture, and uncover the best version of you.
He wants leaders like you to break through limiting beliefs, step into their true selves, and live life on their own terms (not with the broken leadership styles of the past).

This isn’t an exact science, but in my judgment, we are in the third phase of sports chiropractic. Phase 1 was pioneered by many great chiropractors before there was even the name sports chiropractor. Phase 2 layered on more advanced soft tissue therapy, particular assessments, and sports rehab.
In this episode, I break down phase 1 and phase 2 of sports chiropractors and the newer phase 3 of sports chiropractics. This Phase 3 isn’t replacing Phase 2, nor does it make Phase 2 antiquated. It’s simply different.
I spent some time highlighting the positives of Phase 3 sports chiropractic and some of the pitfalls from a business and clinical standpoint in this episode.
Our goal at MCM is for all evidence-informed chiropractors to thrive clinically and as a business, and my hope for this episode is to get sports chiropractors to develop systems and practices to improve profit margins and build a great practice.
Perhaps this episode can be a dialogue starter on improving the practice health of the Phase 3 Sports Chiropractor. The good news is many Phase 3 sports chiropractors are building thriving practices.
Many of you remember the Wild West days of $27 all-you-can-eat chiropractic Facebook Ads where these ads tried to entice people to come in for a very cheap visit, get 100 people in the funnel and hope 5 bought big care packages.
This worked for many, but it frustrated even more. If you didn’t get turned off from Facebook Ads, then you may have when Facebook made it more expensive and challenging to get results from Facebook Ads.
I am here to tell you that Facebook Ads still work; it’s just different now.
In this episode, I interview one of the original experts in the Facebook Ads space for companies of all sizes, Nicholas Kusmich. He is not only an expert in Facebook Ads but in marketing strategy as well.
In this episode, we discuss:
*Marketing Strategy and Principles
*Facebook Ads Updates
*What has changed with Facebook Ads over the years
*Facebook Ads vs Google Ads
*My Facebook Ads Strategy for the next six months.
*What Nicholas would do if he were starting a Chiropractic practice
Much more!
Ultimately, you should have a marketing plan, and a marketing budget and you should consider what an appropriate Ad spend is for your practice, be it Google or Facebook Ads.

