In Week 1 of our new series, What Matters Most, Pastor Gabe teaches from Matthew 22 as Jesus reminds us that He isn't simply asking for first place in our lives—He invites us to build every part of our lives on Him.
To get freedom over our tongue we must "Seek before we speak". Seek the Lord with our hearts, the source of our words. And seek the power of the Holy Spirit to produce good fruit with our tongues. With freedom in Christ, we can choose to build up and not tear down.

Freedom in Christ is deeper than changed circumstances—it is the confidence that Jesus has already won the battle we could never win on our own. Though we still face spiritual opposition, we do not face it alone or without hope. Because of Christ’s victory, we can live with courage, stand with confidence, and walk in the freedom He has already secured for us.
Life rarely goes the way we plan it—and Jesus didn't promise it would. In his final words to the disciples before the cross, Jesus offered them something better than comfort: a joy the world can't take because it's rooted in him alone, not in circumstances. When we believe that Jesus has already overcome, we can face uncertainty with untouchable joy, knowing our story has a beautiful ending even when the in-between feels like it might break us.
This Father’s Day message from guest speaker George Morris, State Director for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, explores Jesus’ words in John 15:18–26, reminding believers that following Christ often brings opposition because the world first rejected Him. He identifies sin as humanity’s greatest problem, highlights the growing rejection of biblical truth both in society and within the church, and points to God’s grace through Jesus Christ as the only solution. Listeners are challenged to recognize and repent of sin, pursue a deeper relationship with the Father through prayer and Scripture, love and forgive others, and become faithful disciples who lead others to Christ.

This message reminds us that faith in God is not blind but grounded in truth, as God has revealed Himself through creation, through Jesus Christ, and through the testimonies of transformed lives. Using the framework of C.P.R.—Cause, Personal Testimony, and Resurrection—we see that the universe had a beginning, pointing to a Creator; that God is actively at work in people’s lives today; and that the resurrection of Jesus stands as the most reasonable explanation of the historical evidence. Because of this, Christianity is not merely something that feels meaningful, but something that is true in reality, calling each of us to live as witnesses who are ready to give a reason for the hope we have and to share the truth of the gospel with others.
In week one of our I’ve Witnessed It series, Pastor Gabe shares the story of Esther and the celebration of Purim while reflecting on witnessing God’s faithfulness during our recent trip to Israel. As chaos turns to reversal, we’re reminded that the same God who preserved His people then is still advancing His redemptive purposes today—preparing our hearts for Easter.

As we see that our debt has been canceled, our enemy defeated, and our fullness found in Jesus, we discover that true spiritual growth doesn’t come from performance or religion, but from holding fast to Christ.
In Week 2 of Rooted, Pastor Gabe teaches verse by verse through Colossians 1:15–29, where Paul lifts our eyes to the supremacy of Jesus over creation, the church, our salvation, and our purpose.
