the CatalystCast operates primarily as a way to recap the discussions of the Online Hip Hop Studies Book Club SayWord that operates primarily through Twitter with Discussions Monday 6pm PST using the hashtag #SayWordBC. The Book Club reads and discusses books related directly and indirectly to Hip Hop Culture
The CatalystCast also allows me to connect the books we are reading to Hip Hop music with a weekly featured song, and allows me to provide my 2¢ on relevant social issues