You don’t have to be a celebrity, athlete, or corporate executive to leverage Public Relations or “PR” for yourself and your business. The fundamentals of PR are instrumental in growing a remarkable chiropractic practice.
In this episode, I interview Jay of Ace of Spades Agency, and he dispels the myths of PR, how chiropractors can improve their positioning, and what he would do to build his practice if he were a chiropractor.
Ace Of Spades is a digital PR agency that helps people and companies package, position, and publicize what they do all over the world.
Our chiropractic audience’s appetite for the desire to self-promote runs across the entire spectrum, but if you can move the needle in your strategic positioning, your practice will grow.
Too many chiropractors hope their practice will grow just by being a good chiropractor and having people refer to them, and in some instances, that does happen, but not as much as we all would like.
Take control of your practice growth by listening to this episode, which will help you enhance your positioning.
The chasm between the vision of your ideal success, the traits you express, the sacrifices you are willing to make, and personal development may be preventing you from realizing professional success.
In this lesson I discuss the 6 Things Success Demands from a post originally by Sanwal Dani and they hit it on the head.
Success is how you define it, but if you open your own practice or associate with a performance-based pay structure, the financial bottom line has a say in whether you have a healthy level of success.
Too many chiropractors are struggling mightily because they aren’t reaching the minimum effective dose of the right things to do for success within a chiropractic practice.
We need to shine a light on what it really takes to reach your vision instead of just hoping it will happen or blaming the insurance system or schools that it won’t make it happen.
So, let’s put our feelings aside and do a self-awareness check on where you may be falling short in these 6 things it takes to reach your vision of success.
If you need some practice acceleration, make sure to check out our upcoming CSA Practice Acceleration Virtual Summit on October 6 and 7 here: https://bit.ly/csasummit
Recently, at my Strategic Coach meeting we reviewed a graphic and concept titled “Transforming Your Industry” and it provided 3 Stages of becoming an Industry Transformer.
Stage 1: Conventional Experience
Stage 2: Unique Experience
Stage 3: Transformational Experience
In this episode, Dr. Josh Satterlee shares a devastating example of how conventional healthcare failed a dear friend of his and how that transpired. He also reveals how that doesn’t have to be the case and how leveraging digital communication can transform your practice and the patient’s experience and outcomes.
According to Gino Wickman, you must “systemize the predictable so you can humanize the exceptional.”
Josh details how you can leverage digital technology to enhance patient communication in your practice and how that will make you a better provider and avoid the conventional pitfalls that most healthcare deals with in modern medicine.
It is time we build remarkable, Unique, or Transformational practices and no longer be mired in the conventional.
To find out more about what Dr. Josh Satterlee is doing, transforming, and offering, visit here https://clinicgymhybrid.com/
If you, like many chiropractic practices, are still exporting data and creating your own spreadsheets because you don’t have the perfect dashboard.
You may still have double data entry and no follow-up and follow-through process. Plus, the more moving parts, providers, and service centers, the more likely you will have patients fall through the cracks, wasted time creating spreadsheets, and frustrated staff.
In this episode, I interview Dr. Naota Hashimoto of TrackStat about what stats you should be tracking, why you should be tracking them, and how this can help you cultivate a great chiropractic practice.
Stats may not be sexy, but I am always shocked by how little most chiropractors know about their numbers, and it typically stems from not having an efficient system to track them and to decipher them.
We also discuss many other aspects of chiropractic practice and the patient experience, given that Dr. Hashimoto built and ran a highly successful chiropractic practice.
If you would like more information about TrackStat and how it can help you know your numbers and grow your practice, check out trackstat.org

We see the social media influencer and think that large followings and minor celebrity status is the direction to go with our marketing. We see big brand marketing spending and think it takes significant money for marketing. The chiropractor with shock factor videos with tons of likes must be the way to go.
This leads many chiropractors to the Spray and Pray model of creating content for their practice growth.
The good news is, in this episode, I guide you on how to strategically Attract and Engage a reasonable-sized audience and how your practice can have world class marketing without being an influencer or shock jock.
There is a lot more to marketing than likes, big money spent, and unengaged followers. This episode will get you thinking on how to achieve sustainable growth for your practice.
In my opinion, we are in Phase 3 of the evolution of the Sports Chiropractor. There are many exciting aspects of this new generation of Sports Chiropractors, but also some concerns.
In this episode, I interview Dr. Alan Sokoloff, a Sports Chiropractor who has been on the leading edge of the profession for many years and has built a great and sustaining practice in addition to his work with professional sports teams.
We have a wide-ranging conversation that includes the evolution of the Sports Chiropractor, how to position yourself as an expert in your community, considerations when working with teams, and how to have longevity in this wonderful career.
Dr. Sokoloff was selected as Maryland’s “Chiropractor of the Year 2001-2” and the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physician’s Sports Chiropractor of the Year 2006. He holds a post-graduate degree as a Diplomat of the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians. He has been a member of the University of Maryland Sports Medicine Team since 1991. He served a residency at the United States Olympic Training Center, summer of 1997 and was selected to the medical team for the United States at the 1998 Goodwill Games. Dr. Sokoloff was appointed to the USA Olympic Medical Team for the 1999 Pan Am Games in Winnipeg, Canada. He continues to be the team chiropractor for the two-time Super Bowl Champion Baltimore Ravens of the NFL since 1999 as well as the University of Maryland Terps.

At this point has become a cliche of sorts, but it doesn’t make it any less true. Working “On” your business is a necessary component of building the practice of your dreams that offers the highest quality patient care, provides great jobs, and supports your family's wonderful life.
Too many of you are starving artists and will die on that hill. Some of you know it doesn’t have to be that way, but you are mired in the weeds of patient care, patient notes, and dirty diapers. Some of you even have hired coaches but didn’t do the work and confirmed your self-limiting beliefs that “coaching doesn’t work”.
Having the view, I do inside the mindsets and practices of some of the best clinics in the world, I can tell you one common theme. The vast majority figured out early that working on their business had to be baked into the daily, weekly, and monthly schedules.
I get it, we get busy. I wasn’t planning on going back into patient care and fully running MCM. Both companies are fully involved businesses, and I am no Elon Musk. My solution has been to work from 5 am-6 am “on” MCM 5 days per week, followed by 6am-7:30am with the young kids, then off to work to treat patients.
We all have a story, but we are also all professionals. Often being a Pro doesn’t allow for stories and excuses. It requires a different mindset and a different level of commitment. Some of you may just need guidance on what to do and how to do it. We have all been there.
In this episode, I discuss what it means to work on your business and how to strategically accomplish it. We are also diving deep into this topic in our coaching calls this week and ensuring our members are being Pros. Being a Pro is just different.
Digital Marketing is always changing and keeping up with it all can be overwhelming. However, if you learn and craft your expert positioning, you can adapt to those changes much easier.
Digital marketing has many aspects, but in this episode, we break down the fundamentals of optimizing it to help grow your practice.
Dr. Brian Paris joins me today to provide us with his journey and insights on growing an audience and improving engagement with your digital marketing. Dr. Paris has owned and operated a busy chiropractic practice and is now an entrepreneur with many interests.
One key to Dr. Paris’ journey is always getting better when it comes to producing content and consistently distributing it on digital platforms.
In this episode, we discuss some of the key fundamentals of improving your marketing that doesn’t chip away at your credibility but rather enhances it and positions you as a thought leader in your community.

A key to your online marketing is to optimize your Google Business Profile. Not only should your Google Business Profile have all the correct information and have many great Google Reviews, but you should also make it like your second website.
What do I mean by a second website? I want prospective new patients to feel like they get the true essence of your practice. You can do things like have robust FAQs filled out, insurances listed that you are in-network with, and Google Posts.
You also need to have great images of your practice on your Google Business Profile. But there is a next level option to enhance your Google Business Profile.
Welcome customers inside to help them get a feel for your business and what it has to offer before they arrive. The Virtual 360 Tour of the inside of your practice is a great option for your practice.
In this episode, I discuss the Google Virtual 360 Tour and all its details.
Many mistakenly believe that people are born leaders only. The reality is that leadership can be learned and improved. As a chiropractor, you need to lead your patients, your team, your profession, and your family.
In this episode, I bring back Manuel Astruc MD to discuss Leadership and its essentials.
Dr. Astruc first became interested in psychiatry during medical school. He realized that his favorite part of rotations was sitting down with patients after his rounds were completed, getting to hear their stories, and know them individually.
After seeing the change that consciously making an effort to embrace the journey and block out negativity made in his own life, Dr. Astruc knew he needed to share the knowledge he had with others. Dr. Astruc started Your Next Act to help high-achieving entrepreneurs like you find the mental strength to not just survive their ventures but thrive.
In this episode, we also discuss the Leadership 360 Review we did on me and the insights I gained from that. One of the realizations of leadership that I have had, is that there are different styles of leadership, and you don’t have to have the cult of personality or uber-charismatic leadership styles to be impactful as a leader.

Instagram is ever changing and still very important for your chiropractic marketing. For many, it can be confusing and overwhelming to try to compete in a sea of content found on IG.
In this episode, I interview Molly Cahill about IG Reels and 6 types of content you can utilize in your overall Instagram marketing strategy.
One of the misconceptions chiropractors have with Instagram is that you have to have a huge audience or be an influencer, but the reality is, you can grow your practice with a clearly defined audience and a strategic content plan.
Molly provides health and wellness professionals with IG training and services to help them educate to attract their ideal clients and patients.

Being in bigger rooms is vital for your professional and personal growth. As you achieve more, such as finishing eight years of higher education and opening your own business, and when you work hard, smart, and consistently over some time, a level of success, you find fewer and fewer friends, family, and support systems who can help you grow even more.
I started my journey of professional growth in 2013 by surrounding myself with others who were doing big things. As I started to have practice success from 2011-2013, I was finding myself on an island and not having the right people around me to grow even more.
As I continued to grow and get into even bigger rooms of driven, talented, brilliant people, at times, it felt uncomfortable, but that was just the chasm between where I currently was and the next leap I was about to make.
In this episode, I discuss the importance of surrounding yourself with other like-minded chiropractors who are doing big things, and how that can help you grow in many areas.
We often have a limited mindset on investing in ourselves professionally, whether it is in clinical training but especially when it is business and professional growth.
The dual dilemma of being a lonely high achiever and not finding ourselves in the right rooms was the genesis of starting the MCM Mastermind in 2022. I couldn’t have foreseen the success of our founding cohort in terms of Return On Investment, relationships built, practice growth results, and that it would max out at 25 members. Every member from 2022 returned to 2023, and 21 of 22 are returning to 2024.
Here is a short video giving you an insight look of our Mastermind Group: https://youtu.be/1drUA-_OpiI
Since we have filled the East Cohort, we are excited to launch our West Mastermind Cohort for 2024. The locations are in the Pacific and Mountain Time Zone Cities, but you don’t have to reside in the West to attend.
The transformative purpose of the MCM Mastermind will be to bring a group of 20-25 big thinking members together to help each other exponentially grow their practices and lives. This will not be a didactic lecture style, but rather a facilitation of topics, strategies, and ideas we all work through together.

It may be time for you to get into a bigger room, and here is your opportunity.
Very few chiropractors have a thriving practice and the freedom of time, travel, and growth that this week’s guest Ryan Wigness DC has achieved.
It doesn’t happen overnight, but when you strategically focus on your clinical mastery, business strategy, and professional development, you can build the practice that services not only your patients but yourself and your family.
In this episode, we discuss how Ryan opened his first location in Whitefish, Montana and what helped him grow that location, and the subsequent locations he has opened with the great team he has around him.
We discuss the following topics that highlight Ryan’s growth over the past 20 years:
*How he started in a small town and how he has adapted to a booming area
*His core treatments and evaluations that he uses in practice.
*The role of palpation and manipulation in his practice
*His evolution in growing his business acumen
*The MPI Adjustathon new DC Only Track and Student Only Track
*What he has gained from the MCM Mastermind
*Developing a team around him to exponentially grow
*The MPI Whitefish seminar he co-hosts each year
I truly enjoy interviewing DCs in the trenches who are doing it right because of the real-world wisdom that is gained, and I have no doubt you will in this episode.

Most employers wish their employees cared about the business as much as they do. Most employees wish their employers care about them as much as they care about the business. There’s a disconnect when employers think about their employees but fail to show, tell, and demonstrate they care.
In this episode, I am excited to bring back Joey Coleman to the show. Joey Coleman helps companies keep their customers and employees. As an award-winning speaker, he shares his First 100 Days® methodology for improving customer and employee retention with organizations around the world (e.g., Whirlpool, Volkswagen Australia, and Zappos). His Wall Street Journal #2 best-selling book, Never Lose a Customer Again, shows how to turn any sale into a lifelong customer, and his upcoming book, Never Lose an Employee Again, details a framework that companies around the world can use to reduce turnover and increase employee engagement.
Never Lose an Employee Again provides leaders at all management levels, across all industries, the tools they need to design impactful experiences and interactions across the eight phases of the employee journey. Intentionally, the word used to describe each phase starts with an “A” to remind employers that the goal should be to earn “straight As” from their employees. Throughout their employment, employees will assess, accept, affirm, activate, acclimate, accomplish, adopt, and advocate - if and only if employers hold their hand and help them navigate the journey.
The greatest impact on employee experience comes within The First 100 Days®. These opening days can make (or break) the employee’s experience. But if done right, an employer can build a solid foundation for the relationship, leading to greater engagement and retention in the future.
Designing an impactful employee experience doesn’t require an organizational overhaul. It doesn’t require considerable investments of time and/or money. It just requires a commitment to the consistent enhancement of the employee experience.

Improving your communication and speaking skills is the fastest way to grow your practice, build trust with your patients and position yourself as an expert in your community.
One of the biggest misconceptions is that great public speakers and communicators are born that way. Sure, some have a unique talent, however, much of what you see from great speakers and communicators is a learned skill.
In this episode, I interview my speaking coach Deirdre Van Nest of Crazy Good Talks on how to improve and utilize public speaking and patient communication to grow your practice.
Deirdre Van Nest is a top-rated international Keynoter, Speaking Coach, Story Strategist, and the founder of Crazy Good Talks; a company devoted to helping professionals and entrepreneurs fast-track their Know, Like, and Trust Factor so they get to the “YES!” quicker.
In this episode, we discuss many topics to improve your communication, including, but not limited to.
*How to overcome your fears of public speaking
*How to improve your public speaking
*Developing your “Signature System”
*Effectively title your talk
*How improving your speaking can improve other aspects of communication such as patient communication, team leadership and recording marketing videos.
*Developing your presentations.

Many chiropractors are busy and broke, or busy and broken. It shouldn’t be that way, and it doesn’t have to be that way. It may take some challenging work to get there, but having healthy margins in your life should be the lighthouse.
We often only think of the word margin as it relates to profit, however, there any multiple aspects of margin you should strive for in your professional and personal life.
A recent book I read “Margin: Restoring Emotional, Physical, Financial and Time Reserves to Overloaded Lives.” by Richard Swenson, M.D. has provided me with clear insights on this topic and how it relates to chiropractors.
In this episode, I discuss how to evaluate and improve the margins in your life, and what I am looking at improving for myself. I hope you leave this episode with some thought-provoking ideas on how you can design more margin for yourself and your family.
Many chiropractors sell products in their practice, be it pillows, supplements, topical analgesics, etc. But are you doing it elegantly and effectively?
In this episode, I interview Paul Timko who has decades of experience helping providers integrate products into their practice and how to utilize them to help your patients first and increase revenue second.
There are many misconceptions about selling products in your practice and this episode is designed to help you in the following ways:
*What types of products to offer in your practice
*How to align your product supply with your patient's active care in your practice
*Utilizing certain products for at-home conjunctive care
*Selling yourself on products before selling them to your patients
*Using education not selling
*Success stories
*Strategies to improve product sales in your practice.
Paul is a great person for this topic because, like you, he has achieved the amazing balance of being great at sales without being felt like you are being sold to. Paul is great at educating in an elegant and ethical manner to improve the desired outcomes of the patient.

Are you chronically putting off things you know you need to do that, when delayed, impact you negatively?
You are not alone, but it doesn’t have to stay that way. You don’t have to have shame, guilt, and frustration around it. Maybe you need to fully understand what procrastination is and what it is not.
In this episode, I provide some insights into what procrastination actually is, how to recognize it, and 4 strategies to help overcome it.
Ironically, it took me an extra two months to do this episode, and I was somewhat beating myself up about it, but then I came across a great definition of what procrastination is, and I share that with you in this episode.
Personal finances can be a struggle for many, not only budgeting, but also saving appropriately. It’s frustrating to work hard and not have a lot to show for it and feel behind.
We got into this profession to help people but also have a level of financial freedom and be on track for a healthy retirement.
In this episode I interview Kim Butler on achieving financial freedom faster and her new strategy and tool to help you actually accomplish it.
Kim is not only an associate coach for Strategic Coach, but also the founder of Prosperity Thinkers where they aim to educate entrepreneurs, investors, and other wealth-minded people to think and act more Prosperously.

Cutting through the clutter in your community and positioning yourself as an expert in a particular niche is the fastest way to build a great reputation and practice.
In this episode, I interview Dr. Donald Murphy of the PSP Program, PSP Network, and the CRISP books we have all come to love. Dr. Murphy shares his insights on professional development, becoming a Primary Spine Practitioner, and other strategies to enhance your clinical skills.
We discuss many topics in this wide-ranging episode, including:
*Furthering your education after chiropractic school
*Does specialization increase your compensation
*How to build your practice as a Primary Spine Practitioner or chiropractic diplomates
*The Network Effect
*Looking at your first 3 years after graduation as a residency
*Positioning yourself as an expert in your community
*Finding positions in larger organizations other than private practice
*Emerging opportunities in the chiropractic profession
This was a conversation I have wanted to have for years, and it was an exciting opportunity to have Dr. Murphy share his wisdom, passion, and professional knowledge with us on this episode.

We understand the importance of excellent clinical care for our patients. However, we often forget the importance of effective communication and how that improves their adherence to care and, ultimately, their outcomes.
As chiropractors, we tend to under-communicate or even over-communicate. We are busy, we are distracted, we don’t have systems in place, and we sometimes assume the patient knows things we know.
On the flip side, we often verbal vomit on them with too much info, too much jargon, and too much science. It is like drinking water from a fire hose from them on the first visit. It is okay to slowly drip the information to them over the course of their treatment plan so they can comprehend it and actually implement some of it.
In this episode, I break down 5 phases of patient communication and how you can clearly guide them on their recovery from pain and injury, and then what comes next after they are discharged.
Just like anything, you may struggle with this communication early into implementing it, but you will improve and you will become great at communicating with your patients.
I challenge you to implement a system of communication in your practice, implement it, and then practice it with your patients and see the improvement in yourself, patient adherence, and patient outcomes. Communication absolutely has an impact on patient outcomes, so don’t discount its importance.
Choosing a location to build or buy your practice often isn’t well thought out by most chiropractors, but it is not surprising, there is a lot that goes into the process. Companies like The Joint and Trader Joe's spend millions to get it absolutely right.
I often joke that if I was opening a new practice I would just open next to a Trader Joes, because they have nailed it consistently.
In this episode, I interview Crystal Misenheimer of Progressive Practice Sales on the topic of choosing your practice location that optimizes for such things as psychographics, demographics, success, and your personal satisfaction.
Since Covid, Crystal shares with us the increased movement of chiropractors and the increase of practice sales and purchases, as well as building from scratch that has occurred.
In this episode I attempt to pin down some of the best practices when choosing your location and some of the topics we discuss are:
Psychographics of your ideal patients and where they live and work
Demographics of the area you choose
What State do you want to live in?
Types of offices (Retail, Medical Buildings, Stand Alone, Gyms, etc)
Pitfalls to avoid
What happens if you own a practice and want to move away from the area
Current trends in investors purchasing chiropractic offices

The pandemic has presented various challenges to medical practitioners, particularly the issue of payroll and overhead costs. With funds from PPP, EIDL, and HHS grants running out, and insurance companies not raising reimbursable rates, chiropractors are struggling to stay afloat.
In this episode, I interview Greg Crabtree, a practicing CPA and partner in one of the top 20 national firms in the US.
Greg shares his experience as a consultant and speaker to entrepreneurs worldwide, discussing his two books on the concept of "simple numbers." He emphasizes the importance of creating capital through profit and retention and guiding businesses to plan accordingly.
We also tackle the following topics, but not limited to:
· What it looks like to have a well-capitalized business
· How much is too much overall labor costs in your practice. What is potentially too little.
· What percentage of profits should you aim for each year.
· How to know if you can afford to hire team members.
· Making accurate financial decisions in your business for optimal growth.
We discuss how to determine when overhead is getting too high due to payroll and if medical practitioners can afford to hire more staff. The concept of labor efficiency rates (LER) in chiropractic practices is discussed as well.

In this episode of Modern Chiropractic Marketing, we address a widespread problem in the chiropractic industry known as the "Chiropractic Vicious Cycle".
Listeners will learn about the challenges that chiropractors face in the current job market and how the lack of well-paying associateships for young DCs perpetuates this cycle.
I explore how to finally break the cycle and dive into essential business skills that chiropractors need to learn, including marketing, hiring, and leadership, to achieve this goal.
I discuss the following but not limited to:
*The challenges faced by chiropractors in the current job market.
*The "chiropractic vicious cycle" and how it perpetuates the lack of well-paying associateships for young DCs.
*The importance of aiming for a revenue of $30,000 per month to achieve financial stability.
*Essential business skills that chiropractors need to learn, including marketing, hiring, and leadership.
*Strategies to break the vicious cycle and build a thriving chiropractic practice.
The episode emphasizes the need for young DCs to learn and mentor under experienced chiropractors who can guide them on how to grow their practice efficiently and compensate associates fairly. The cycle can be broken by taking time to learn and master these essential business skills.

Sample Topics Discussed, but not limited to:
*Identify your target audience: Determine who your target audience is and what their interests, needs, and pain points are.

By following the example of Shane Lawlor and staying abreast of the latest trends in your industry, you can position yourself as a game-changer who transforms the way people think about your niche. So, go out there, be bold, and make a mark that will inspire others to follow in your footsteps.
I often have chiropractors convey their inability to not only meet new people in the community but actually cultivate those professional relationships. Many chiropractors don’t know how to start, or even if they do, they don’t know how to cultivate it into a referring partner.
In this episode, I interview Attorney Drew Kapneck who is in my local community and in a very short period of time has built a vast local network that has exponentially grown his firm.
In addition to building professional relationships, we dive into the topic of how to quarterback a personal injury case to make the process easy for the patient and how to be an integral healthcare provider to make the attorney’s life easier.
In this episode, we tackle the following topics, but not limited to:
Creating relationships
Cultivating relationships
Building a practice rather quickly
Personal Injury Case Management
Ethically adding personal injury into your practice.
Much more!
In our discussions of personal injury, we avoid any state-specific information. Personal injury in the U.S. is different based on what state you are in, so we keep the topics applicable to anyone who works with personal injury.
I recently read Creativity Inc. by Ed Catmull, the President of PIXAR Animation and Disney Animation. This book’s subtitle says it all. “Overcoming the unseen forces that stand in the way of true inspiration.”
One of the chapters of this book is titled “Honesty and Candor,” and it provides a detailed breakdown of how Candor can be more valuable than honesty and why.
A brief excerpt will provide insight into the chapter and the substance of this podcast episode.
“But as valuable as the information that comes from honesty and as loudly as we proclaim its importance, our own fears and instincts for self-preservation often cause us to hold back. To address this reality, we need to free ourselves of honesty’s baggage.”
In this episode, I attempt to provide guidance on what candor can be vital for your practice, your patient care, your family, and yourself.
I also explain what I am doing to improve my leadership and how Candor has become vital to that growth.
Navigating the latest in chiropractic research and being able to clinically apply it can be confusing and overwhelming. We all want to apply the latest clinical best practices to our patient care, but where do we start?
You may also be wondering who is advocating for you as an evidence-informed chiropractor. Who is looking out for you, your practice, and the development of a thriving clinical experience?
In this episode, I interview Dr. Scott Mooring who is not only in private practice and the team chiropractor of the University of Minnesota, but he is on the board of Clinical Compass.
The mission of the Clinical Compass is to improve patient outcomes by advancing evidence–based care in an effort to transform healthcare through knowledge translation. The Clinical Compass collaborates with every major chiropractic organization, many states, and their respective associations, individual chiropractors, as well as other healthcare providers interested in providing the best, most evidence-based care to their patients.
Participation and process are as transparent as possible and a diverse cross-section of the chiropractic profession is represented.
Our goal at MCM in collaborating with Clinical Compass is to help guide you with the latest in clinical research and our ethical and elegant practice growth strategies. I hope this conversation continues to advance that initiative.
Solo Episode
Recently I posed the poll asking what is the One Thing that is holding most chiropractors back?
I didn't want things like insurance reimbursement, lack of trust in chiropractic, etc. I know chiropractors who are thriving in lieu of all of the obstacles in the way.
We had many responses and in this podcast, I discussed the top 4 things that the group feels are the biggest obstacles. I also provide my take on these four aspects and how we can all improve in those areas.
I challenge you to filter out what you think your weakest link may be that is holding you back and develop a plan to improve that for transformational impact on your practice.
I thank you for those that contributed to this crowd source episode of the podcast.
Writing “chiropractor” on a sign doesn’t attract patients anymore. If you’re stuck in what used to work, you’ll run one of the practices that used to be.
If you want patients now, you need to be a trusted expert. You need to educate your prospects and show you can help them.
The easiest way to do that? Publishing content and going digital.

If you don’t know what your patients think, you can only guess. You don’t know why patients leave, what treatments they want or if your staff treats them badly.

It might sound unrealistic, but you can find out what your patients think with a simple tool.

You can be on top of search results, magnetize patients with your marketing and have the most fine-tuned systems in your practice. But none of it matters if you suck in clinic.
Even the most entrepreneurial chiropractor will sit in an empty office if he doesn’t get his patients results. If you want to help people, you have to be at the top of your game clinically.
If your patients see results, they’ll refer their friends. But if you overcharge for bad treatment, your disgruntled patients will torch your reputation.

Content marketing sucks when nobody cares. When you’re ignored, it’s easy to believe you need to “go viral” and become the latest social media sensation.

How? In this episode, Dr. Joe Denke stops by. He’s grown his practice with valuable content marketing and has built a “total web presence” that allowed him to hire multiple people and free up his time.

In this episode, you’ll hear from Alison Taylor, who co-founded Jane software. You’ll find out how to build company culture and customer experience to build a practice for the long-term.

You want to help your patients remove their pain and see their smiles when they leave your practice.
But all too often, chiropractors get treated like second rate doctors from people who don’t know any better. This hurts—especially when it comes from “experts” who prescribe painkillers for every little thing. The loud, unethical brand of chiropractors doesn’t help.
You deserve better. And you can become the respected medical professional you are by doing one thing: Become a creator.
You’ll find out exactly how to do that in this episode.

Getting new patients with advertising is nice. But if that’s your only method of getting patients, you’re always “buying” your new patients. The problem? Unless you’re in a metropolis, you’ll run out of people to serve—and your ads might not work a year from now. What then?
The answer is building a brand. If you can build a brand, you’ll attract new patients on autopilot. They’ll refer their friends and keep coming back. With a brand, you become your community’s go-to chiropractor.
In this episode, Jerry Kennedy stops by to show you exactly how to build a brand for your practice so you never run out of patients.

YouTube is the perfect marketing channel for chiropractors. Showcasing client success stories is much more powerful on video than in a blog article.

Everybody tells you to create content to attract more patients, stand out from your competition and become the go-to chiropractor for your target market.
But what do you do if you had no audience? What if you don’t have thousands of people awaiting your next blog article? Should you just give up content marketing if you’re not a celebrity?
No. The truth is: You can start content marketing without having an audience and still be successful in the long run. The key is a simple shift in your thinking about content marketing.
If you make this change, you can stop worrying if it’ll work and start creating content today, knowing you’ll eventually have a system that continuously attracts patients.
Ever since you’ve started your practice, you’ve probably been doing similar things: Treating patients, working on the business and expanding your business and chiropractic skills.
All of that’s great, but it won’t get you to the next level. If you want to consistently fill your practice, you need to understand the underlying dynamics of why practices succeed or fail.
